Store is a little small but still organized and clean, birds are kept in the back and I can tell…read moreare very loved even though their cages are a bit smaller it doesn't hurt the parrots since usually people buy them quick. If you are looking for a budgie tho this is not the place since they are fully flighted and very hard to tame while the other parrots have more socializing (ask the owner to take out the parrot and show you/he will not be able to do that for the budgies) I bought a parakeet/budgie for 25$, a Cockatiel for 150$ and a green quaker baby for 400$ (all babies or a little older) VERY VERY reasonable price especially compared to petco and other large chain pet stores. Timing on google is kinda off since I asked when I went in person and they said they where open 7 days a week. Even tho my budgie wasn't very tame it made friends with my other one, both my cockatiel and quaker where so friendly but do take a day or 2 to settle down. (Sadly all my birds flew away but I will definitely buy again when im more mature) PLEASE BUY FROM THIS FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS -btw I am only talking for the birds and do not know about the other critters but they did have some adol puppies which looked part German Shepard and sat with the owner

Service with a smile is hard to find these days, but you will find it at JJ Pet Supplies. I always believe in supporting small businesses and hope this place is around for a long time.

Out of my 7 years experience of grooming services elsewhere, Pet Home is by far the most…read moreprofessional and attentive grooming salon place that I have ever visited so far in downtown flushing!! I was helped by KK, who went above and beyond on providing excellent customer service to me and my Pomeranian, Bubbles. She texted me of the results despite it was their near closing time at 7pm, and if I was dissatisfied of the cut they would adjust. No other grooming salons would do that especially near their closing time. KK was very kind and communicated well throughout the whole process and even took the opportunity to assess my dog's skin condition and educated on a healthy diet for my dog's overall health outcome. My dog can get VERY aggressive when grooming towards us but Jaylin, Pet Home's groomer, was very professional and skillful! She delivered great results despite this obstacle. Pet Home worked as a team to calm my dog during the grooming process, which I was never made aware during all these years of grooming elsewhere. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this place for their professionalism, kindness, attentiveness, and each member's above and beyond customer service. I really felt how genuine they cared for each customer's dogs. They even have a porch with food and water in front of their door for stray animals. This really reflects how much they genuinely care about animals. Bubbles a DEFINITELY be coming back!!!

I was initially skeptical since there weren't many reviews, but I'm so glad I decided to give this…read moreplace a try. I've been going to Puppy Club on Northern Blvd for years, but this experience completely won me over. Not only are the prices more reasonable, but the groomer did an absolutely amazing job on my dog's haircut. This is the first time I've ever been truly happy with how it turned out! My pup looked adorable and clearly felt great too. I'll definitely be coming here from now on.

Before I address the haters, I want to say this place is my top choice for a local fish store. John…read moreand all of the crew greet me with warmth and casual professionalism everytime I walk through their doors. Now if you are still on the fence about coming here due to some people questioning the durability of MA's fish with them getting sick" within a day or two after bringing home" or that "Selling sick fish is unacceptable". Let me ease your mind. Yes, fish do get sick sometimes. That is always unfortunate. It is also sometimes out of a LFS's control at times. Pathogens, parasites and protozoa are always present in aquaculture. Symptoms may remain dormant or negligible and cannot be detected from a glance. Hence it is why we in the hobby quarantine new fish, not just for diseases we can see but also those we cannot. However sickness can sometimes not be preventable. Something you CAN prevent is a massacre of your whole tank by simply QUARANTINING YOUR FISH. If you allow time to do its thing you will most definitely know whether or not any action needs to be taken. Simply dumping new fish into established tanks just means " I dont care about my fish", " If they die its not my fault since I didnt know they were sick". Now alot of people in this hobby are beginners and thats great! Just learn to ask for help. If help is coming from a person who "pretended he didn't understand what I was saying", GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There's this pretty neat place call the internet. Oh? you're on it now? WOW! SEE look at that! Not so Hard right? BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!! :) All in all, sorry for the rant. It is just frustrating to see such a good and hard working establishment come under fire from people who dont do their research and go "oh no, the consequences of my actions" when they screw up. K Bye ;)

Very disappointed. I've been buying fish from this store for years, but the prices have become…read moreridiculously high, and the livestock quality has clearly gone downhill. Last week I bought several fish here, and they turned out to have ich. Within just a few days, every one of them died, and worse, the disease spread to other fish in my tank. This ended up costing me far more than just the fish I bought from the store. Selling sick fish is unacceptable, especially from a store that specializes in aquarium livestock. Longtime customers should not have to worry about bringing disease home from a fish store. After this experience, I seriously question their fish health standards and whether they are properly monitoring the condition of the fish they sell.
