Frankie & Benny's is a safe option if the girls of the family are dining out, given the fussiness of the middle child.
There's something to please everyone on the menu, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, the cocktails are fairly good (passion fruit daiquiri's are lovely!) and the prices are pretty reasonable.
My mum raves about the calzones (in all fairness, I think it's the only time she's seen one out with a takeaway, let alone eaten one), middle child loves the burgers (or at least one in particular).
