They deserve no star. We bought a ticket, got on their car, went to the riverside, then an impolite man came into the bus and said we don't have any tube to give you, you should either wait for few hours or get back to the main office where you departed. The way that they treated us was somewhat inappropriate. They shouldn't sell ticket when they don't have equipment and even when they mismanage they can recover that with treating good. If you are going to go tubing, do yourself a favor and drive further north. While tubing from this location seems convenient, this area of the river is completely shallow, rocky, and not relaxing. I went with four friends. The employees were very young and lackadaisical. I am not blaming them for the state of the river, but they should have equipped us with oars and at least prepped us on the very rocky ride and how shallow the water would be on the river. They basically took our money, gave us the tubes, and sent us on our way. There are three tubing outfits that work from this location, so the river is overcrowded and we ended up hitting into many other parties during our ride. Our goal was to chill and float as we had before on our tubing trips, but we ended up getting stuck on rocks for most of the time. When I tried to move off a rock during one of the many occasions where we got stuck, I ended up hitting my knee against a sharp rock and bled. Again, oars would have been helpful. When we arrived at the platform, the young guy who worked for the outfit just stood there and didn't assist the Urban Currents customers trying to get up on the platform, etc. and he didn't direct us towards to shuttle ride. There should be an option for 0 star. Wow 40 minutes after our appointment time, no shuttle bus showed up. There were about 20 people waiting so we all took turn to call and see what's going on. The guy who took the call was such an arrogant jerk! It's your fault that the bus was late so don't be a smart a$$ with your customers. How do you still have a business with that kind of attitude and terrible organization?!? One of his incredibly rude and pathetic comment was "you can reschedule if you want. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE OTHER COMPANIES AVAILABLE THAT WON'T PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK!!!! I purchased a Tubing Adventure through Living Social who had contracted with this company. I found the tubing to be a horrible experience. It was very very unorganized. They asked us to bring drinks, towels, etc but there was nowhere to place these things. The staff wouldn't provide us with a strap to tie our tubes together. The process of actually getting into the tubes was very unorganized. We were basically given tubes and left to our own devices. No one was in the water with us. We had no direction on where we were supposed to be going. I ended up getting out at the midpoint of the tour (which I thought was the end) because everyone had stopped. As I was attempting to get out of my tube without any assistance (because there was none available) I lost my water shoe, slipped on a rock, possibly broke my toe and nearly drowned! My tube floated away so by the time I realized that was not the end of the tour it was too late for me & my partner to try to get back on the water. We had to hike through the forest and then up the street (in swimsuits, life vests, and one shoe). We had NOTHING. No cell phones or guidance. Luckily a kind stranger allowed us to use his phone and after calling Urban Currents (or whatever it's else called) several times back to back we finally reached Chuck and he had a horrible attitude but did finally agree to send someone to pick us up. When we finally arrived to the end point NO asked me if I was okay. They didn't ask if I was injured or what happened to me. No questions were given about my welfare however a woman from Urban (whatever it's called) immediately came up to me YELLING at me about my lost tube! I am not a violent person but if I was, I would've slapped her. How dare she YELL at me about paying for a tube when I'm standing there soaking wet in a bikini with a broken toe? Seriously?! I informed her that as she could CLEARLY see I didn't have a wallet or anything else on me and would not be able to pay for the stupid tube until I was taken to my car! Then she told me that if I didn't pay for the tube ($20) right at that moment then she would file charges on me!!! Seriously?! These people are crazy. I guess she wanted me to just reach in my a** and pull out $20 bucks?? Like seriously...where was I supposed to get the money when I was instructed to leave everything in my car. So me and my friend boarded the Urban Currents bus to be taken back to the parking area where my vehicle (and purse) was. Chuck of Urban Currents comes along and tells the driver to get us off the because we can't ride his bus and that we should walk back (an hour walk BTW) since we hadn't paid for the lost tube. Keep in mind I NEVER once said that I wouldn't pay for the tube. I said that I could not pay for it until I got to my car since I obviously didn't have a wallet stashed in my bikini! At that point Gina of Living Social, intervened and said to us that Chuck is basically a lunatic who treats his customers like crap all of the time. She advised that we should not speak with him further. She drove us back to my car in which I promptly gave her the $20 without any further incident. Did anyone give a damn that my toe is broken? Apparently not, but as long as they got their $20 I guess all is well. From what I understand Urban Currents has had multiple complaints about this "Chuck" person and unless Living Social wants to go down in flames along with him I would suggest that they not do any further business with him! The whole experience was a nightmare. And for the record, I have tubed before. I've gone in Jamiaca and the experience was much more safe & organized! I don't know how a 3rd world country is able to provide a safer experience than what I got in my own city! Go figure... read more

