Highly recommend Urias Landscaping. We have used them for several jobs over the past two years and always very please with their work. Most recently Oswaldo and his crew installed an entire irrigation system in our back yard. His prices are fair, his work is outstanding and he shows up when he says he will, his crew is knowledgeable and always cleans up when they are finished. Whether it's pruning citrus trees, stump removal, removing rock, adding new rock, shaping shrubs or rose bushes, planting shrubs or cactus or just law care maintenance, he is the only company we use. read more

We have used Urias for 20 years. They have never missed a week. Only weather can stop them from honoring their commitment. They have kept our yard at two different homes looking great and we really appreciate their hard work and dedication and friendliness. Thank you, Urias! We appreciate you! read more

Oswaldo has been my mom's landscaping pro for years and has done a beautiful job on her yard, so when we wanted to makeover our yard, they came out and did an excellent job, and we are kicking ourselves for not contacting them sooner! Pricing was extremely reasonable! read more

We have tried a few different landscapers in the area but now that we have encountered Urias, I can't imagine calling upon or recommending any other company. As new homeowners who have never landscaped on their own, our front and back yards became severely overgrown and unruly. We attempted trimming ourselves and hired a few companies, who were unprofessional, clearly did the bare minimum and would tell us that they "don't do trees" even though they advertised tree trimming. They still charged us a hefty amount for work we could do on our own (trimming bushes, mowing our small patch of grass, etc.). We called Urias for an estimate (which was free) and Jessie came looked around and gave us a GREAT quote, far less expensive than all of the companies with silly excuses. They even sent us the detailed quote via e-mail, upon request. They brought a team of five or so the day-of, who scaled and trimmed our palm trees, shaped and trimmed our bushes, fruit trees, cut and trimmed the grass, pulled and treated gravel for weeds, removed two dead plants, and even removed a small tree stump for us (a last minute request at no additional charge!). Our fruit trees are ALL bearing fruit this year, when last year only two of the four did so. In addition, Urias took away yard waste as well as trash and boxes we had near our cans AND fixed our plastic shed that had become crooked and seemingly unusable. Urias was responsive, professional, affordable, and went above and beyond. They clearly take pride in their work. Might I add that they were the lowest of the 3-4 bids we received for our large project. Well exceeded our expectations! read more

Urias Landscaping recently completed a large project for us in our yard and their work was outstanding. Oswaldo gave us excellent advice regarding products and directed us to a wonderful nursery. His team is so hardworking ... and very meticulous. They left my property spotless. We appreciate that they show up when they say they will and never try to upsell us. Overall an incredibly easy business to work with. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! read more

We have been using Urias Landscapers for a number of years now, and could not be happier with them. For monthly maintenance the crew arrives and knows just what to do. There are plants they know we want trimmed every time, and there are plants we may ask them to attend to on that specific month. Upon completion, the yard is cleaned up and all debris removed. Everything looks perfect when they leave. As we have requested, Jessie gives us a call a day before the crew is scheduled to arrive so that we can cover our pool. (We have oleanders around the narrow, raised deck surrounding two sides of the pool and trimming them is a difficult job which unavoidably results in some trimmings in the pool that are caught by the cover. When the job is done, the guys blow any debris off of the cover, remove it, fold it, and put it away. When necessary, they even skim the pool of anything that has made its way into the water.) If we have any unique concerns or requests, we can call Urias, and Oswaldo and Jessie will come out for a consultation and discussion of those requests before sending the crew. They are very accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. They will suggest what plants might work best in specific locations, and offer advice on how to care for them. Besides routine trimming of small plants, bushes, and palms, we have had Urias remove various plants, put in new plantings, pick up and spread rock, seasonally maintain the watering timing in the irrigation control box, and replace old, as well as put in new, irrigation lines. They are professional and excellent in everything they have done for us. We highly recommend this company. read more

