New double-hung, double-pane windows with internal colonial grids and low-e coating
    Frank W.

Great company! Affordable Windows, good selection of options, straightforward, no bull pricing, no hard selling. I was interviewing four other companies to bid on my whole-house project. I really appreciated the short and succinct intro to their products, the remainder of the conversation was about what I wanted to talk about. They don't do high-pressure sales, either. No attempt to get paperwork signed on the spot; I called when I was ready, and the price was the price, no gimmicks. The products are solid and a great value. Now that the windows are installed, I am amazed how great hey look and how well the entire project went. My install crew was led by Jamison. When he arrived for the appointment we had a briefing about what he planned to do and how he suggested to accommodate my special requests. He then introduced his crew who was buttoned up, competent, very friendly and did phenomenal and clean work. Truly professional. All in all, on a 10-point scale, I have to give them a solid 10. A truly professional company, even after-sale; I had a warranty issue that happened about a week past the install, and they came out the next day after my call, and promptly rectified everything. Transferable Lifetime Warranty on everything they touched. I highly recommend them and would use them again anytime.

    $50 referral.

He was very professional genuinely interested in making sure he did everything he could to repair my steel door. He identified options and pros and cons of each option. He took the time to call me in his off work hours to discuss the problems I was having with my door and asked for pictures to make sure he brought the right equipment to repair the door. I would definitely use them again and if fact I am scheduled to have them fix another part that could not be fixed in the current visit and would be a more involved repair project. I am awaiting an estimate of this repair. I am glad that I gave them another chance to prove their expertise in this ares, because Titus's approach and experience definitely impressed me ! ---/ Update: I have heard from the owner Justin and he assigned someone to be out on this coming Monday to evaluate my problem with my door. Further updates to this review should follow after that service visit. -//// Take note that this is a temporary evaluation of this company until I hear back from Justin the owner. Before November 20 approximately 2 1/2 weeks ago, I requested a person to come out and repair my steel door on an outside storage unit. I specifically said I wanted it repaired and if not repairable, an estimate for replacement. I asked several times if there was a fee or service call for coming out Brie, the representative said there was no service fee and it would be as I understood: Come out look at it. See if it was repairable and if not repairable to give me an estimate for replacement door. I specified several times that it was a steel door and I wanted to repair the steel door. On the day the technician was to come out, he said that he only replaces with fiberglass doors because he prefers the quality over steel doors. He doesn't feel that steel doors were durable. I explained to him how many times I specified I had a steel door and wanted to Repair it and only do a replacement as the last resort. I also reminded him how long I've waited for this appointment and that clarification of my needs should've been done 2 1/2 weeks ago when I requested the appointment. Scott, the technician promptly offered to call the owner Justin. After colleague came back, he said that he did leave a message for Justin and his awaiting for him to call me back. Scott also announced that anyone coming out would be a $400 minimum repair service and replacement of the doors would be starting at $2500. I told him I didn't think it was worth it to have someone come out and put two longer bolts so proper adjustment of the door can be made . I also explained to him that which is my evaluation of what it needed to be repaired. But that is only my evaluation. I told him that that's why I'm hiring door company cause they supposedly are the experts and what is needed to repair it! This review may change depending on if the owner Justin calls me back and how they're going to resolve this miscommunication of what me the Customer needed versus what the company could offer. It was a total waste of time as of now

A truly bizarre experience…read more I called them in late March to set up an appointment to look at my back door, which consists of a screen door and fiberglass door that no longer close flush with the door frame. The technician, Titus, was great. He arrived on time and listened while I talked through my concerns. Then he went to work, and after a bit, confirmed what I suspected: Adjustments couldn't fix the issue because the frame itself had become warped. Since it was early in the day, he suggested that he could replace both doors the same day. I told him if the estimate was within my budget, I'd be fine with that plan. He took some pictures and returned to his vehicle to put together the estimate. When he came back, he told me that due to timing concerns, he wouldn't be able to install the doors today after all, and said he'd send the estimate later that day. I told him that wasn't a big deal since the door replacement isn't urgent. He then offered to replace the damaged weather stripping on the door frame before he left. Cool guy, listened, talked through my door options, no complaints. That was five days ago. I haven't heard from the company since. No estimate. No follow-up. No calls, no emails (I've checked my spam folder.) Just silence. Either my house is haunted and I don't know about it or their business is doing so well they don't need the money from a relatively small job like mine. Either way, I'll be looking for someone else to finish the job, I guess.

