I brought my dog to this clinic when he was experiencing severe bloody diarrhea. I clearly expressed my concerns and specifically asked whether an ultrasound or additional testing was necessary to rule out other potential issues beyond what the veterinarian assumed was the cause. I was explicitly told no by the vet.
While we were in the exam room, my dog continued to have multiple episodes of bloody diarrhea on the floor. Despite this, I was repeatedly reassured that this was "normal" and simply a side effect of the medication he was given. He was then sent home.
Thankfully, I trusted my instincts, because this was absolutely not normal. That decision likely saved my dog's life. I took him to VEG ER that same night (which I highly recommend), where he was immediately diagnosed with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. I was told that had I waited or trusted the initial vet's assessment, my dog likely would have died.
Had I followed the advice given at this clinic, my dog would not be alive today.
Since then, I have followed up multiple times requesting a refund for the services provided, as no diagnostics or effective treatment were performed. Each time, I am met with an uncaring attitude from the manager, who claims they cannot act without approval from the medical director. Despite repeated attempts, the medical director has never contacted me.
I was encouraged by their staff to write this review, so here it is.
Attached are photos of the so-called "normal" side effects my dog was sent home with, as well as his bloodwork--testing that would have immediately revealed the seriousness of his condition had this clinic chosen to run any diagnostics instead of making assumptions and dismissing my concerns.
This experience was negligent, dismissive, and frightening. Please think carefully before trusting this clinic with your pet's life. read more
