    Ladybug Said Hi
    AboveBeyond C.

I was highly impressed. My first time ever calling Mobile Veterinary. When I spoke with Dr. Z he responded very quickly to scheduled my American Pitbull (Ladybug). Ladybug was Barely eating & drinking and not actively. Dr. Z treated Ladybug with medication and ointment. On the same day Later that evening my Husband & I noticed a positive change in Ladybug behavior. Thank You Dr. Z! You're Amazing & Compassionate Vetnairy Doctor. BONUS for me you do Home visit which was a convenient for our family.

Thank you so much Dr.Z for everything you do. You have changed my girls life as well as ours. Your caring and understanding for our dog has been extraordinary! I would highly recommend Dr.Z

My 2 pups got into a fight and one was severely injured with a would on his chest, he wouldn't let me touch him plus he is 13 years old and has 2 torn ACLs in his back legs so getting him into the car was not going to be a option. I googled mobile vet and found Dr. Z. He was to my house within a half hour and treated him so well. I was so scared but he was so nice and professional, I really don't know what I would have done otherwise. My pets are my babies so I was nervous to not have my normal vet take care of him but no worries anymore. Much appreciated and so convenient!

I recently rescued a 22 month old Doberman that needed spayed. The rescue utilizes GEAH and was able to get her in much sooner than my own clinic, so I opted to spay at GEAH. What a wonderful experience! I was allowed to "upgrade" this dog's surgical experience but I don't think that was a big deal. Top Notch! I am more impressed with the overall quality of care she received. Sadly, I did not get to meet her surgeon, Dr. Mottel, but that was not their fault. I needed to drop off at 7a and DVM's do not come in until 8a and she was "too busy" to meet with us at pick up time. Regardless, no issues with the surgery and the incision was small and tight. Nice job!

Somehow the grand total after three different conversations ended up being at $700 roughly. There are places that do it for less than 200, and have just as great of care. Another issue I've had multiple times was when we've had to put our pets down we've been interrupted while saying goodbye to come make payment. I understand they probably get a lot of people who bring their animals into be put down and they refuse to pay because it's not like you can undo the euthanasia once you already do it but we had multiple pets who still went there and we still used them as our vet office & it's highly inappropriate IMO to interrupt the grieving family. this has happened with multiple pets of mine and i think your staff could use some extra training on bedside manner...

Very disappointing and concerning experience…read more After paying for extensive diagnostics, including lab work with clearly abnormal values, the primary focus of this clinic was repeatedly pushing an expensive prescription diet for a 8 lbs $78 bag of dog kibble, rather than addressing the actual medical findings or symptoms that brought us in. Requests for clarification and discussion of the lab abnormalities were met with defensiveness rather than explanation. Instead of offering a diagnostic plan or symptom management, the clinic defaulted to referral -- despite this being a condition that is routinely evaluated and treated by competent general practitioners. The doctor who called with Bella's lab results (who did not examine my dog in person), demonstrated extremely poor bedside manner during our phone conversation. The interaction felt condescending and non-collaborative. When I questioned the sole focus on diet and expressed concern that something systemic was being missed, the response became dismissive and increasingly defensive. Rather than engaging in a medical discussion, the recommendation was repeatedly pushed without addressing the underlying lab abnormalities. Unfortunately, the doctor that Bella did see in person, I did request for her to call me. This call was also disappointing. Her approach and tone differed significantly from the initial visit, once another doctor's plan had been established, and my concerns were minimized rather than explored. I left with the impression that questioning the initial recommendation was unwelcome, and that meaningful dialogue about next steps was not a priority. I was left feeling gaslit at the end of our conversation. The main issue with this call is that this doctor already knew before calling me, that Bella would not be patient she continues to manage care for. In her eyes Bella is "complex" even with very straightforward findings and clinical symptoms. I have ultimately already sought care elsewhere and was immediately met with thoughtful evaluation, clear communication, and an appropriate diagnostic plan for a Cushing work up, which is indicative of the lab findings from Wheaton Animal Hospital work up this week. This was all able to be done efficiently without confusion -- all at a "general animal hospital", without unnecessary referral to internal medicine. They do not see Bella's case as complex, at all. I left feeling that critical lab findings were minimized, my concerns were not heard, and my dog's comfort was not prioritized. I would not return, and I strongly recommend that pet owners seeking thorough, attentive medical care consider other options.

This location was fully remodeled a few years ago and it is so nice. It feels like it's a large house! It's very clean and there are even mini partitions to keep your dogs separate from each other in the lobby. We trust this vet, and after moving away from Lombard, we had such a bad vet experience somewhere else that we feel that this is the best vet in the area and will continue on coming here, even if it comes with more of a drive for us.

She has a history of severe arthritis and we wanted to see what we can do to make her comfortable and prolong her quality of life. She is on medication for this but we wanted to see what else we could do. For the moment we got there we were greeted by an assistant and then by Dr. Anders. We did not have to wait at all. We felt very welcome. Dr. Anders was so amazing with Roxy. Roxy can be really shy and become grumbly, but with Dr. Anders she was not shy at all. She warmed up to her fairly quickly. You can tell Dr.Andres loves what she does by the way she treats us and Roxy. She was so patient with Roxy throughout the whole process. She was also able to do a thorough exam with without pushing Roxy and make her apprehensive. With this consultation, we learned a lot of information about Roxy's such as her favoring one leg over the other, indicating a potential imbalance or discomfort. At the end of it all we were able to set up some sessions for therapy for Roxy. And we got information on some at home therapy we can do. Im so glad we have another way to help Roxy! I'm excited to see what the next month brings. I'm even more happy know that Roxy we treat with the utmost care at this visit!! Thank you!!

I brought bunny back the next day and this vet took no accountability for potentially be aggressive with bunny ears. First visit charged over $250 and I fought with them to in good faith refund or offer credit for ear drops I was now directed to stop using. This vet is only concerned with over charging. Next day they fought with me at front desk and was refusing to issue my credit for the meds that they agreed to credit because we didn't bring the meds back to them for the credit which is very odd because normally any other vet does not want you to bring Meds back for credit because legally, they cannot take the meds back. They were trying to get me to pay an additional $140 for next day check and we actually had to demand that they give us our bunny back. They were trying to not give us our bunny back because of the fact that they owed us a credit and would not give it to us without the medication in hand. My daughter had to drive all the way back home and then all the way back to give them back the eardrops in order for them to issue my credit and then all of a sudden they added an additional medication onto my bill, charging me over $90 After the credit, when they told me earlier that all I had to owe them for that next day visit was a little over $40. The bottom line is that this veterinary practice took no accountability whatsoever for creating an additional either inner ear, or neurological problem by the aggressive treatment to my bunny ears. I will never go back to this place and I hope that this is a message for those that might be using this vet for exotic pets in particular.
