One Dog At A Time - Best Dog Walker 2008

First, the fact that they literally stand by their name, One Dog At a Time, is the most comforting thing in the world to me... There's no pile of dogs waiting to jump all over my guy when they bring him out - there's no dragging the dog by the leash because the other dogs won't stop - there's no concern about whether he actually went to the bathroom or not - as Michelle and Claudia actually walk ONE DOG AT A TIME! That makes me and our boy so happy that the attention is on him, and not distracted by a bunch of other dogs. Second, is the fact that Michelle and Claudia are dog owners and truly dog lovers to the bone, I know that Sollie is getting love and attention, and he's not just another dog on their list of dogs. I drove by Ringgold park and saw Michelle sitting on a bench with Sollie, cuddling and massaging his face. Sollie's tail was thumping out a beat that could be heard across the park, and it made me smile from ear to ear to see my boy getting spoiled like that. So instead of worrying about your dog being walked as part of a mass pile of dogs, and instead of wondering if your dogs got a great walk where they were able to go to the bathroom and get some personal attention, leave all that behind and call Michelle and Claudia. The best dog walkers, hands down!!!

Great communication- daily text updates to let us know how the walk went and any issues that might have come up 3. Excellent web interface - the website allows for easy scheduling and weekly autopay options 4. Flexibility - We have a very dynamic work schedule, and Heather is extraordinarily accommodating with last minute changes and irregular days on a week-to-week basis Heather has been a huge blessing for our family, and we honestly don't know where we'd be without her. When we first rescued our dog, he was extremely nervous around strangers. Unfortunately, as a two-career household, we had to figure out a dogwalking situation that would work for him. We went through several dogwalking programs who flat out told us no and went so far as to make us feel as if there was something wrong with our dog for being so fearful. Heather, on the other hand, was a relief from the moment she walked in the door. She met our dog for about 15 minutes and was immediately confident that she could walk him. Her easygoing assuredness made us feel so much better about leaving him to go to work. Now he runs to meet her at the door and can't wait to go out with her. She's also been instrumental in bringing him out of his shell with other dogs - he has several friends through Heather that he walks with. Overall, Tails of Boston has been a tremendous benefit to our whole family, and we are so grateful to have Heather!

When you are crazy about your cat, like me and my wife definitely are, it is refreshing to know that someone like Heather is around. Our cat is on the needy side, and to come home after a long trip to see him happy and healthy is beyond comforting. You should book her without question. Ultimately with pet-sitters you are paying for peace of mind. You are paying to not worry. And you will never worry with this wonderful, incredible pet-sitter!

D'Tails Pet Boutique

D'Tails is an adorable little pet boutique- this review is for the location on Berkeley street…read more My small senior mutt comes to D'Tails for daycare during the week between 2 and 8 times per month. Originally, I selected them because of their convenient (for me) location, but I've become loyal to them for many other reasons. Let's go with three: 1. Flexibility. Daycare hours are pretty extensive (check their website for the most up to date information) - right now they are 7am-7pm. I usually find that the store is staffed before 7am, even. I like the flexibility of being able to drop in as needed and pick her up whenever is convenient for me on any given day. The cost of daycare (and any other purchases I make (just go right to my card on file. Easy! 2. Communication. Every day that I send my pup to daycare, I get text updates about what she's been up to, whether or not her potty break was "productive," and something nice like "have a great day!" 3. Kindness. After only a few visits, the staff quickly remembered my dog's name and they always welcome her (and me!) when I drop her off. I know that my dog is not without her quirks, but I've never heard anything but praise and love for her from the staff at D'Tails, which is just so sweet. They're all true animal lovers there who treat pets with compassion and pet owners with kindness. They are also a business that is very clear about their inclusivity- specifically very LGBTQ friendly. You can't put a price tag on all of that, but theirs is very reasonable! Again, check the website for the most up to date information but right now Daycare is $21-$36/day depending on the length of your pup's stay. Downstairs in the daycare space, there seems to be a setup for every type of dog. Crates for pups who like a comfy den-style nap, soft beds for rests, chairs for pups who want a great view of the rest, and floor space for playing. I also know that the staff is more than willing to cuddle with or hold your dog if that's what pup wants... like mine often does! The only constructive thing I could offer is that it does look pretty dingy down there, but I mean... it's a play room for dogs and it serves its purpose well! There are also lots of treats and goodies and adorable sweaters in the shop upstairs. Can't go wrong! I know that they also offer walking and grooming but I've not used those services. It feels so good to have a group of people- from Dawn the owner to the wonderful staff like Rachel, Kendra, Christiana, Mary and more - who I can trust to care for my beloved little mutt!

I…read morewanted a place with a groomer that I could trust, in an environment that's not too overwhelming for my already anxious dog. I was so happy with the job that Melissa did. Really fantastic. I dropped him off first thing in the morning and he was ready within an hour which was perfect. I tried Dog Bulter in the past but after 4 hours they called me to say that my dog is being aggressive. That was news to me, but it turned out that they had 25 other dogs roaming around at the same time. That explained the behavior. They were nice but not suitable for my dog. So I'm happy that I can take my dog to D'tails where the grooming is done more on a one on one basis. I found it a little too pricy but my dog seemd to had a better experience so I'm ok with that.

Jack Russells are notorious little crazed beasts, with an intense amount of energy. Having PITV as our walker has done wonders for Max. Elizabeth is his walker and is absolutely beyond phenomenal. She cares for Max as well as (or possibly better!) than we do. He's weird around other dogs, but she has worked closely with him and created an environment when he walks with ELEVEN other dogs in his group, without a hitch. Elizabeth sends us amazing pictures of Max every single time she walks him, and is excellent at communicating with us regarding his behavior (good and bad!). Paws in the 'Ville provides an absolute reliable, friendly service. We were brand-new dog owners when we started with them and Seana did everything we needed to assist us and created a huge level of trust. When we needed to switch walkers after one left PITV, Max had some issues transitioning - barking like crazy when a different walker came to get him and refusing to go with them. Seana worked closely with us until she found Elizabeth to work with Max. We felt completely supported throughout. I can honestly say that PITV is absolutely the best bang for the buck. It's beyond worth every penny we spend to know that Max is in extremely capable hands. Great communication, great community, great owner, great walkers. I can't say enough good things about this company.
