Andiamo's Milngavie restaurant is without a doubt my favourite of all 3. I've become incredibly knowledgable with the chain as my partner Colin works for the Hamilton branch, and I've been in quite a lot of times in the last couple of years. Colin and I decided yesterday that we were going to visit all 3 restaurants in one day; have a coffee in the Giffnock branch, a starter in the Milngavie branch and then a main course in the Hamilton one, and we managed it successfully!
Upon stepping into the Milngavie restaurant, I was blown away. In comparison to the other two, it's so contemporary, fabulous and fresh. Black walls dotted with white and gold paintings and furnishings, a huge ornate fireplace and a whole lounge in the bar make this the largest of the three, but also definitely my favourite. Colin and I had starter portions of pasta to eat; Colin a Penne Modo Mio and myself a Rigatoni Norcina. Both were loved and scoffed down with a presumably indelicate manner. The staff were excellent, and loved to hear Colin was a fellow Andiamo staff member (even taking our final round of drinks off the bill!)
