I'm used to vermicelli bowls coming with the spring rolls, these don't unless you get the 3 meat bowl for $18 or the roll only bowl. My only issue is that the some menu items seem pretty over priced if you ask me. I was a little wary about trying this place because reviews weren't the most flattering. And because I was unsure about ordering off the kiosk. But the worker/cook was super friendly greeting everyone that came in. And you could see him working hard in the kitchen. And I ended up really enjoying my meal! Honestly, downsides are that the portions are on the smaller side, especially for the price they're at. And the meat I got in my bowl was kind of on the dry side. But the pho broth is so flavorful, that I didn't mind too much. We also tried the side of fried rice, and it was so addicting. It's so smoky without being burnt or too salty. Tbh this would be one of my top spots to go to after a late night since they stay open so long or even when dealing with a hangover. The plain broth is light but still flavorful. And they have fried eggs on the menu. And low-key this could be a spot to get work done too. Alright so this place is incredibly tiny, but that doesn't factor into my review, because if they can make food, they can make food. Their Spicy Crab Rangoon was actually incredible!! I could eat about 7 orders of them myself (6ct.). I ordered the "Pho with Mixed Vegetables" as it comes, however it was missing jalapeños, bean sprouts, and mushroom (which was what made me decide to get this bowl in the first place). I only mentioned the missing jalapeños, to be fair, but then I was brought (2) slices of pepper. Beware also that they have only bottled water on the kiosk menu, but as soon as we placed our order, they told us that they had water out for self-use. Also I went with two Pho veterans and they kept mentioning that it didn't smell like Pho at all in there or on us after was an issue. My favorite food. I'm in town for a couple of days and searched for a Vietnamese restaurant. This got 4.p rating so you would think it's good. NO! The whole vibe is weird. Very little seating think fast food. I only eat chicken. The white meat but they only had dark meat and pork. Both I don't like. No shrimp. This is it! This is probably for someone but it isn't for me. Ordered a rice dish with assorted grilled meats. Very standard and hard to miss Viet fare. Welp, they accomplished a miss. Entirely lacked in flavor on its own. "Bbq sauce" didn't help. Fish sauce was without much aroma or flavor, which is nearly impossible. I tried Urban Vietnamese last week for the first time. I met a friend for dinner. You order to the left after entering using a tablet. It took me a little while, but I figured it out. My friend ordered fried wontons and shared them with me, and I'm so glad she did. They were the best wontons I've ever tasted! They were fresh and crispy and stuffed with cream cheese, scallions and red pepper flakes. And they paired perfectly with the sauce. I ordered Bo Vien, pho with meatballs, and a Thai milk tea. The bowl included rice noodles, beef broth, pan seared meatballs, cilantra, culantro, basel and bean sprouts topped with jalapenos. It was tasty and filling! Lunchtime at work has rolled around again and in looking for something new on my delivery app, I finally decided to try this place out. I had been having cravings for spring rolls but I felt guilty for only ordering those. This time around I ordered these with grilled pork and peanut sauce and a rice bowl also with grilled pork with carrot, daikon, tomato, cucumber, K's BBQ sauce, and added mango. Everything looked really good when I received it. Maybe I'm just greedy, but I wished the spring rolls had more meat in them. Other than that, they were very good. I will say that the peanut sauce that I ordered with it was much thicker and creamier than what I'm used to but it still worked with the rolls. The grilled pork rice bowl was delicious. This is a place of healing!! If I'm feeling down and need a pick me up, or when my friends tell me they aren't doing well, this is the place we go. There is something special about the broth here that just makes you feel rejuvenated. This week was my first time enjoying the brisket pho and it's just as sensational as the chicken!! One bite in and your body immediately starts releasing all your worries. This place is true comfort food. Any form of soup is my personal preference for when I'm feeling down, but this is my go to place that I love to share with all my close friends. I see them immediately start to feel better while we are eating. When food can heal your soul, you know you have found something very special. The staff is always SO friendly and you can tell they love working there. I can tell they have updated the decor on the inside recently and it's feeling homier which I love! I wanted to like this place but the food was just okay. This is my opinion and I know everyone has different tastes so please take my review with a grain of salt. I'll start with the good things: The iced Vietnamese coffee with boba was delicious. Growing up, my mother (we're Vietnamese) would make this for me and the flavor was very reminiscent of my childhood. It was just the right amount of sugar, flavor, ice, and the tapioca was the right amount chewiness and consistency. I enjoyed the coffee. I also loved the spicy cream cheese crab rangoons or wontons as some may call it. They use a thinner type of skin so you don't get that typical thick, yellow, crispy, greasy exterior and texture. It's more so of like a thinner, egg roll type of skin but I love it! It was crispy, creamy, and I enjoyed the kick of spice with the hints of cream cheese and crab. Comes with the traditional sweet chili sauce. One of my favorite appetizers for sure! I got all the items to go and they stayed crispy, even for a 36 min drive home. Customer service was very nice and friendly. Waiting time was good too. I like that you could order to go on the tablet on the side. Ordering on the tablet was easy and user friendly. I had no issues. The not so good: The com thit nuong (grilled pork with rice) plate was lacking flavor, especially the fish sauce. Fish sauce is supposed to be fragrant, citrusy, salty, and strong and all I got was a very light, muted flavor. Again, this is my personal opinion and while you may like it, I was longing for more flavor and salt. The veggies were looking sad as there were small shreds of daikon and radish and the greens were just shredded, generic iceberg lettuce and a piece of cucumber. The pork was cut up and not in the traditional whole pork chop form. It was missing that sear and while the flavor is okay, it's not something I would order again. I think they have room to improve on this dish. The fresh spring rolls with the rice noodles, veggies, shrimp and pork was also just okay. It was falling apart as I was trying to eat it and I didn't like that. The saving grace was the peanut sauce! It was pretty delicious with a strong peanut taste and I drowned and dipped those spring rolls. in it! The sauce was so good that I kept some of it to eat with rice the next day. Portion size on the rice dish was kinda small for the price. I think they need to have bigger portion sizes for those prices. The atmosphere felt more of a hip, modern, vibe and not the usual comfy, down to earth, home-like feeling when you walk into a Vietnamese restaurant. Again, some people might love that, but I prefer the latter. There's definitely room for improvements and I'll be back to try more things. read more

I have wanted to try this place for a while. I selected the Chef's special with steak and brisket. The pho comes with scallion, white onion, cilantro, basil, bean sprout, and jalapeno. The broth was a fatty beefy flavor bomb. Delicious, but very rich. The meats were fall apart tender and delicious, especially the brisket, just perfect proteins. A very solid experience on the first go-around. I saw them open a month or two ago and wanted to wait it out until they got their feet underneath them. The concept is pretty simple. They are taking Vietnamese cuisine (with some non traditional twists - or should I say twists of their own) and have made it into a fast order experience. And it's good. I gave the fried eggrolls and the stir fried egg noodles with shrimp a go. The eggrolls we're pretty danm good. Cooked perfectly with some serious ground pork filling. A+ The stir fried noodles were good as well. They didn't blow me away but let's just say I would order it again. I would also recommend it to someone who likes a little heat and spice. There is no need to add the supplied Sriracha at the condiments station. All in all, a very good pick for a quick Asian food option. The prices are reaonable.