Unbelievable! Avoid this company at all costs! Four of us were planning on spending an afternoon kayaking the river because we purchased a groupon and we both took half days off work to do it!! I made a reservation through (their badly written and badly programmed) online reservation system. I wanted to confirm and tried calling them over and over the week before we were going to get on the river. Their voicemail was always full and they never returned the call. We showed up anyway and waited at the location and nobody came. I tried calling all day during business hours the day of and NOTHING. So I just wasted a half day, the company doesn't give a crap about me, their customer, and I will need to talk to groupon about a refund. I should have read all the other awful reviews on here. I wish we had read the yelp reviews before doing business with this company. Every one star review on here is spot on. The owner was a complete jerk. He treated his employees terribly! And we mean he was "the absolute worst"! He berated them constantly in front of everyone and used very strong curse words in front of my young boys. The three college kids that were working for him were extremely nice, polite and helpful. My only hope for them is that they got fired. That way they will not have to deal with this guy any longer. LOL. We used a Half Off Depot coupon for a five hour trip down the river and we ended up getting a one hour trip. These guys are horrible. Chuck...or, Charles A. is a complete jacka**. There are two spots to put in for this trip down the river and the wife and I have never done the trip before so we assumed the first one was it. Of course, the college kid that checked us in NEVER told us. Never. So, 10 minutes down the river it comes to a dead end under an over-pass with debris and crap everywhere. The wife and I decided to paddle upstream, about 10 minutes, to the put in. Once there and after a fantastic shoulder workout we walked to the trail that dead ended and put in there. Now, we're both fairly intelligent adults and sure, the trail dead ends to the actual put in and once you see it you're like "yeah, this is obviously it." However, no signage, no instructions how the hell did we know, right? We had a fun time down the river but my wife decided to give them a call and offer some suggestions. We never call to complain about anything. Ever. We did the deal on Living Social so we only paid half, but still. This dude Chuck was 100% sarcastic to my wife, told her to put her "big girl panties" on and hung up on her. Then I called, tried to calmly tell him I have been in customer service for 10+ years, worked as a guide out west and wanted to calmly talk to him about our experience. Sadly, he hung up on me too. The company is a mess. I've done the kayaking 2x now, meeting at the Vinings launch. Both times, it took FOREVER for the buses to arrive and get everyone checked in. The first time, the bus broke down on the highway exit. One of the employees snapped at another as they're unloading the kayaks, making for an awkward experience for the customers. The second time, this past Saturday, they overbooked and 3 people got screwed out of going. There was a tubing trip from this company that was waiting for 50 min for a bus to arrive to take them back to their cars. Bottom line - logistics is not their thing. Once you're on the river, it's nice. This is a laid-back kayak trip, if you're looking for rapids, go farther up north. But the good river experience is despite the company's sloppy business practices. Look elsewhere. Groupon shoppers, I suppose you're getting what you pay for here. read more

