I get down the road and my steering wheel is way off to the left after "Bret" told me that it was straight. Don't lie to your customers. It's ridiculous. I come back and express my concerns and that I was pretty irritated, his answer was "well we can do it again if you want" no your gonna do it again. I paid $209.99 for a lifetime alignment, he was irritated that I came and brought my car back. Don't bring your car here ever. All the other reviews were correct about this place. Upper management needs to look into this crap. Unacceptable Firestone. I will be taking my car somewhere else after this!

They always went out of their way to make sure I was getting recommended services at certain interval but never mentioned transmission. Took the accord there regularly the transmission block broke months after taking it in. Had to scrap the car because I couldn't afford the rebuild. The invoices have the wrong mileage, they only have 23 or 1000 miles listed which means they never checked for recommendations at my actual mileage. I even tried to argue more work was needed with my car before this happened and I was assured it was fine. I was connected with the area manager who gave me false hope and ghosted me.

I went to Luke's about a month ago, because I needed to get my transmission flushed. I was…read moreincredibly happy with the service. First of all, when you set up an appointment, you can request a loaner car, so that you don't need to wait there for the car, and I didn't have to miss work. I also saw a different rep ordering someone an Uber for a different customer because who didn't have appointment so there wasn't a loaner available. Secondly, I originally went in for a transmission flush. While I was at work, I got a text and email of the inspection they had done. The inspection was really easy to read, and gave me different levels of recommendations for other things that needed to be done. Some things were urgent, and some things were needed soon, but not urgent, and there were some things that were for maintenance only. On my lunch break, I called my service rep, and he was able to talk me through all of the things on the report, and explain things to me, because I am pretty illiterate when it comes to cars. I ended up also getting my drive belt replaced as well. But my rep made sure to let me know what the price would before I decided to go through with it. At the end of my work day, I drove my loaner car back to Luke's and picked my car up, and was on my way. Overall, the inspection report, and the loaner car I think is what really separates Luke's from the rest. When I've taken my car to get an oil change or the tires replaced at other places, i've always had to wait in the lobby and its a waste of time. I lost no time with Luke's and knew exactly what was happening to my car. Take your car to Luke's if you want incredible service.

The issues started some time ago when Luke recommended power steering service to my vehicle. The…read morecost was over $4,000. It was so high that whenever I went in there for additional service later, the customer service rep would remark about how much they had charged me for the work. However, despite the high price, the power steering system there after failed. Since the repair was still under warranty, it did not cost anything other than my time to get it repaired, but the concern was they admitted that they had used non-OEM parts, which was surprising given how much they had charged. After the power steering system was repaired, I took my car in for a brake job. Once again, I noticed issues. I took it back and discovered that the rotors had warped because they again used non-OEM parts. Shortly after getting that issue resolved, the power steering system failed yet again and once more it was due to using non-OEM parts. During one of the many conversations about these issues, the customer service manager told me they fired the original customer service representative who arranged the initial power steering system. I was surprised they would fire a customer service representative over the wrong parts being used. Then it occurred to me that they might be paying their customer service representatives a commission, which would encourage them to upsell price while reducing cost. That would explain why they kept using non-OEM parts on my repairs even though their policy called for manufacturer parts to be used. I then decided to do a little online digging and found that it does seem that Luke's pays a sales incentive to their customer service representatives. Job postings indicate a wage range from $50,000 to $125,000 and state that job skills must include overcoming objections. This would imply that the polite and energetic customer service representatives are paid to inflate price, reduce cost, and sell customers repairs that may not be needed. That certainly appears to be what happened in my case with multiple repairs. After bringing these issues to the attention of management, the service level I received decreased markedly. Twice I reached out to the owner himself via LinkedIn and was told each time he would personally look into it and get back to me. I never heard from him again in either situation. The customer service manager at the location I use promised to arrange a rideshare to pick me up from my office after the car had to be towed after the last breakdown, but the arrangement was never made, leaving me stranded at the office after hours. I arranged my own rideshare to get to the facility and retrieve the keys to a loaner car that was to be on site for me only to find that no keys had been left, thus leaving me stranded at their garage after hours. I had to hire another rideshare to get home and then return to the garage the next day to get the loaner vehicle that was supposed to have been arranged for me the day before. I have since called Luke's twice and left messages on their voicemail, inquiring about my service records so I could understand what other maintenance might be due on the vehicle. My calls were never returned. Certainly, being greeted with a smile, having a nice lounge to wait in while cars are being repaired, and having loaner vehicles available for those who do not have the time or desire to wait on premises are all great! It seems that the clients appreciate it. But at the end of the day, what we all want is a car that is repaired correctly, using the right parts, and at a fair rate of labor. We pay tens of thousands of dollars for a vehicle and must trust that a mechanic will do the right job without taking advantage of us. By apparently paying their customer service reps to inflate pricing and use cheap parts, Luke's has violated this trust. All the customer service hypein the world will not change that fact, and as I can no longer trust them, I will no longer be a customer.

