It's your normal post office right off of Main Street it's nice that it's not as busy as a big city post office and has plenty of parking.

Packages are constantly misplaced or delivered to wrong houses and addresses. They will scan a package as attempted to deliver when I've been home waiting for the package and nobody ever attempted a delivery. Random days, the mail just doesn't get delivered. I have NEVER experienced such poor mail delivery service in my life! I thought USPS was a respectable job and government service but the Belgrade post office has seriously caused me to change my mind. It's pretty sad to not have a dependable mail service here. I'm scared to find out what it's like when the weather gets bad. read more

I was expecting a very important certified letter. It was not delivered because of address issues. The address issue was a sign on my door that said no one could come in without a mask. What kind of an address issue was this? Since when do letter carriers enter your house? Being too lazy to do your job....... I dread having any package go through this facility. As soon as they can, they mark packages as out for delivery, but then you get to wait. And wait. And wait. Might be a couple weeks before they actually deliver it. I had tax paper work from Utah that took nearly three weeks to be delivered and I know it wasn't held up anywhere but in belgrade. I've sent emails. I've called. I have yet to find a person that can hold this place accountable. On top of the poor delivery service, my wife refuses to enter the building because of the guy working the counter. His poor attitude and aggressive behavior is extremely abrasive. We aren't getting what we pay for. Our tax dollars are not working for us. Any more I pay for overnight shipping to ensure packages aren't transferred to them. It's terrible. read more

I have called this post office about 15 times with zero answer. no way to leave a message. a package of mine has been sitting there and says it has been out for delivery for 11 days now. would have been faster for me to have made the 5 hour drive to Belgrade and delivered the package myself. do better usps read more

They have a 2-3 day delivery package in Belgrade (allegedly) that was sent on October 23 and no one has delivered it. I filed a report and they closed it as resolved saying they are short handed, but it has yet to be delivered. They don't answer the telephone at Belgrade or Bozeman. This is why the USPS is going under. They won't answer any questions because they won't pick up the phone, except to hang up before saying a word. This is really the highest level of incompetence that I have seen in quite a while. This is truly unbelievable. read more

Post carriers constantly misdeliver mail, including debit cards. They have thrown packages out the windows into our lawn, dropped them on the ground and into planters on order not to have to deliver to the door. No one answers phone calls in office. read more

Central Ave, Belgrade The mail carrier just slowed down enough to relay he couldn't deliver the mail until the pile of snow was moved away from the side of the mail box. The snow plows put the pile of snow in front of the mail box. He can't get out of his truck to walk his fat ass three feet to deliver mail to two mail boxes? This is Montana and mail carriers should be used to delivering mail in this type of weather. I'm keeping track of how many days without mail delivery, today is day 2. Accused me of stealing my own phone with the tracking, proof of purchase, years of my own selfies and stored info after they refused to give me my package because I couldn't give them my drivers license that was stolen last week. Love feeling like a criminal when I'm already dealing with such things!! I was told on the website they were holding my package at my request, which I never requested. Then the guy at the post office said it's because they can only do a certain number of scans in a day and the rest are held. WTF?!? Will be using UPS and Fedex for all personal shipping from here on out! read more

Miserable people running this place you need to hire some people with customer service training and maybe just fire these front desk clerks for some people actually ready to work. Did a change of address not receiving any mail. Also ordered a package to my home and it says delivery attempted well then where is my sticker on the door and only one try happened then it says it was sent to the office per myself wrong some lazy person at the belgrade office marked this not myself. Mail carrier is too lazy to walk 1 step out if her car. Due to snow I had to dig a path to my mail box which is normal every year but the new mail carrier refuses to leave her car. She says it is too dangerous. read more

Not a review of the office, but of the carrier service. Our mail carrier both knocks and rings when leaving a package, causing my dogs to bark and my babies, who are invariably napping, to wake up. Nature of the beast I suppose, but one day when I opened my door to get the package she turned, unprompted, and told me that if I let my dogs out she'll pepper spray them. My dogs do not have access to the front of my house and have never been out when packages are delivered. To my knowledge, she's never even seen them. I have not the slightest understanding of why she would have felt threatened, or threatened me in turn. I know some USPS offices implement policy that they do not knock or ring because they wish to avoid animal attacks, and if she was that concerned she sure had that option. Threatening me was needless. My impression was of someone looking for a reason to pepper spray a dog. Or someone irrationally afraid, which may also be the case. I tried to reassure her that I do not represent a danger to her. The next day she delivered another package, but left it out front by my trash can instead of bringing it to the door. read more