I wish I had could rate this company with zero stars because that's exactly what they deserve. My sister (Becca F) wrote a review already so I was a part of that horrific experience. So please read her review so you understand where a lot of this comes from. I would like to add that we spoke with a girl on our bus back and she had used this company the day prior and said that it wasn't that bad. So maybe once in awhile everything works out for some one.... I'm shocked! I would also like to add that after waiting 40 minutes to be picked up they sent one guy and girl to load everything up and since they refused to come pick up a smaller group they then had to load up all the kayaks and rafts before we left which of course took another 10-15 mins. My brother in law was so motivated to finally leave that he was down there helping them! After experiencing all of this we kinda kicked ourselves for not reading the reviews prior to purchasing the groupon. I guess we assumed it would be pretty difficult to mess up a basic tubing trip. I wish we had the reviews before we bought our Groupons but hindsight is 20/20. We went as a small group, 2 adults and 3 children aged 7 and under. I read the reviews while I was waiting for them to take us to the drop off point. Actually all went well till the end. I wish their web site gave a bit more info like: 1. paddles $2 each ( we didn't get the paddles but should have. It would have helped with steering and getting around rocks. 2. Cooler raft $15 The young man who dropped us off gave clear & good instructions. There was a young man who was at the ramp at the end who helped us get out & helped us carry our rafts. So far so good. ( no one was there for all the other groups who finished, that was just good timing for us) We were the first of our bus load to finish. The guy who helped us left. We waited. Another group finished. We waited. Another group finished. Someone called the office,they said 5 minutes. We waited ( this is with 3 small children in 90 degree weather) A girl from UC showed up but not to pick us up. we talked to her, she called the owner, he didn't believe how long we had been waiting. We tried calling the office again & no answer. The end result is the we waited close to 2 hours to get a ride back to our cars. The driver apologized and gave us reasons for the wait, but not answering the phone when you have people on the river & waiting longer then 30 minutes is not acceptable ever! The owner should have done more to make this right. It's a shame since we had a really good time up to that point. If we didn't have the kid's we could have walked back since it was only 3 miles. I read all these horrible reviews and I was nervous about going, but now I'm glad I did. This place was awesome! When we got there we signed the waver and immediately got on the bus and taken to the starting spot. The kayaking ride was amazing and the company completely prepared us for the ride. We were told on the way there that one bus returns us back so we might have to wait on the bus. There was NO WAIT! Yes the bus was small but the driver took back roads so we didn't have to be on the highway standing up. The only thing I would change is I would have brought some snacks because it was a good 2 to 3 hour ride! Happy customer! My friends and I will definitely Return, thanks Urban Current! read more

Kayak trip at 9am today - arrived at 8:40, and no one is there. 9:06 Chris, stating he is a manager, arrives and shares he has no idea where his employee is and maybe he went to get breakfast? Six of us have gathered by this time. Bonus - NO RESTROOMS! Chris then explains that we would have to wait an additional 45 minutes for a group of 17 kids to show. That put launch at 10am? Our family of 4, 2 adults 2 teenage girls, enjoyed our Groupon half off trip down the 'hooch today. After a 2 hour delay departing due to PARK RANGERS not letting anyone on the waters due to swift and high waters we were given a raft, life vests, paddles and VERY CLEAR instructions on where our route would take us down the river, when and how to exit. We were one of about 8-9 groups that were all equally helped to carry their rafts to the water and get in and on their way. I do not understand how ANYONE can miss the boat ramp to exit. 2 LARGE signs, 200 yards after you pass under I75 and a concrete boat ramp that is 2 car lengths wide certainly stands out in the kudzu! Were you people leaving nasty reviews too drunk to see it?!? and there was an employee from UCurrents waving his arms in the air, waving the rafts in like an air traffic controller. Bus pick up back to our launch was about 20 minutes. I am giving 4 out of 5 because the check in process could have been a bit more organized, but the guy in charge was training 3 guys on how to do everything from checking waivers, running credit cards and getting everyone life jackets and equipment. read more

