The service is sometimes a little lacking. - I've seen staff text whilst dealing with customers and they do tend to struggle during their busier periods. Also, the smoothies can sometimes vary from staff member to staff member; especially when they get new starts. I like that they offer a loyalty card and that they're happy to make me a custom smoothie. (Brekkie Blast with no strawberries, please!) Sometimes I do get the feeling the staff would rather be doing anything but making my smoothie. For the most part, I can't fault the smoothies...but I'd like my smoothie with a smile!

Its very tasty and smooth. It's pricey and there are only two sizes: regular and large (£4.39). There is no place to sit at this Zumo stand, but you can sit anywhere in the Gyles and enjoy your fruit juice or smoothie. I'm quite practical and normally continue shopping with my smoothie and so far was not thrown out of any shop :-) It's a fruit heaven for children and adults alike and you might also get your 5's a day!

Most recently, I had the english breakfast and it was a hardy plate full of all the essentials. Everything on it was excellent. I was also excited to see that they had a house-made pumpkin spice latte on the menu, even in July! Holy Cow can get very busy (when I was there on a Thursday, one group after another came in.) But they do a good job at seating everyone quickly, as well as taking orders and bringing out food promptly. During my last visit, I was seated inside, but previously I got to enjoy their back patio. They have a wide selection of juices and smoothies all freshly prepared and bursting with flavour. They have nutritional supplement boost to add to any of your juices - whey protein, wheat-grass, guarana, ginseng etc. I usually go for Detox - Celery, lime, cucumber and orange. It is really refreshing, and gives me a wee pick up after a hard weekend!! Today I tried Veggie Vibe - Beetroot, carrot and cucumber. This was a gorgeous purple colour, sweet, fresh and restorative. It is a take away only shop, with no seating. However it is in the middle of St Enochs centre, so there is plenty of seating available throughout. Or if the sun is shinning (wishful thinking) you can pop out side to the square and do a bit of people watching and whilst sipping on your fruity delight!
