I should note that our home is off-grid permanently. it's not a backup for when the power goes out. there is no electric grid in our community. do not do business with Eric Helgeson. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

We have had the flat part of the ceiling leak EVERY YEAR since they fixed it. We call, they schedule us, someone comes weeks later and they say they "fixed" it but then next time it rains it leaks again. They blamed our vents so we were stupid enough to pay these people to remove the vents because we didn't want to void the warranty by having someone else do it and guess what? Now the roof leaks in DIFFERENT parts. Worse part is that now we're starting to see STAINS on the ceiling from WATER DAMAGE. The last guy said it doesn't affect the integrity of the roof but he found wet spots THROUGHOUT the ceiling 2 weeks AFTER the rain. I have a toddler in here and they want to claim that a ceiling that is still wet after 2 weeks of no rain is safe??? I just HOPE that there is no mold, mildew, it wood rot in between these layers of wet wood! My husband has been calling and they are giving him the run around about scheduling someone to come. I tried calling and when they did call back they called to say they had no updates on when someone could assess the roof further. I have written a review in the past about our issues with the install and the first leaks, it's lost in all the other complaints they have about leaking roofs. If you still are on the fence about using this company you can read all of those and save yourself the trouble we didn't. Avoid them!
