The garden is enclosed and has outdoor seating and a small play area for the children, ideal for during the summer! I ordered the chicken liver pate which was tasty and came with plenty of toasted breads and salad my husband ordered the soup of the day, tomato and cauliflower which he also enjoyed. After they arrived, I realised she didn't tell me that the raspberry sauce was THE raspberry sauce of my childhood, the one that I had figured was so full of E numbers that the recipe had been locked away, never to see the sight of day again! My ice cream didn't taste the same after that revelation. Not very much vanilla flavour, and too much sauce. Cherries were alright though. I think she enjoyed her dessert, apart from the bits of sauce I scraped away from her ice cream. When we asked where they bought their sauce from, the guy behind the counter insisted he made his own. I dunno mate, it seems about as homemade as Irn Bru to me, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