Greetings All: I recently purchased a groupon for my girlfriends and me to enjoy a canoeing trip. I have since reached out to groupon to receive a full refund. I have been using groupon for awhile and love it...which is why I am highly disappointed with the lack of customer service that I have received from Urban Currents. I am shocked at the level unprofessionalism Urban Currents has displayed. Please note for the past week and a half I have reached out to Urban Currents to book the reservation. 1. I have left multiple vm messages. I will say after I heard the VM that was the first red flag as it seemed like someones personal cell and the person speaking just did not sound professional. 2. On the number listed on the website the person tells you to call another number as they are "probably out on the river". *today I went by the river pick up location to see...there was no one there. I also went by the office address which seems not to be valid or does not exist. 3. I have also e-mailed this company with no response to date. I would be highly upset like the other people if I had showed up and no one was there. I read the below reviews that some people actually took off work and no one showed up...this is completely unacceptable. I would report this company to the better business bureau if I were you. Lastly this is the first review that I have written...because it was this bad so I wanted to take time out of my schedule to warn anyone else that may be contemplating booking with them. I wish I could rate them O stars but felt the need to express my discontent about this organization. My friend bought the Goupon and didn't look at reviews....Big Mistake if you don't. Here was our experience: 1. We reserved a kayaking trip on a Friday and when we showed up for our time the rude girl (Heather) said....."Oh yeah, we canceled the trip because the bus broke down." They didn't even call us to let us know. So we rescheduled for Tuesday this week. (Mistake #2) 2. We showed up 30 min. ahead of time to sign in and they were not there and didn't answer the phone. The sign on the door said they would be right back. Yeah right......ONE HOUR later. There were several people waiting outside to sign in and if the driver had been one more minute later I would have left. 3. This is where the fun begins. The employees acted put-out that we were even there. We checked in and then they said, we have to go pick up a group and load the bus then will be back. 30 Min. later. Then we were off to the river. 4. Once at the river it was better because we were on our own for 2.5 hours on the water. Very nice trip, then when we landed were we were suppose to be picked up. NO one was there. The tubes, and kayaks were just piled up in a big mess. We made friends with another couple and hung out. We called and no one answered. Then a U-haul showed up from the company to pick up the equipment but no bus. I asked if they had a radio to call and let the office know we needed to be picked up. The response was. "YEAH they know". Well when, I asked? "Don't know..... but it is probably traffic." AN HOUR later from the time we landed the bus showed up. 5. We waited until they loaded the Kayaks on a trailer and ores that were thrown inside the bus leaving only 2 seats to sit. Then while I was standing the bus jumped forward, nearly landing me on my friend. She yelled thanks for letting us know we were moving. The bus will littered with Coors Lite beer cans, trash and empty bottles in the front , dirty and the driver had an attitude. He kept telling our host Heather that it was "not his problem and he should have been off work 3 hrs ago." He had other commitments. So sorry he had to pick up the customers who paid. GEEZ. 6. Then when we finally got back to our cars, there was no "Thanks for using Urban Currents, have a great evening and come again." NO, it was, "Ya got your stuff," and then they just left. We were like this is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever seen. I'm surprised that with the I don't care attitude of the employees that they are still in business. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. What a mess! These guys are totally disorganized, understaffed, without any sense of urgency and generally without a clue. Our event was scheduled to depart from their office at 9:00 on a Monday. We showed up about half an hour early to make sure everything was ready for a timely departure. Unfortunately, no one from the company showed up until about 5 after 9. Then we had to wait until the 'right' guy showed up so he could open the office (another 5 minutes or so). Finally, around 10:15, they had both the buses running and were ready to head out to the river. We asked about how they would be handling returning guests to the office (and their cars) and were promised that they would have 4 buses running at all times to minimize the amount of wait time at the end of the trip. Lies... We finally arrive at the put in point and the 'guides' proceed to stand around and make small chat with each other. Finally, several of the kayakers started taking the kayaks off the trailers themselves and began staging them near the water. Somehow, Urban Currents had managed to show up with less Kayaks than people, so two of the guests were just out of luck and had to head back to the office instead of kayaking. As far as the equipment goes, half of the stuff it adult sized and half of it is made for children. If you are an adult and you get a kid's sized kayak, too bad. Enjoy working really hard for very little progress. But, the kayaks did float, so they get points for that. After arriving at the take-out point we were met with a very angry group of our fellow kayakers, several of who had been waiting for over an hour. That whole thing about 4 buses running all day long? Never happened. We tried calling UC several times, but they wisely refused to answer. Something tells me they are used to this routine and have learned long ago not to answer the phone while a group is on the river. The girl who was sent to take us back to the office told us that she didn't know the route back, and was stuck using Google maps on her cell phone while driving. I used this company after finding a groupon that made it much cheaper than the alternatives of buying my own tubes or renting from some place else. I immediately understood why they needed to advertise using coupons - they are completely unorganized and the money saved was not worth the inconvenience of driving to some small office park off the river, waiting 30+ minutes for the shuttle to arrive, CRAM as many people as possible in to a potentially unsafe mini bus, get shuttled to the river, then wait in another unorganized line for a tube. We also rented a cooler tube which our cooler almost fell out of on the river. If you are interested in floating I would spend the 15-20 bucks on your own tube and coordinate with a friend to have a car at the bottom of the river. I would not mess with any of these tube rental companies. read more

This outfitter is a disorganized mess. The employees were nice and trying their best to keep up, but it was clear that they were working with one hand tied behind their backs. The owner wasn't in because it was the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, but it doesn't seem like him being there would have helped things. The logistical problems are all detailed in the other reviews. Additionally, the cooler tube consists of a regular tube with the bottom plugged up with mesh, not the most secure option. The Chattahoochee is as great as advertised however. My friends and I had a blast. If you must rent from this company come with a cooler full of food and drink and A LOT of patience. read more