I have used Atlanta Area Window & Door 2 times for front door installation at two different…read moreproperty locations. The first time, I'd give them a 5 star. But the second time, I'm giving them a 3 star. I don't have much to say about the first experience since I thought that they did a great job that I hired them for the second job. However, the second job was riddled with issues and heartache. I shopped for quotes from different companies and I awarded the job to Mark and his team. The reason I award the job to Mark is not due to the price but due to the thoughtful and experienced comments he made and when he addressed my questions. I thought that this guy was someone who care and was not in the job just for the money. However, Mark is not the one that actually does the door install. He had a different team install the door and that would be fine as long as there were no issues with the door install. But there were issues. The installation team are great people - someone you could grab a beer with and chat. But they lacked the problem solving and attitude of someone who owned their own business. Issue #1: After the door was installed, the door did not close well. I had to push extra hard to get the door to shut. I asked the installer if there is something he can do to fix that. He did what he can on installation day (took an entire day to install and they worked past 5pm) and had to come back on a different day. On the second day, they made some changes to the door sweep. This made the door close better. However, this created an issue with a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. While walking outside at night, I saw streams of light shining from under the front door. This allowed insects to enter my house. I brought this to Mark's attention and asked him not to send the same crew to fix the issue because the installation guy had already told me that he did everything he can. Mark was able to ask another guy to come and fix the issue. The new guy showed up and fixed the issue within 30 mins or less. This guy owned his own door installation business and does the door install himself. During the whole ordeal, Mark showed up on day one to supervise and ensure everything was on track but he did not attempt to remedy the work himself. Issue #2: I paid the original door installers $xx (i forgot the amount) in cash to install a nest doorbell. The doorbell was installed but did not work because a transformer was required and they do not install transformers. I had to pay a separate guy to install the transformer. In hindsight, I would should have paid a separate guy to install doorbell who can also install a transformer if needed. This was probably my fault but I felt like I paid for something that didn't solve my problem. Issue #3: 1-2 months after the door was installed, i noticed that pads at the foot of the door had ripped. I asked Mark to fix and his response was that he would send some pads in the mail for me to fix myself. It's been a month and I haven't seen any pads in my mailbox. I paid almost $6K for doorframe and door (which i still have to paint myself). For this amount of money I was expecting a better streamlined, worry-free experience.

I have never had such a horrendous experience with a company EVER. Unethical, predatory employees,…read morespineless owner. I reached out to several companies back in May 2024 as I thought there was an issue that required window replacement, but it turned out I could fix it with caulk so I did not proceed with any quotes. My quote was done by Jeff. During my quote session, Jeff made several comments that I took as a misunderstanding of social cues, but I now know were not. Two months after my initial quote, I received a text message from Jeff's PERSONAL device. Prior to this, he had only communicated with me via a work device. This text from Jeff was disturbing, inappropriate, and concerning from a safety perspective. Jeff ABUSED his access to customer data to hit on a customer nearly HALF his age. I was hesitant to reach out to the company as I did not know these men (The owner, Mark, and Jeff) and feared retaliation; however, I did not want this to happen to another young woman so I left a review through the BBB. Mark reached out within a few hours expressing his apologies and disgust with Jeff's actions and assured me Jeff would be fired first thing Monday morning. I spent the weekend beefing up my home security system just in case. Come Monday, I hear nothing. Which was fine at first. Tuesday morning, I received an email stating that Jeff was not fired, that Jeff was a "good man", it would "be a loss for us to have to let him go", and asked for my forgiveness. Our definitions of what make a good man are vastly different. I also let Mark know that I would not be manipulated into offering my forgiveness for the sake of politeness or either of their consciences. After letting Mark know of my disappointment, I was told that Jeff never meant to send the text but "accidentally" pressed send while editing the text. This does not explain how Jeff got my phone number on his personal device in the first place. The argument they may use was "there was a discussion about his motorcycle while he was in your home and wanted to follow up on that conversation" but I invite whoever reads this to put themselves in my shoes. A man whom I do not know is in my home and is rambling about his hobby. He already inappropriately hugged me when he saw I owned power tools. Would you feel safe as a petite woman telling a strange man twice your age and twice your size "no, I do not care about your bike. Please leave"? I have already told all of my friends never to use this business due to the lack of ethics and a spine from the owner and its' employees. Your personal information is not protected and enlisting this business to do work to your home is only putting yourself, your wife, your daughters, and your family at risk. My intention here is not to get Jeff fired, but to notify my neighbors and fellow Cobb residents that this business is untrustworthy. His actions regarding this matter are well within his rights as owner and they show his backwards priorities, lack of character, and bad morals. But it is also within my right to protect other women and homeowners in the Cobb area from people like this.

Higor and his crew deserve recognition for a job well done. The house was freshly painted inside, and they took care not to leave a single mark. In part, we approached Window World in recognition of their strong support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, that is world renowned for the incredible free care they provide to children with cancer from all over the world. Window World has sponsored local activities and runs in Atlanta, benefiting SJCRH, and it's nice to put your money where your mouth is, as they say. We highly recommend Window World, and would gladly use them again.

The sales person Charlie met with me and took the appropriate measurements, was respectful of my time, and gave us plenty of options. Their professionalism was what sold me on the company--they were not trying to upsell me, or overcharge like other companies would (one other company gave us a 3 hour sales pitch and quoted 20k for the same six windows). Universal gave us a reasonable price and didn't take up unnecessary time. Eugeniy personally ordered the windows to the custom measurements, and when they arrived he brought one to store so that it wouldn't be damaged in transit. He had recommended that we install a new window in our exit door and it was the right call--that entire area looks much improved! The installers were prompt, professional, and the end result was clean, precise, and expertly done. Eugeniy himself came to check the quality of their work and made sure it was done to his standard before receiving the final payment. It is difficult to know who to trust with these projects--if you're looking for knowledgeable professionals who will meet your budgetary and time constraints, with great communication this is the company you want to go with. We will definitely be back in the future for other windows in our home!
