Millie playing with Jazmine once completely healed

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. When I adopted my lil Miss Millie, my other frenchie and 2 Pomeranians were a little too rough with her and one of them broke her leg. I took her to MedVet and was quoted ridiculous $10-$20,000 surgery price for a 7lb frenchie!!!! I took my baby and called around to other places. I googled this place and emailed them. I want to say it was a Tuesday/Wednesday. I received a cal back and was quoted a price much more reasonable for my baby Millie. The surgery was scheduled for that Friday of that week.!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming and they took great care of my baby Miss Millie. About a month and half later she is doing great. Her fracture is healed and she thinks she's the boss of my other fur babies. There were some dressing issues and upset stomach along the way, and the staff was always available and tried to accommodate us as best as they could. I live in the city so it was challenging with my work schedule and the distance but they always tried to work with me. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

Quick, efficient and kind service! Have a beautiful day guys! highly recommend

Quick, efficient and kind. They are so helpful over the phone! I highly recommend to anyone seeking a bunny vet!

They take such great care of our pets when we come. We had to get our bunny spayed & they took such great care of her for that & her monthly nail trims. Our pup, Indy also gets treatment for arthritis & they're always SOO good with him.

Urban Vet even writes your babies names on a big chalk board right when you walk in. How neat.

The ENTIRE staff seems to take immense pride in their clinic and their mission to make my 11 year old dog feel a whole lot better!

Our dog partially tore her CCL last November so we scheduled a consult with Dr. Przywara. Right from the start we knew we were in great hands. He did his initial observation of our dog and then came to talk to my husband and I. He was so kind and reassuring, and he was INCREDIBLY thorough. He sat with us for over 45 minutes explaining the anatomy of a canine knee, the injury our dog had, the options to fix it, and answering any and all questions we had. He never pressured us into anything and helped to give us the information we needed to make the right decision. Although we tried a few nonsurgical therapeutic options first, we ultimately decided to do TPLO surgery in February in an effort to get our girl back to 100%. Dr. Przywara did a fantastic job. He and his whole surgical team kept us informed and gave very good and detailed instructions for recovery. They made a tough recovery so much easier. Our girl is now 9 weeks post TPLO and is almost back to 100%! At the end of our final recheck appointment when thanking Dr. Przywara for all of his work with us and Kona, he said "this is why I got into this profession - to help good dogs and good people." And THAT tells you everything you need to know - he's the exact kind of vet you want taking care of your dog!

I brought my dog to VCA after she was attacked by another dog during a walk. Thankfully, her…read moreinjuries seemed minor, and I was told she had scrapes and bruising but no puncture wounds or bleeding, so no treatment or antibiotics were needed. Later that night, my dog became very stiff and sore and limping slightly. I chalked this up to the altercation and that the adrenaline had worn off. The next morning she was better but i called to ask about getting her something mild for pain, and that's when I found out my dog had not actually been seen by a vet, I was told she would need to come back in for a veterinary exam before any medication could be prescribed. Looking back, I probably should have confirmed who was evaluating my dog (maybe i was told but forgot) and i should have asked more questions about pain management. Still, I was frustrated that a vet was not consulted before we left and that pain relief wasn't part of the standard care after something like this. Expecting me to bring my dog back again less than 24 hours later for something that felt pretty predictable was disappointing.

Extremely Unprofessional and Disturbing Experience. Would Not Recommend…read more I had the mobile vet come to my home on 5/28/2025 to examine my cat and take her blood for a necessary medication refill. This was not our usual mobile vet, as they are no longer available in our area, and unfortunately, the experience was disturbing from beginning to end. The day before the appointment, I asked if a vet tech would be coming along. In past visits, the tech has always been the one to handle tasks like weighing the cat, taking blood, and checking her eyes. I was told yes, but during the visit, after everything had already been done, the vet casually said it was the tech's first day with him. I don't understand why my request was even acknowledged if the tech wasn't properly trained. That alone was very unprofessional. What happened during the exam was far worse. I've never seen an animal handled the way my cat was. She was scruffed so tightly that she was screaming in pain, making sounds I've never heard from her before. She was poked over 20 times across four legs, which all had to be shaved. In all her previous vet visits, blood has never taken more than one or maybe even two attempts from a single leg. I repeatedly asked them not to hold her so hard, but my concerns were brushed off with half-hearted apologies while they continued handling her the same way. As a result, my cat was left with scabbing on all four legs and was clearly in pain and distress afterward. I believe this was due to poor technique and a lack of skill in accessing a vein. On top of that, my cat was not weighed at all. She is on thyroid medication that depends on accurate weight for proper dosing. Instead of weighing her, the vet asked me to estimate her weight, which is something I'm not qualified to do. It was careless and concerning that such a basic step was skipped. After the visit, I told the vet that what happened was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Rather than addressing my concerns, he dismissed them and insisted I was wrong in how I felt about the situation. To make everything even more uncomfortable, he asked to hug me at the end "because of the stress of the kitty." That request felt extremely inappropriate and left me feeling even more unsettled after what had just taken place. I was talked down to like I was some sort of child who can't handle their emotions. Truly disgusting. This was not just a disappointing visit. It was traumatizing to both me and my cat. She is still clearly shaken, in pain, and covered in scabs. I have never experienced anything like this with any vet before, and I hope this situation is reviewed. No pet should ever be treated this way. My cat is now passed and was taken care of by a mobile vet located in Plainfield to her very end. I would not wish my experience onto anyone else, especially now.

I ordered a bag of Merrick dog food in Jan-2023 that was expired and infested with bugs. I received a refund, which obviously is the absolute bare minimum that should be considered from a customer service perspective for a bag full of infested bugs. I was still left with the problem of going back out to purchase another bag from a physical location since I had to feed my dogs, so my expectation was to receive a heavily discounted/complimentary bag for the inconvenience. That doesn't sound unreasonable to me, and that small gesture would retain me as a repeat customer for years to come. The store manager finally offered a 10% discount, which is better than nothing, however I was disappointed at how it was handled and how she would not even look me in the eyes to communicate. I have reached out to corporate to see what can be done, if anything and will provide updates in the near future on the outcome. Many thanks to the cashier, Sarah for her assistance. The manager, in my opinion, could use additional training and improve on some basic soft skills in interacting with customers. Best, Charlie