We used this company to go tubing yesterday and they tried to give our group of 7 adults youth-sized life vests that were meant for people less than 90 lbs. The kid who gave us the life vests told us it would be fine that we really didn't even have to wear them. We walked all the way down to the river and the park rangers stopped us and told us we weren't allowed to go tubing with those life vests. The park ranger carried all 7 life vests back up to where we picked up our tubes and reprimanded the owner. The owner said that they didn't have any adult life vests left, that we would have to wait for the next shuttle to return in 30 minutes. The owner was extremely rude to us and lied to the park ranger, telling him that he didn't know how that happened. The owner told us he would give us our money back, but we had already waited for an hour and didn't want to waste extra time renting from someone else. The shuttle finally arrived and we did have a great time tubing on the river, but the owner was so rude I will never rent from them again or recommend them to anyone else. read more

I would never use this company again. We found the staff (or should I say the owner) to be very un-friendly and downright rude. When I called the day after our trip to provide some feedback to the owner of the bad customer service and rude comments that were made to our group by his staff, I was informed that it was informed by the Chuck (the owner) that it was actually him that made those comments. He said he remembered my group because we were the ones who used the living social half price vouchers for our trip. I replied, "Is that the reason why you were rude to us?" He said "no". The only apology he offered (after I prompted him for some sort of remediation) was that he was sorry that I was bothered by what he said. Don't use this company!! Terrible customer service! No one ever answers the phone to answer any questions. We were supposed to leave at 2pm and didn't leave until 3pm. Then they tried to cram way too many people on a short bus and the driver was texting and driving and looking back instead of on the road. After we were finished there were so many people waiting that it took 3 buses (short) and we still couldn't fit. We had to carry our own kayaks to and from the river. We have been on a few kayaking/rafting trips on the Chattahoochee and our experience could not have been worse. The owner was the biggest jerk I have seen. He clearly has no idea how to treat his customers and employees. He is highly disorganized and thinks that everyone knows his way of going about doing business. The day we went rafting, the river was flowing too fast and was too high and we got delayed. We did not know it and when we went to ask he was like "stop bothering me. If you keep asking, you will not be able to go on the river". He was making it sound like the river level would go down if we didn't ask him what was going on. All the employees are great - very friendly and helpful but the owner, what ever his name is, better learn how to do business because it wont be long before he loses customers and employees with this terrible attitude. read more

Chuck cancelled on our group of 4 twice, and I warn anyone else to beware -- especially using coupons. The first time he cancelled because he thought it would rain (which it did, briefly -- but he'd disagree with me here.) Then, my group rescheduled for two months out. Three days before our rescheduled booking, Chuck left me a message saying he'd been offered a 10-day gig out of state and was canceling for that reason and "because you're the only group I have scheduled for that weekend." When I called and left a message asking him how he was going to make things right for our group, he told me it would have rained anyway and was getting too cold to raft. On the phone he was highly defensive and unprofessional. He did offer to let us use our coupon the next season, but had no good answer when I asked him what would stop him from canceling on us again. By this point, I didn't even want to deal with him. All four of us had already planned to take a personal day off work for our rafting trip. Now that means we've lost money with this business and also income. My husband runs a business and goes out of his way to make sure customers are taken care of if he has to cancel. Chuck, not so much. I wouldn't touch this company again with a ten-foot pole. read more

Horrible time on this river. We were repeatedly stuck on rocks and had no paddle or any way to dislodge ourselves. The bottom had very irregular, slippery rocks. We had several slip and falls and two snake encounters, with one swimming directly towards us. We ended up being rescued by the park service. UC was okay, but they really should have recommended paddles, and configured our tubes in way that made it more difficult to get through the rocks (triangle). Do yourself a favor and avoid this company! It is completely mismanaged. We visited Saturday, 9/7/13, and had to wait in line for one hour (in the sun) to get checked in. Some of the poor folks at the back of the line were turned away even though they had reservations. The company had only one employee, who signed everyone in, drove the bus to the origination point, AND unloaded the oars, the life vests, and the kayaks one.....at......a.......time. Our trip was scheduled for 2 PM, but we didn't get into a kayak until 4:15! That's inexcusable. The Chattahoochee River is beautiful for kids and adults alike, so no complaint there. Just find another company to do a tube float or kayak trip. read more

Awful business. Don't plan your next outdoor water activity with Urban Currents. They will fail to pick you up from the river so you have to get a taxi back. Do not leave your personal keys with them either in their office. They will close and lock the door before dark and never return your keys to you. Urban Currents mailbox is always full and won't answer the phone. Plan your summer activity with a different business. Tried to be patient and willing to work with Urban Currents but now I'm keyless and out hundreds of dollars. Save your time and avoid! read more