Long story short I asked for his name and information for corporate. He told me that they do not have a corporate office. I went back to my car and called another location that immediately pulled my information up and scheduled another appointment. I asked if I already had to be a member and would I have to pay $100 I was told by an assistant manager that this was not true. I also found out that they do have a corporate office. I have not used this place as a car repair location, not sure I ever will, but my first two visits…read morewere travel related. For major trip consultation they require an appointment and that make sense. Having an appointment will probably help. When I walked in the first thing you see is a Care Care Desk with couches nearby. A gentlemen walked in ahead of me and we waited for someone to come to the desk (about 5 minutes) There was a lady who I will call Karen for obvious reasons was sitting on one of the couches. Every time I go to a car service business and I see people sitting on couches, I assume they are waiting for their car to be done. When the guy behind the Car Car desk finished the guy in front of me, he went in the back again. After 10 minutes I was getting impatient, but staying calm when I noticed a lady sitting at one of the travel consultation tables in the back of the store. I suddenly thought, this must just be a desk for Car Care. Having been spending 10 minutes doing nothing, I started to walk back towards what I perceived was the travel section, the lady behind the desk jumped up and had a look that she was under attack! She practically screamed, "CAN I HELP YOU?" As I started to explain what I was there for I noticed she was with a customer, which I couldn't see from the front of the store. I apologized to that customer for interrupting. After a quick 5 second explanation of what I wanted, she said, again in a loud agitated tone, "WE ARE SHORT STAFFED. YOU HAVE TO BE PATIENT. Now I'm mad, I was nothing but patient and courteous. I'm tired of the short staffed statement as an excuse for bad or rude service. While it may have some truth, STOP MAKING EXCUSES and Just EXPLAIN! When I tried to explain that this was my first visit and I wasn't sure if there were separate lines for Car Care and Travel services, the guy behind the Care Care desk, who doesn't seem to like to spend time there, came out in a confrontational posture and tone saying, "WE ARE SHORT STAFFED, YOU NEED TO WAIT YOUR TURN." I replied to him that I had no intention to cut any lines, but I was confused as to what is expected and their are no signs. That is when Karen jumped off the couch and said, "YOU DID JUMP THE LINE" I was going to tell her I probably did, but I assumed by her casual pose, staring at her phone she was already serviced and waiting for her car. I didn't even get to finish my apology when she started into how rude I was and she was here first. I assure all readers I was nothing but polite, but they don't have any signs and while I am very patient, one thing that tests my patience is standing in line 20 minutes only to find out I was in the wrong line and then have to start over again in a new line. While I was there at my designated time to pick up my travel documents, I could see I would be waiting at least an hour so I decided to come back when they opened the next day. I also didn't want to deal with Karen. I checked their website to find out they opened at 8am on Saturday, so I came back at 8:30 am. As I walked up to the door I noticed the sign on the door said care care opens at 8am, but Travel business doesn't open till 9am. Good to know, wish they would update their website. When I did go back in Saturday there was one guy sitting on the couch right by the Care Care desk. There was a travel consultant in the back of the store sitting alone, so I walked up to her. I was non confrontational, calm, and softly spoke why I was here. Grumpy old man came out from behind the Car Care desk and stated, "You have to wait your turn, this man was here first." Again, when I mentioned that I wasn't sure if this was two separate lines, he cut me off and whined about being short staffed. I am aware of the world situation right now, but as I tried to state that it isn't clear where lines are here and if these are separate businesses or not, I got the same "We are short staffed" remark. Again, I was never anything but polite, so I started to look at the travel accessories area while the travel lady helped the customer "ahead of me". When it was my turn, she found my request and said the documents weren't ready and she would put them together. I was SILENTLY thinking, what was the point of an appointment if they aren't ready? I didn't say a word I just smiled and continued to shop while she went into the back. When she came out and handed me my travel documents, she politely, and with a smile said, " Will there be anything else" Trying to recognize that I didn't understand all their procedures, I said, " I found these items in your store, do I pay you, or pay at the Care Care desk she said, "I'm here all by myself, we are short staffed" TIRED OF HEARING IT, LISTEN AND ANSWER THE QUESTION ALEADY. I thought it was a good question and wanted to avoid any more confrontation. THEY NEED TO CLEAN UP THEIR PROCEDURES, but I probably won't be back here
