Beautiful view of the water and of the planes descending over the water to land at the nearby airport. You can see and taste the freshness in everything you eat. The food at Frankton Arm Tavern is no exception. We had the cheesy bacon fries, chicken wings, and kids mac and cheese (of course). EVERYTHING was delicious - especially the wings. They were perfectly cooked with a thick, sticky, sweet, bbq sauce on top (a little tang would have been nice, but they were delicious none the less). The girls, unfortunately, didn't like the mac and cheese. Unfortunately (for them) the cheese wasn't cheddar (or processed cheddar), maybe edam instead, and it was flavored with herbs and cumin. The poutine, while used mozzarella instead of cheese curds, was our favorite and would just come here to order a few orders of that. We also got a flight to share to try some local brews including 3 sours, 1 ginger beer, 1 cider, and 1 lemonade. They were all good and I especially liked the ginger beer on the menu. The alcoholic lemonade was also quite nice and better than any alcoholic lemonades I've had in the states.
