I am writing this review for the BOUND BROOK NJ service counter mail clerks. This is a busy post…read moreoffice and parking is very tight. Sometimes you have to circle around a few times to get a spot. I live in Bound Brook and sometimes our mail is mis-delivered....but that being said, the customer service at this Bound Brook office is and has consistently been very good. The people who work the counter are always pleasant, professional and patient. There are times when there should be 2 people working the counter but each customer is received with patience, professionalism and sometimes even kindness. So thank you to those who work the counter and to all our mail carriers who have kept us going thru this year of the pandemic.

Court Will know your license and registration was expired without you showing them any documents, or An Officer pulling you over, then say he give you a ticket when Body Camera shows no stop and no issuance of ticket.

This is an excellent example of a service that is highly disappointing. The post office on Busch campus was recently renovated to put all the mail boxes outside with a silly computerized system. So you have to retrieve your packages outside from a weird computerized locker system, in the snow/rain/blistering heat depending on the season. Take your pick. Outside of that disservice, the post office closes at 3 and breaks for lunch at 11 until 12. By breaks for lunch, I mean totally shuts down. So they work from 8 until 11 and then 12 to 3. 6 hour work days must be nice. As I write this review I'm considering dropping it down to 1 star, but to me that is reserved for terrible offices at Rutgers like Parking. The postal branch is better than Parking, but not by much.

You can only send things with a Piscataway return address and there is no help available for you if the machine does not recognize the address you enter. I messed around with it for a while and finally left and decided to mail my package from somewhere else. This is pretty ridiculous- I'm faculty at Rutgers and my office is in the building next door to this post office- I should be able to mail things from this post office! Lots of people are on this campus who do not actually live in Piscataway- of course we are not all going to have a local return address. I don't understand why this post office is set up this way- usually you can just go to the counter at a post office and a person there will help you mail your package without much hassle. The way things are set up here, it will ONLY mail something if it has a Piscataway return address, the machine doesn't seem to recognize other campus addresses, and there is no other option for you if those things aren't working.

I proceeded to ask her where I can take a look at the regulation saying that taking pictures of labels is not allowed and she raised her voice and told me to look on the website. I stopped by around 9:30am on a Saturday to pick up a package that I was unavailable to sign for during the previous delivery attempt and ended up spending 15 minutes on line. There was only one clerk available with 10+ people waiting to be serviced. However, by the time I did reach the front, I was treated pretty courteously. Overall, I've been to smaller and larger post offices that were able to get things done better.

They went above and beyond. I JUST unpacked my crate with the paintings that prompted me to use them over a regular mover in the first place and I can't overstate how much care went into packing them. They went the extra mile. Even the guy who delivered the pallets to me in Seattle said he could tell true professionals prepared my shipment. I wish someone had written a review on Yelp! before I found them, it would have put my mind at ease but I really had nothing to worry about. They were quick. I found out I had to move across country 2 days before Thanksgiving! The guy who first took my call was polite and followed up several times to help make sure I could start moving ASAP after the holiday. Then the guys who picked up my stuff were true professionals. Watching them pack my stuff for transport to the warehouse was a thing of beauty. And they were just nice guys on top of it all. Then the guys dealing with my paperwork and the timing of my delivery were equally as nice. I had to store my stuff for a fuzzy amount of time because of problems nailing down a move-in date in Seattle. It was not a problem, even though it was the holiday. My move in date got moved up so they had to trigger my move a week or two early, and they timed it perfectly to the day! I could not move in until a Saturday, they had my stuff in Seattle by the first Monday after I was allowed in my apartment!! (They did this perfect timing miracle starting my shipment the Friday before Christmas and seeing it go across country during the New Years holiday!! They kept me in the loop. They were clear about the storage charges and even gave me a courtesy call before charging my card, even though I knew it was coming. If I ever move back east, I want these guys to take care of my move. Thank you!!!!! Thank you!!!!! Thank you!!!!!
