About 10 years ago I would have loved this place but the clothes and accessories just a tad bit more geared towards a younger college crowd which makes sense since this is in Norman Oklahoma. Upon walking in the door I was greeted with several friendly faces and asked if I need help throughout my visit. All of the clothes and shoes were lined up nicely and organized by size and color which I always love when places do this. I've always been a big fan of Louis Vuitton and I noticed that they sell pre-owned Louis Vuitton for a fraction of the cost so that is why I stopped in plus not to mention it is conveniently located in the shops where TJ Maxx target are. Everything was priced very reasonable I thought an overall this is a great preowned store but I would probably classify it for mainly 20-year-olds. read more

They did not reach back out to let me know when they were completed with my items and then they told me since I didn't pick them up by 7 pm per the contract I signed I forfeited my money and my items will be donated. I called the next day to check the status of my and was told they tried to contact me. I have nothing from them. read more

Went to get clothes and searched for almost 2 hours and picked out over 15 things. I hung up all of my clothes outside of the dressing room due to their "store policy". I tried on a few clothes and when I came out ALL of my clothes hung up on the dressing room were gone. The employees claimed "oh yeah we put those all back" and had zero sympathy. They even claimed "oh well you can go get them if you want them but they are all hung back up" I'm so annoyed. read more

brought in 2 huge bags of clothes full of things i've never worn or only worn a few times. they took 3 things, one being a pair of shoes and gave me $17. they told me my clothes were not being taken because of "wear and tear" when over half of the things in the bag had a new tag or sticker on them. my bags did not look like they had been gone through other than the top few things they took. over selling my clothes here. read more

I go there at least once every two months and always walk out of there with something every time. The clothes are such good quality and so trendy and cute. There's always something for everyone and all body types. The prices are also reasonable and they often have sales going on! I bought sooo many dresses just the other day! I brought in four items that were in season and retailed for a total of $450. Uptown Cheapskate offered me $28 or $32 in store credit for all four items. I get it, it's a resale store, but my items had TAGS. They posted on Instagram that they wanted more men's clothes. This is why they don't have any. I've since sold the items on Marketplace. Don't go here if you intend to sell them anything name brand. Go crazy if you're selling Shein, though; they have tons of that on the racks. read more

I've sold to this location a few times and it's really just hit or miss. The first time I sold they loved my stuff and took all of it. Most recently they took maybe a 1/4th of my items and I'm not even sure they looked through all my bags (had a nearly brand new pair of Birkenstocks at the bottom of a bag they didn't take). The staff is friendly but selling definitely isn't a guarantee. read more

The main reason I come here is for affordable, cute clothing. Sometimes it's a hit or miss, but overall a positive experience; however, I also like coming here for the second hand approach to fashion. That's why I was shocked to find out that the clothing they source personally is bought off Shein, which is a horrible clothing retailer. Not only is it fast fashion to the max, but its labor practices are highly unethical. That's why I was so surprised to learn this from one of their employees, as a lot of Uptown's branding materials in-store position them as an earth and eco-friendly business. At least be honest about what type of business you are. I'm not saying don't shop here, but I hope when going you only stick to the second-hand section! read more

The best!! I'm a big fan of buying pre-owned clothes as it's eco-friendly, but it can be hard to find cute pre-owned clothes at a decent price online, or at all in a thrift shop. This place is FULL of the cutest clothes, shoes, purses, and jewelry at an affordable price. And they often have sales going on which make it even more affordable - today I got American Eagle dress for $14! read more

I hate this store. This store did not take in any of my clothes and proceeded to say all of them were over 2 years. It made it look like they didn't even try to look at the clothes I offered them. I really do appreciate the workers and just how clean the store is in general. The only thing I think is maybe inconvenient is when having large sales you aren't allowed to try items on which kinda sucks in my case. if anyone is like me I have to try all my clothes on before I purchase them just because my size varies in all different brands. other than that overall customer service was spectacular and very informative! always smiling and friendly faces!! :) read more

They say that a recycled clothing store is only as good as the location it is in. So you have to take that into consideration. That said, this location does have some pretty great things. It's not Buffalo Exchange in Santa Monica or Crossroads Trading Company in Boulder, but they do have a good share of Lululemon, and you can always find a few Free People items. I'm really glad this is here. And it is in the same shopping center as TJMaxx, which I've been kind of into lately for sleep and lounge pants. read more

Shopped here for the first time yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. They had some great deals on designer items and a wide selection to choose from. I picked up a pair of nearly new boots for $20. If I had purchased them elsewhere I would have paid somewhere around $100. I haven't sold any clothes to them so I can't speak to that part of the business, but while I was in the store I counted 5 different people who were selling and it seemed to be a smooth process they were all happy with. I may bring some items by in the future. I am docking them one star for the kitty cat sweatshirt I found on the rack that clearly looked like it had been purchased at a craft show circa 1990. The quality of clothing and brands across the board seemed pretty good, but that find makes me worry that quality control and attention to detail at this place could use a little work. read more