We went kayaking with Urban Currents yesterday. We had a Groupon for the trip which is really the only time I would recommend choosing this company over others. My main and only complaint was the amount of time it took between arriving and actually getting into the water. We checked in at 2:00 and did not get into the water until about 3:30. That is INSANE! You meet at the take-out point of the river and then get shuttled up to where you launch. This company has everyone scheduled for the same time so when you arrive so will about 20 other people. You then all must sign release forms (they had 2 pens for everyone to use), pay $1 a person for your "river fee" (whatever that is), get life vests, hear a safety talk, wait while they load up all the kayaks and gear and then get shuttled up to where the launch is. When you are loading the buses for the launch GET IN THE BUS WITH THE KAYAKS ATTACHED. We got into the other bus. Unbeknownst to us there were also tubers on our bus who had to be dropped off at a different launch point. Seriously, these are the oldest buses ever and you are really not going to want the extra freeway time in one of them (seated or standing...since there weren't enough seats for everyone). Safetywise, I think this company is fine (besides the scary bus rides). They gave us a safety talk before the trip and also thoroughly explained how to know when we are getting to the end of the kayaking trip. From other reviews it sounds like people have missed the launch point - which I understand can happen - but I really wouldn't worry about it. There are two large signs and it is right after the third bridge. Plus the river at that point (depending on the level) is very low so you can literally just hop out of the boat and be in ankle deep water. The Chattahoochee is great, and the equipment from this company is comparable to others on the river. If you have a coupon I'd say go for it. Otherwise I'd pick a company like High Country Outfitters that will give you a bit more polished experience. read more

I too was at the Living Social event and Stacey H. is not exaggerating the events...Again Gina with LivingSocial to the rescue or we would of been abandoned and stranded by the insensitive lunatic "Chuck". Again, paying the $20 was not an issue and Living Social needs to dump this vendor. I heard from other friends that going to other tubing events were worth their time but this one was not. read more

The owner of this company, Chuck, is a tyrant! He treats his employees and customers terribly. After waiting for an hour, I was close to tears at how he berated his employees. I have honestly never seen anything like this. I am in shock that he even has anyone working for him. After getting off of the river, Chuck got in my husband's face and screamed because his tube was dragging the ground. Awesome way to get repeat business. After waiting for an hour and a half for the shuttle bus to come and get us we debated getting a taxi to pick us up. Thankfully we did not have to do so because the nice gentlemen from another rafting company offered to take us back. When we got back, Chuck was there with the shuttle bus and 2 cop cars. No telling what happened or what time he actually went to pick up his other customers. I will never ever rent from this company again. Please use your money to rent from High Country or Shoot the Hooch. read more

I was so nervous from buying a Groupon without reading the reviews. I thought we were in for the trip from hell.... but decided to chance it anyway. Heck, I was already $76 bucks in.... so why not. We had a group of four this weekend. We too had a 2 hour delay departing due swift and high waters.. There is nothing this organization can do about that!!! The riverkeeper has to let water out of Lake Lanier... so Urban Currents has to wait to let anyone down the river until it is safe. You have to understand that going in.... you may have to wait this year due to extra rain. We were also given very clear instructions on where our route would take us down the river, when and how to exit. We then got on the bus to the drop off area.... and kayaked down the river to the lot where we began. They did have an employee at the end sitting in a chair, waiving us in. I too will give 4 out of 5 because I feel the check in could have been a little more organized. And I wasn't too keen on the wait.... I feel there could have been a line on the website, warning of such delays. Overall, we had a great time. I don't know what these other people experienced... but we really enjoyed ourselves. very uninformed staff and not eager to assist (except for Ben). Office staff couldn't answer questions about location at park (address, amenities). We waited about an hour at the office waiting for the bus after we made reservations for noon. Once we arrived at the park location, it took another 25-30 min to get our tubes. After we finished tubing we returned our equipment and inquired about the shuttle back to our car as we were told to do by office staff. Of note one of their buses (not the shuttle to return customers to their cars) had broken down and the entire staff appeared invested on this. We were told by staff that they were unable to find their manager, the bus was broken down and therefore she didn't know how long it would be until a staff member would be free to drive the shuttle back. I'm not sure why it takes all staff to stand around looking at a broken bus ..... At the shuttle, other guests were standing outside and shared that they had been waiting 30 min for a driver, and all were complaining about the incompetence of this company. The staff were friendly enough, just not well run nor supervised. We would not recommend this company, nor will we use them again. Our experience was 6.8.2014 read more
