Top pizza: Margherita Bottom pizza: Hawaiian Broccolini salad
    Nicole H.

Really cool modern interior but terrible service and mediocre food. The wait for pizza on a Sunday night at 6pm was a little more than 1 hour. We thought it would be worth it but were sadly disappointed. Instead of having a private table to our own (we saw a few open tables), we were sat at the end of a long table...in the middle of a huge party. Why did our waitress choose to place us in the middle of a large party (in which people were talking over us and constantly bumping into us)? We're not sure. The mango margaritas here were delicious but not strong at all haha (and made of vodka instead of tequila). The pizza was pretty plain. The Margherita pizza came with rocket (arugula) instead of basil. The Hawaiian tasted pretty similar. Aside from the pizzas, the broccolini salad was good! We weren't a huge fan of the fried cheese in the salad but enjoyed the greens and the balsamic dressing. The servers here also weren't as friendly nor polite as we would've hoped for. Overall three stars. Was average. Wouldn't come back!

    Watermelon mint feta cheese salad

What an amazing restaurant ! Before going sky diving by Wanaka lake we decided to stop at this place because it looked appealing from outside. I ordered the berry smoothie and my husband got the mango smoothie (All real fruit). We also got a watermelon mint salad. Make sure to order this salad. Absolutely delicious. The customer service was great and the atmosphere was super friendly. If ever in the area I will definitely stop by here again.

Enjoyed the 2 for 1 pizza deal (with purchase of 2 alcoholic beverages)! Delicious pizza--just ate the leftovers for breakfast!

I think this was my favourite part of the meal - We had a side salad of rocket, pear, walnuts and blue cheese.

    Dominos - GREAT

Ok, when you see a Dominos (well, if you're from the U.S.), you may not typically think "Great…read morelunch option!" This is partly because it's not always a bargain, at least not in Hawaii (where we live). But when we were on the search to feed our 7 year old twins and spied a familiar pizza spot on the horizon, the dynamic duo decided that they "had" to have pizza for lunch, especially since the other option in consideration (by mom and dad) was fish 'n chips. We walked in, were immediately welcomed and explained how the two different menu options worked (one for take out and one for eat in). Hell, I wasn't even considering an "eat in" option since there wasn't a dining room in sight. I conveyed this to the Mrs. and she was like whatever gets these kids fed. So I settled the family in the dining area (upstairs) and headed back down to do the ordering. Looking at the prices for a pie ($5 NZD), I figured that these pizzas must be of the "personal pan" variety, ya know, a mini pizza for one. So I ordered a cheese pizza for each of the girls, a veggie for my bride and a Italian sausage (which wound up being much different than I was expecting, more a hot dog taste to me) for me. Since we need fluids, I ordered the 1.5L soda and garlic bread as well. Grand total: $25 NZD! WHAT!?!? That's about $17 USD . . . I could NEVER feed a family of 4 in Honolulu for that. Bargain! After 10 minutes or so, we were notified via a monitor upstairs that our order was complete. I headed downstairs and this dude was standing there with 4 MEDIUM sized pizzas. I verified that this was my order and, surprisingly, he nodded . . . why, yes it is. Shocked, I grabbed the pies, soda and bread, and headed upstairs. My wife saw the full sized pizzas and the look on her face said it all: guess we're having pizza for dinner, too. The service was fantastic and efficient. The store was exceptionally clean. There was a customer restroom. The price was RIGHT - a medium size pizza for $3.40!!! Thank you Dominos New Zealand.

We enjoyed a nice evening out at Cinema Paradiso. Cool vibes with good pizza and brews. Definitely…read morerecommend ordering the fresh baked cookie for half time (intermission). Two thumbs up!

Cinema Paradiso is a cool throwback to the drive in days. It's a popular spot so make sure you drop…read morein or call to reserve your tickets in advance. There's only three theatre rooms. Pretty dope that you can bring food and drinks into the theatre. We dropped in earlier during the day and bought tickets for the last show of the night. It's $15.00 NZD/ticket for adults. There's an intermission halfway through the movie (15 minutes) to grab cookies and drinks. Everyone comes here for the comfy couches and cars to sit in. It's a fun spot with a cafe inside. There's drinks (beer, wine, cider, coffee and tea), popcorn and pastries available. Their speciality is homemade ice cream ($4.50 NZD) and cookies ($4.00 NZD, three kinds). Cool that they also have a few board games to keep you entertained. We came back to eat dinner. The menu is small but there's pizza, snacks, salads and burgers. We shared two dishes. - Lamb burger ($16.00 NZD) - lamb was excellent; cooked perfectly and had a great spice rub. We also liked the beets and cabbage slaw along with the bun. - Spinach ravioli ($15.00 NZD) - won't blow you away but it was a solid ravioli. Great spot to watch a movie on a rainy day. Food is pretty solid too.