Urias Landscaping and maintenance have been handling my yard care, yearly clean ups and general gardening - plant me a tree, put in a garden bed and the like for almost 3 years. Recently I used them to completely remodel my backyard - new concrete patio, shrubs, palms, fencing, pavers, outdoor lighting, anyway you get the idea. They are extremely accomplished, the owner has completed training at the Phoenix Botanical Gardens and they are also very affordable. I love my backyard, Thanks Jesse and Oswaldo. read more

Urias Landscaping - a group of water lillies in a pond - Landscaping Near Me

Our front and back yard was in need of refreshing. We called a few landscapers we found online and either the prices were unreasonable or they never called back. Urias Landscaping was the 5th one we called. They answered and were eager to help us. The owner, Oswaldo, came by the next day to discuss what we wanted to do. He saw that our yard needed some spring cleaning to bring it back to life. He sent us a quote that evening which was reasonable. He and his team were very accommodating and were able to get the job done 2 days later. (We weren't expecting such fast turn time.) They just left our house today and did a FANTASTIC job! Our yard looks amazing, renewed and refreshed. Thank you Urias Landscaping for the quick turnaround, constant communication and going above and beyond for us. read more

I am sorry to say, but I did like Jesse and Urias, but they decided to diss me after requesting service. They scheduled an appointment today and failed to show up, no call. I tried to call them to reschedule, but they did not return my phone call. Its a shame, because I liked them. read more

They're a terrific company to work with. We've been a once a month client for years. Jessie and Oswaldo are great people to work with. We always rely on their advice as to what needs to be done. We're hardly desert experts and we appreciate their expertise. We highly recommend them for their full service capabilities. Irrigation, difficult trimming jobs, they do everything you can imagine and they do it well. read more

My wife and I have rental properties in the east valley and after the last tenant absolutely destroyed one of them, I was scrambling to find someone who could restore it in the two weeks I had before the next tenants moved in. I found Urias online and despite the negative reviews I got them out to provide me a price. Jessi was great, very responsive, they met me at the house on time, provided me with a quick estimate and got the work done in less than a week, block wall, gravel, 50' of flower beds, pool fence and much more. I was so impressed with what they did at the beginning I asked them to provide me a price to do additional work. I have to say their pricing is great, customer service was exceptional and the quality of work was amazing. they truly saved me on getting my home back to what I had before the previous tenants. He did such a great job we hired them to do some work on another property we have and the experience was the same, nothing short of great! I would recommend them for any type of landscaping work required, an honest family business! read more

These guys are amazing. They showed up when they said they would and finished the job when they said they would. They were professional and cleaned up each day! They quality of the work was great. The men worked hard in the grueling heat on the weekend. They leveled out a huge area, changed out all the drip in the backyard, planted new shrubs and trees, removed a huge palm tree, installed new landscape lights. So nice to have found a quality and fair priced contractor in this world of unreliable contractors. I would recommend Urias Landscaping to anybody! read more

First time we dealt with them they did an OK job fixing out sprinkler. The second time things totally fell apart. Called them and they answered but said they needed to call right back. They never called. I contacted them several hours later and they let me know that they forgot. Ok, stuff happens. I explained I had a bad leak and would like to get them out asap. They were able to schedule me for the next day which I thought was great. Only, they never showed up and never called. I never heard from them again. I guess they forgot again. Messing around with them has set back my repairs even longer! Too many landscaping options out there to basically call up and beg to give them my money. Oh well, on to another landscaper! read more

I got a quote from Urias. They were not very friendly on the phone. When they showed up in person, they were not much better. The owners are a husband and wife team. The husband and his crew do the work, the wife manages the business. They were not rude but they were not friendly either. They were very direct and unaccomodating. They had a "take it or leave it" approach. They were not flexible regarding when they could come. They said "We come to your area on this day of the week and you will have to have it done this day or you can't use our service" They were not flexible about scheduling either. They would not allow me to hire them just for the summer or 6 months out of the year. They said if I use their service, I'm required to hire them year round. The one positive was their pricing was fair. They were not asking for an arm and a leg like most of these landscaping companies. They were asking for $100 for the month which is pretty reasonable. But what ultimately made me decide not to hire them was their lack of flexibility and their high volume business approach. It seems like they do a lot of homes. I got the feeling that if you were not happy with their service or wanted something extra, they would not accomodate you. I would rather pay more and have more personal and flexible service. read more

