I always say I was born in the wrong era, I wish I was born when diners and milkshakes and drive ins were the popular thing to do. Well turns out history repeats itself and I am here for it. Okay back to the milkshakes and ice cream, without further ado here is my review: She's Nuts Bubble Waffle - creamy thick vanilla ice cream topped off with Nutella, chocolate sauce, nuts and a ferrero rocher. It was all wrapped in a freshly made bubble waffle! I loooved this one because I swear there are no places in Mississauga where you can get bubble waffles and now that I found them, I'm always going back hehe Unbrûléevable (creme brûlée) Milkshake - the flavours were soooo sweet with a hint of that burnt caramel, topped off with a waffle biscuit and rimmed with little chocolate ball thingies this one looked and tasted delicious! Overall I loved both the ice cream and waffle and the milkshake, they have many more flavours to try! However the desserts aren't the only thing I appreciated it, the staff here were super sweet and from what I understand it's a women owned local business! Y'all know I'm all about empowering my queens! They opened not too long ago in August 2020, just about a year now and I wish them all the luck, they are already killing it with a second location in brampton! Thank you shake it and co for the amazing desserts, friendly service and hospitality! See you ladies soon, cheers. Check them out y'all!

It is on the smaller side, so they usually ask customers to wait outside and they'll text you when your order is ready, so they can limit the number of people inside their store. There is an overhang so you can be sheltered from the weather if you did not come by car. The menu did not disappoint! The milkshakes were creamy, tasty and so aesthetically pleasing! The iced cream does melt quickly though so it may get messy, especially in the summer. Definitely worth it though! Parking is a breeze since the store shares the medium sized parking lot with the rest of the plaza. Transit from downtown Toronto can be quite the mission however, and you'll have to transfer from TTC to MiWay.

This dessert restaurant is no joke, their menu is so massive it feels like it could rival the Cheesecake Factory's (no exaggeration). While most of it is dedicated to desserts, they do offer food options too, but let's be honest... you come here for the sugar rush. We tried a slice of their Red Velvet Cheesecake, and it was rich, smooth, and everything you want in a dessert. We also ordered a loaded waffle topped with brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and whipped cream, basically a dessert lover's dream on a plate. Both desserts were fantastic and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even with such a huge menu, they made great recommendations. If you're looking for a fun spot to satisfy your cravings, The D Spot delivers.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to, simply because I'm not big on sweets. The cake is light and spongey and absorbs the leche/milk very nicely, and makes the entire cake very moist. Vastly different in texture to other cakes that rely more on cream and icing to balance the sponge cake. I found this cake lighter and a really unique flavour/texture. It's sweet with flavour that has depth (not just by using more sugar/syrup) and the hints of milk, strawberries, cream, etc all mesh really well. Glad to have stumbled across a new fave and I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their offerings.

They had one guest with a child requiring a high chair. The high chair would have been in the way the aisle causing safety issues for staff and customers. They were then asked to move inside and seated beside us. The group was a gaggle of ladies, loud, obnoxious and rude. The oldest lady proceeded to berate the staff for saying the set up inside created the same situation and what was the difference. The high chair was next to an empty table out of the way of foot traffic. The table kept insisting what the difference was for the set up inside versus their preference for seating on the patio. My fiance then got up to the staff counter and explained we have witnessed the insulting be behaviour of the table and that the staff operated appropriately. As a result, we did not want to be seated next to the group and wished to be moved elsewhere if possible. The restaurant was busy and the staff tried to accommodate. Shortly after, the young female manager came out to the the disruptive table and calmly stated the restaurant would not tolerate their behave and asked them to leave. The table was incensed and continued to be loud and disruptive until their departure. My fiancé and I were so pleased and proud the staff stood their ground to not tolerate that rude and entitled behaviour. I was rather embarrassed for the table particularly given the age of the woman doing most of the yelling. The next table over of young people also came over to us and voiced their displeasure with the table between us, citing he too he is in the service industry and the staff did not deserve to be treated like that. This is our review of the integrity, customer service and hard work that takes place at Sunny Morning, on the Queensway. Happy to support the staff and enjoy their food with a pleasant, friendly atmosphere and good food brunch! Well done to the store manager on shift, Aneesa our server and a couple other ladies who were subject to this poor display of civility yet they maintained their professionalism and cool highly recommend this place for great eats, fast efficient and friendly service.
