I had likely passed by it before but this is the time I really noticed it was there and made myself stop. Pizza Mafia is a very basic place. They have large slices of pizzas (or you can order a full pizza), hot dogs, and sodas. The place is small and the only seating is in the form of two wood bars on the sides at which you can stand. Neither the limited menu or the lack of furniture should put you off. The pizza is really good and very reasonably priced. I personally ordered two slices and a drink (margherita and one with bell peppers and salami). The slices are clearly off the 20" pizza and can easily make a full meal. I fully admit I actually had to get mine to go and by the time I ate it at the train station it was cold, but the slices were excellent. The margherita wasn't standout, but the they used a nice amount of toppings on the other without overwhelming the crust. The crust was nice and thin without being brittle and the sauce was good. It's not the best pizza I've ever had but it was very good when judged against anything. It was fantastic when compared to other pizzas at its price point. My entire meal cost £4 and to have a third slice would have only cost an additional £1. I don't often eat when I'm in proper Stirling but I'm tempted to drop by Pizza Mafia. Sometimes we just all need a cheap slice... or two, or three.

I must admit I've always went to Pizza Hut with the kids but thought I'd give this place a try ..... Always thought it was over priced, especially with kids ..... This pizza express has not that long moved premises and the new restaurant is much more airy, modern and well spaced .... On the first visit we had 2 pizzas which made us sooo full that we could hardly move!!! Saying that, the pizzas from here are definitely much more tastier and cooked to perfection - a far superior base than the hut .... And no excess grease!!! ... Second time we opted for 2 massive salads which were awesome and filling without feeling like we had over eaten!!! ... I really enjoyed both visits so fat, it's a nice environment, fresh, modern, quick and friendly service from staff who can hold a conversation too if it's not too busy lol .... Oh and they didn't mind serving us a jug of tap water and lemon for the budget king and queen!! ... I'll definitely be back as we still have a few deals to use up .... xx

Fresh to Stirling, Pizza Express is located just outside the Thistles Centre in Central Stirling…read more With a classy exterior and outdoor seating area, the interior is just as chic with luxury picnic style decor right down to the bright retro plastic tableware. This was my first experience of Pizza Experience and whilst the view from the huge glass windows wasn't as striking as I'm sure branches of bigger cities like Glasgow or Edinburgh are, I was happy to sit back and people watch whilst sampling the pizza menu. We choose to go on a Wednesday to take advantage of the 2 for 1 pizza offer for Orange customers which included 2 for 1 on doughballs. So, in terms of value, lunch was really affordable. As I said, I really loved the bright colour scheme and the summer feel of the restaurant. I loved the plastic vibrant glasses but I did notice that they didn't look the cleanest. The doughballs were nice but the garlic butter was a little heavy. It felt like it could have done with another flavour other than garlic since it was just a little bit bland. I had used my cutlery for the starters so it would have been nice to get some clean cutlery for the pizzas. (Which weren't pre-cut.) The pizzas were decent. Though I didn't feel like they were anything special, what particularly threw me was what happened half way through our meal. A waitress tripped over in the middle of the restaurant. She was obviously distressed after what had happened. After this, there seemed to be a few problems back in the kitchen. We then heard the restaurant manager shout 'What is actually wrong with this restaurant?' This was audible across the restaurant and made for an uncomfortable dining environment from then on. It didn't feel professional in the least and I even noticed that she had been doing her paperwork, in huge piles, on one of the restaurant tables. This took away from the atmosphere of the restaurant completely. Really unprofessional. - Beyond the hiccups that normally occur in the first few weeks of a restaurant opening. It would have been a one star from me but the extra star is for the waitress who couldn't have been more apologetic and lovely despite the fact that she was clearly upset after her fall. A disappointing lunch.

North Star's sign outside advertises: "Espresso - Pizza - Cocktails" and claims it to be "home of…read morethe righteous drink." Although having now visited, I'm still unclear whether they consider their espresso or the rum they put in their cocktails to be the more righteous. Either way, I considered these signs to be good ones. It's not a huge bar, but its got plenty of seating, it's comfy and it's got a definite aesthetic it's aiming for. It's pretty cool and I felt right at home. We visited on a Friday night and it was surprisingly quiet but they were doing their best t entertain the ~15 or so customers with an unobnoxious DJ set to go with their pizzas and cocktails. The volume wasn't so high you couldn't sit and chat and the DJ was mostly playing 90s Britpop and kept abandoning his post to come and chat with people. Seemed like a friendly guy who just wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time. Anyway, we ordered a couple of pizzas. I chose the Breakfast at Eisenberg's that came with ham, mushrooms and pepperoni. My partner went for the Margarita with added ham. Turns out that 9" and 12" pizzas are two-for-one when you sit in, but they do also do 16" pizzas and they offer delivery. We ordered two pizzas and two pints and only paid £20. The pizzas bases were thin and crisp and the toppings were good. Only downside? I could probably have eaten an extra half pizza. Maybe I was just hungrier than I thought that day but it made me think of North Star as a better place for lunch than for dinner (although I'll definitely come back for cocktails).