WOW! My yard looks great. Here's the deal. I looked on yelp to get a good landscaper. I decided to go with this company on a whim. Jessie came by (when she said she would be here) and I told her everything that I wanted. I need weeds pulled, spray, bushes trimmed, trees trimmed, blowing, etc. After all of the monsoon rains and dust, my yard was a mess. Today they showed up on time. I will not give you the amount I paid because every yard and situation is different. But looking at what they hauled away and what they did, it was well worth it. One big thing they did....Jessie and her husband showed up with the landscaping crew. Her husband over looked every piece of the yard to make sure that they were doing everything I told them to do. Very professional. I would use them again. I have had some terrible landscapers in the past and they were excellent. read more

Urias did a great job at a reasonable price. Will definitely use again.

We used them for our Front and Side yard makeover last year and I couldn't be happier. Jessi and her husband are way nice and our front yard is perfect for wonderful Gilbert neighborhood. And our side yard is loved by our 3 dogs. It's all cemented for a long dog run. Their pricing is super competitive which is always a plus:) I don't know why reviews say Jessi is rude. She's been so nice and they finished our front and side yard in a week. She always calls me back on time. Once she did call back one day late due to family emergency and she apologized so much I felt bad. We are going to do our backyard this year so I can't wait to call them back. Maybe she does come off serious in the beginning but if you get to know them they are wonderful people who really cares about their work. read more

After reading the reviews I decided to call Urias Landscaping for an estimate on a mesquite tree removal. When they came they quoted me a fair price and offered to get it done the same day. That same day my tree was removed from my front lawn and not a trace of it left. Their business card states, "We're fast, Reliable & Dependable- At very Low Prices - Free Estimates", that was my exact experience with them. Job well done Urias. read more

I called Urias to trim a large palo brea, install some plants including a small palm tree, and fix some irrigation issues. Urias was courteous and his team did a good job with the irrigation, plant installation, and most of the shrub trimming. However, I do not recommend these crew for trimming anything larger than a fruit tree. (My grapefruit tree looks good.) They completely butchered my big palo brea by just chopping branches off the sides to make it really tall and narrow. I'm not a tree expert, but I know it shouldn't look like this because I've hired tree specialists in the past who have done it right. Furthermore, I'm concerned that the tree is going to break in the next windstorm because they did not thin out the part that remains. Urias suggested that I just have the height of the tree reduced by half next time. I checked online, and "topping" palo breas (which means just cutting off top branches as he suggested) damages the tree and makes the new branches that grow back unstable in wind. So I definitely won't be doing that. Anyway, they were nice people, but I'm mad about the big tree so I'm only giving them two stars. For regular maintenance, I'd recommend them--just tell them not to cut shrubs too small if you don't want them to be. read more

I was so excited about owning my first yard... until one year passed by and it looked like a jungle. I tried to maintain it myself but quickly learned that my bypass lopper and I were not enough to cut it... see what I did there? Feeling defeated, I called a few landscaping companies for free estimates. I met with one guy and he actually made me feel guilty about letting my yard get so bad! There's a reason why I'm hiring a landscaper here, buddy... anyway, Urias Landscaping was not like that. Jessie always returned my call within 24 hours and she gave me the best price. We set up an appointment and they did an amazing job. I'm incredibly pleased with Urias Landscaping and recommend them! read more

