The cleaning job was excellent and thorough, and the carpets aren't scented or tacky from remaining fluid (which I've found with some other vendors). He also cleaned the baseboards, which was great. He is very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Overall a very positive experience. I highly recommend the service.

Tile Scale Removal Service…read more I was referred to Mike and his company by a local pool store. I called Mike to get a quote for waterline tile scale removal. I tried several methods to remove it myself to no avail. Mike responded quickly with a very reasonable quote, less than I expected. Bobby came out a few days later to perform the service. Avalon uses glass bead blasting which made quick work of the scale. There was no damage and no signs of scale. Bobby did a great job of cleaning up the mess left behind by the process. The entire job took less than 3 hours. Mike and Bobby take pride in their work and value customer service. I highly recommend Avalon for tile scale removal.

We had reached out to Mike for our deco-seal/pool tile cleaning by way of referral (This is our…read morefirst pool). Mike showed up on schedule, had a good experience with him before he left our home he gave us estimates for several services we wanted done to our pool. We called and scheduled a date and time for deco-seal to be done. We planned to have everything done on the list of quotes, but decided to go with the deco-seal first. At no time was it explained that there was a process or order that they should be done in. Fast forward to when Bobby shows up, and I let him know that we were happy to get this done and explained that we were going to get the tile cleaning done, which was next on our list. He seemed noticeably confused and agitated and as this is out of the normal way of doing things, as he explained to me the deco-seal should not be done first. So this is kind of where it went south for me. He just seemed bothered that there is/was a change of what he was there to do. At NO time was this explained beforehand to me and not being a pool "EXPERT" how would I know that there is an order that it is supposed to go in. I called Mike and let him know that Bobby advised not to do the deco-seal first and so we were all in agreement to do the tile cleaning on that day. I let Bobby do his work and only asked him " One" time how it was going but he seemed very short with his answers so I let him be. I asked him we wanted some brick around the fountain cleaned since he was here and it was on the list of quotes to do. It was only a small area, he explained that bricks to be cleaned had a finish look and it was possible there could be some risk but would stop immediately if he noticed any damaged to brick was occurring. So he let me know as he says right away that he only damaged one brick as it turned 3 were a blackish color! Now I have to replace 3 bricks! I really hate to be lied to and here you have it. Bottom line he was rude with me and ALSO my wife who just had some reasonable questions. His condescending attitude, was his downfall which I told Mike, paints his company in a bad light. As veteran myself, since Mike is also a veteran I reached out to him to give him business on the other projects going forward but wanted no part because Bobby was uncomfortable what a joke! For what I have no idea! If anything my wife and myself were made to feel uncomfortable, but again we are the BIGGER people here trying to give Mike business when in fact we should have just said no more! Based on my experience I will NOT recommend this company as it does not treat its customers who are the ones keeping them in business!

Robert and his team did a good job, and the floors and baseboards look great. They took care with our furnishings as they worked from room to room. Fast forward to August 14th. Shop local and support local…read more Our experience with A&M Carpets was outstanding from start to finish. The team made what could have been an overwhelming project feel easy, well-organized, and genuinely well supported. When we first walked into the store, Donna introduced herself, explained the layout, and took the time to ask thoughtful questions about our project, our vision, and what we did and didn't want. Her guidance helped us consider options we might not have looked at otherwise. When we returned to place the order, Cecilia was just as helpful. She tracked down everything we needed, coordinated with a vendor across the country, and made sure we had the right quantity of materials, including underlayment and transition pieces. She also sent the contract details and estimated timeline promptly, exactly as promised. When the materials arrived on time, we ran into a transportation and timing issue. Dave stepped in quickly and arranged delivery to our home, resolving the problem within two days. The materials are excellent, but what stood out even more was the service. Donna, Cecilia, and Dave were knowledgeable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Thank you to the entire A&M Carpets team for such a positive experience.
