Encountered a older female clerk who was unnecessarily abrupt and hurried like she couldn't be bothered having to explain anything. She acted like I was some dumb bimbo bubblehead. As I left she scoffed and laughed toward her coworker like I was such a problem. I wasn't asking a lot of questions or holding up the line. I just needed to send something. I had just had a bad head injury, so her assumptions and why I may not be moving to her liking was disgusting. At payment, there was a survey about the service. As I was reading it and contemplating how I mark "unsatisfied" while she is watching, she reached in front of me and gave herself a satisfactory rating. There's nothing more annoying to me than an arrogant person who has no reason to be. I'm educated, traveled, have an actual professional and take care of myself despite many health issues. She was gross, leathery, and needed to shower and brush her teeth from her smoker's breath. She smelled SO bad! I would've subconsciously noticed these things in the back of my head, yet never thought any more of them had she not treated me so poorly. This is the best post office in the area! Never a line, and quick and very friendly service!

I visited this location on March 7, 2024 only to find a sign on the door saying they were closed between 12:30PM - 2:30PM due to staffing shortages. What Post Offices closes right in the middle of the day? I guess the whole the whole Postal Service motto, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" doesn't apply here. I get things happen, but they could have at least put a notification on their website, which I checked prior to visiting them. I ended up driving to the Lake Orion Post Office where I waited 45 minutes in line. read more

I drive past this post office regularly. My PO Box is located at another Post Office Branch that is much closer to our home so I take care of most of my business takes place there. But if I just need to mail something that already has the postage applied, they have a convenient drive-up and drop box. The parking lot is a decent size and most of the times I have driven by it didn't seem too busy so if you are looking to avoid lines, this might be the place for you. read more

To my acknowledgement this post office is sort of dead visually. Stranded and little bit secluded and worn down as well. It just doesn't look as flashy and vibrant like the other post offices I have been to nearby. This one closes at 3pm on Saturdays. I had to drop off my usual packages and once walking in the lady at the counter was already helping someone. But upon my arrival a gentleman came out and promptly got my package dealt with! I don't expect the clerks to be super happy, but man are they always super unhappy! But the impetus for me to write this review is more that I find it frustrating how they always try to sell you extra items or worse, up-charge you on shipping. The post office I used to frequent before moving was very straight forward. I ask for something shipped either standard, priority, etc- at best they would ask me if I would like insurance. But every time I try to send something at this location, I am left wondering if they somehow snuck in an extra charge somewhere. That's an awkward feeling at the postal office! Definitely needs a managerial change and overhaul in my opinion. I was treated very poorly, by a gentlemen, whose name is Jeff. I got in line behind the only individual at the counter, and had waited there for a few minutes, after which a line of about 6-7 people showed up by and we're waiting in line on the other side. Jeff, then says the line is over there, and more or less tells me I need to find a spot in line. I was treated very poorly, and I think he may be in need of more training. This post office has the rudest clerks that I have ever witnessed. I've been there twice and both visits were as if I was a big burden to the clerk. Also one patron before me was humiliated before a line of people because he did not have his address noted on the package he was shipping.