If I could leave Urias zero stars I would. Urias recently landscaped my front and back which consisted of pulling weeds, mowing, and trimming bushes and trees. In the quote Jessie claimed weed spray was included in the price and she and her crew would come over the following day at noon. The next day they showed up at 7:30 without a heads up phone call. That was all fine until once they were finished, I didn't get a knock on the door or anything letting me know they were done so I could inspect and make sure they did the job right. They just drove off and didn't even leave a receipt on the door. Once I realized they were gone, I inspected the yard and saw many weeds in the front yard and several out back in the gravel areas of my yard. I figured they sprayed the weed killer so they should be gone within a couple of days. A couple of days went by and they weren't gone. My husband gave Jessie a call and told her the problem and she said she'd be out to look at it that day (Thursday). She never came by. My husband called her again on Friday and she said she wouldn't be able to come by until Monday now. My husband informed her we'd be out of town and she said that's fine, that she'd do it while we were away. We received a voicemail on Tuesday that she came by and pulled the weeds but WE need to spray. When we returned from our trip yesterday we had her card with a note on the back saying we need to spray. Totally unprofessional. Why say we need to spray when it was originally quoted in your price? Why say you are going to pull all of the weeds yet when we return they're just thriving? Just a bunch of crooks in my opinion and wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. read more

it's too bad that the wife is in control of the phones because she doesn't know how to return phone calls. I've used them over a year ago and was very happy with the service. I have tried calling them on 3 different occasions with my name and number and she will not call me back. it's unfortunate as she is losing business for her husband who does a great job. read more

These guys do a fabulous thorough job! I pay them $100/m to trim, mow, weed, keep bushes trimmed, and make sure sprinklers are hitting everything, etc. I think that is a good price and my yard always looks completely fabulous - I can't find one thing wrong after they come.... good workers! The few small complaints I have deals with communication. First there has been a time I didn't get a call back and at the beginning of my services 4 months ago they forgot to add me to their weekly route which ticked me off a bit but they apologized and got right over the next day. And the language barrier is sometimes difficult to make sure we are all on the same page at first. But I like to give my business to small growing local businesses that work hard and do a good job and appreciate the money I give them. The work they do is very very good for a great price and I know I'm helping a family who is giving a fair honest deal so they may not be perfect but I'm willing to look over their imperfections :) read more

I heard about Urias through my neighbor, whose yard has always looked nice. They gave me a reasonable quote for the jungle I had growing in my back yard and also for monthly maintenance. They showed up on time and Jessie, the owner ( husband and wife team) always made sure to contact me in regards to any changes. They even suggested which herbicide to buy at Home Depot bc it would be cheaper for me to do it then for them to provide it. I appreciated that bc they could have easily marked it up without my knowledge. My yard looked completely transformed after a 5 man crew worked on it for 5+ hrs. They trimmed all the trees and cleaned everything up. No leaf in sight after they were finished. They did everything they stated they would during the consult plus more. They even told me what is included in the maintenance and what is extra. They come to my neighborhood on a certain day and I don't mind that bc I don't have to be home when it happens. Only thing is I wish they had online payment or a recurring payment for the maintenance but that is no big deal. read more

Have been using Urias for about 9 months. At first, everything was great, but as time went on, the service got worse and worse. They started coming CRAZY early, like 6am in the morning. Also, after telling them month after month, to leave an invoice on the back patio table, they still kept emailing them to me. Then I'd get phone calls from Jesse asking to pay as soon as possible, as she has "personal bills" that have to be paid. Very professional. At this point, they haven't been to my yard in 3.5 weeks (usually they come every 2 weeks), and they are not picking up any of my phone calls for the last 2 days. I do not know what happened, but I think they went out of business, which is what I'd expect given the service they provide. I will be taking my lawn maintenance service elsewhere at this point. read more

I have used Urias Landscaping for three years and I am completely happy with the quality and professionalism of their work. They did general tree trimming and yard cleanup at my previous residence and when I moved recently I had them come to do a complete redo of my yard. I had trees and shrubs removed and new water lines installed for new shrubs and trees. In addition I had a paver patio and walkways with pavers done and they are beautiful. The team that came to my house worked very hard and did an excellent job. I was confused by some of the negative reviews because this company has always been professional and done excellent work. Give them a chance they are very reliable. read more
