I went to their small display in a market in Moore and now they've opened their very own store in Norman. Two Hip Chicks also display some of their cute items at Victoria's Pasta in Norman. The two ladies that own the store I met last year at the OKC fairgrounds at a craft show. I've special ordered items as well as bought items that are already made. I live in Northern CA so I haven't had a chance to actually go in their new store so I must plan a trip to Norman to visit the store. They have a beautifully curated collection--a blend of local and non-local items--old and new, practical and quirky, unique and creative. My spirits are lifted when I walk through the door. I feel a bit like a I did as a child looking through a favorite relative's hope chest or exploring all of the treasures in my grandmother's home imagining what my home would look like when I got big. Nostalgia and possibilities comingle. We notice clothes all over the floor. Just around shelves, tables and everwhere. THIS WAS Wed afternoon so not like busy weekend. I have never been to any Target like this! I honestly wanted to walk around and start picking things up. We had clothes to try on but at the sight of dressing rooms changed our mind. Have always thought of Target a step up from Walmart but not this one. I should of taken pictures. Some clearance racks too, crammed into some areas. Just messy! They need better workers, for sure.
