Universal Windows Direct of Atlanta - 4 lite sliding glass door in the place of 3 windows

Universal Windows Direct of Atlanta

(37 reviews)

We could not be any happier with UWD of Atlanta. We always get 3 quotes for any major renovation…read moreand their quote saved us over 10k from the next closest estimate. Charlie showed us different options of things that we could do to save money without changing the footprint. Eugeniy kept us informed on the timeline as the windows were being made and then as the installation crew were installing. The installation crew were very tidy, professional and had all 32 windows installed in 2 days. Eugeniy stopped by to inspect the work. Completely seamless for us and by far our easiest home renovation project. I highly recommend Universal Windows Direct Of Atlanta.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. We will definitely be back in the future for other windows in our home!

All Four Seasons Garage & Entry Doors

All Four Seasons Garage & Entry Doors

We were led to All Four Seasons from ad/recommendations on local Atlanta sports radio. Did some…read morechecking, they seemed good and went ahead with meeting with their sales rep and ordering an Amish build mahogany door. End-game was a very nice door (photos below). Let's talk details. Sales, quick to respond to a visit and to bring samples, gave a good presentation of options, but seeing a sample of their mahogany door, we were sold, even with the high price point. We talked through the design options and chose as you see a "Shaker" like design, two side panels, replacing the structure that we had. Picked the design from web-site examples. Chose a simple windows four in the door and two each side at eye level. Made the 50% deposit at the sale and then came the surprises. First was that it was a 4-5 month delivery. Oh, Ok I can understand custom building. Their installation duo (contractors?) came out and verified the door opening measurements, good to have thoroughness. Then I had to insist on receiving the design drawings from the sales rep. They were emailed to me. No sales/customer review of the detailed paper design document was offered or done (I wish that they had as you will see later). For 4 of the wait-months, no contacts, no news of updates. Feels like once the order was done, sales were done. As I had not heard, after about 3 and a half months I emailed and asked for a status and got a short re-oh from the sales rep; "we told you 4-5 months". OK, perhaps they're busy (sale was over?). Then after 5 months got a message doors will arrive the last day of 2025 (oh so more, like 5-6 months not 4-5, eh?). And earliest installation was four weeks later (now we are in the 6-7 month window. Installation duo was great. Came as scheduled. Did a thorough removal of the old door. Installed the new one. Trimmed it out inside and outside. When they installed it, I (sadly) realized that they had switched the side of the hinges and the door handle to the other side of the door (from the old door that I replaced). OK, my mistake yes I should have looked at the design documents closely and I did not. That is why I WISH THAT THE SALES GUY OR SOMEONE HAD PERSONALLY REVIEWED THE DESIGN DOCUMENTS WITH ME AND EXPLAINED THIS ITEM! Well as I said, the sale was over once I paid 50% and ordered, the sales guy was onto new customer no doubt! Anyway, the installers cleaned up afterwards. Interesting message when they left "if you don't hear a stain and varnish date in 2-3 weeks call the office to get one". That raised a sales / service question, when they scheduled the install, why on earth did they not ALSO schedule the completion step of stain and finish? When I heard their comment on timing I immediately called and talked to the office and was given an earliest next step (final) appointment 2 more weeks out. We were into the 7-8 month window, sales, build/delivery/insulation and finish! Looked at the door after installation and it had the two sidelights fully wrapped, as well as the glass covered in plastic. Understandable for shipping safety (the whole door unit was plastic wrapped, which was unwrapped before the installation, but the didn't remove the plastic on the side lights/glass). I asked the installers about it. "Oh the stain/varnish painter will remove them" Hmm, OK, strange. I took the plastic off, the whole side light was wrapped around even between the door frames. They had build/put the unit together WITH the plastic wrap in place, a strange way to construct! Stain and varnish person (Contractor) was excellent. Communicated well, handled a slight delay due to rain/snow/ice with professionalism. Did a great job of staining and finishing the trim (I would hire him for any paint work!). Done in the day. So net/net, a beautiful door. Looks great. Sales was good but after the sale somewhat ignored us. A good sales support team would have walked through the design and helped us catch the orientation switch. Marginal scheduling support, yes, do book both visits at once! Excellent install and finishing teams. I could not do a 3 star as the end door is very nice and installation and finish teams were great. I could not do a five star as the post sales support was poor, so they get a four star.

I hired All 4 Seasons Garage Doors to replace my garage doors at my business, expecting…read moreprofessional service and quality workmanship. Instead, what I received was incomplete work, damaged property, repeated operational issues, and ongoing inconvenience to my company and customers. The original garage doors were solid, quality doors. They replaced them with flimsy, low-quality doors that immediately caused problems. During installation, their technicians allowed one of the garage doors to slam into the ground multiple times, leaving it damaged. To this day, two of the garage doors remain damaged and still need replacement. The installation was never properly completed. The doors repeatedly malfunctioned and became stuck open, forcing my employees and me to stay after business hours waiting for technicians to come release the doors. On multiple occasions, customers' vehicles were trapped inside the garage because the doors would not open. This created major disruptions to my business operations and negatively impacted my customers. When I contacted the company to resolve these issues, I was told they would not return to complete the work unless I paid them first -- despite the fact that the job was unfinished and the doors were already causing serious problems. I ultimately had to hire another garage door company to finish and correct the work they failed to complete. I paid for a professional installation and functioning garage doors. What I received was careless workmanship, damaged equipment, unfinished work, lost business time, and unnecessary stress for my employees and customers. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

He also did an amazing job cleaning up, and I'm pretty sure he left the areas he worked on cleaner than they were when he arrived. I've noticed a huge improvement in noise levels, and the air conditioning seems to work a lot better in the rooms where he replaced the windows as I'm sure these windows are way more energy efficient than the old ones we had. Goran did all of the work himself, which was fantastic. A lot of these places send one guy to bid the job but a different crew comes out to do the work. Goran does the work himself, doesn't rush it, and is very meticulous in everything he does. His prices were also super fair, even compared to some of the giant companies around here that have much worse service. Goran is also a genuinely kind person and was a pleasure to talk with while he was working here. He felt more like a family friend than a contractor. I will never use any other companies for my windows going forward. Goran has earned a customer for life in me.

He gave a free estimate, emailing us a precisely detailed quote which matched the amount (very reasonable) finally charged. He showed up on time every day and maintained excellent communication throughout the project. Finally and most importantly, he did high quality work which seamlessly blends in with the rest of the house. We plan to hire Goran again for future house projects.
