Avoid this location at all costs! They are incompetent and rude. This is the third day I've driven over a hour to try and fill a prescription I desperately need. This Target is a mess! We were in Norman today and happened to go into this location. It's a big store with a large grocery area too. Looks newer as far as floor and checkout areas. We notice clothes all over the floor. Just around shelves, tables and everwhere. THIS WAS Wed afternoon so not like busy weekend. I have never been to any Target like this! I honestly wanted to walk around and start picking things up. We had clothes to try on but at the sight of dressing rooms changed our mind. Have always thought of Target a step up from Walmart but not this one. I should of taken pictures. Some clearance racks too, crammed into some areas. Just messy! I brought in my coffee and I've been struggling with my ankle so I was in a motorized cart. As I was ringing up my kitty litter I hit my coffee and it went everywhere. Not to mention it was the end of the night. Alan and Karen helped me get my stuff situated and wasn't disgruntled at all. Walking thru store was a mess, unorganized and trashy. I used to like coming to Target to do my shopping. Last few times employees are rude seemed not to care about the customer. I decided to try self check out and not sure if guy was just thrown over there or what but he was completely lost. I refuse to go to checkout person named Kristal at least that is what her name tag said. she was extremely rude and didnt seem to be happy with her job or want to do anything. This target used to be my preferred place to shop. Over the last few years the quality of the store and the employees have deteriorated quickly. Last night my girlfriend and I were doing some shopping around 7pm. The store wasn't particularly busy, and the building was infested with red shirts on the clock. We stopped in the electronic section and there was something on the shelf, but it was chained to the shelf. The one person with a "tech" shirt on was busy fraternizing with a group of guests. I waited a few minutes before approaching the employee. He asked for a minute to finish up with the guests. I waited, directly in view of this man, for 10 minutes while he sat and laughed with these kids who had already checked out. Eventually, I approached him again and asked for help. He followed me, picked up the item off the shelf and just held it in the air before saying something like "just take it." I pointed out that he hadn't unchained it and his response was "oh, I didn't know I needed to." As we were walking out, my girlfriend and I found a piece of patio furniture that we wanted to buy. The only issue was that the box was too big and awkward to fit in our shopping cart. So, we thought we'd ask an associate to grab one of the bigger dollies. I started to ask the first person that walked by for help and they cut me off to say "I can't help you, I'm on my break. I'm just walking around." I think the associate realized that's not very good customer service, so a second later he offered to radio for someone to come help us. I took him up on the offer, and I literally heard him call it in as he walked away. We waited another 10 minutes for help. We watched as probably half a dozen or more employees would walk by and just glare at us. Any time I'd try to flag them down it literally felt like they would avoid us. We eventually got fed up waiting for help and just left without the patio bench. Finally, the woman at self checkout did not know how to listen. I ended up forgetting a bag at the register. I had to restate the same thing like 4 times because the person at the self checkout area kept cutting me off and trying to assume what I was saying. I eventually got my bag back, but that woman was no help. All in all, this was a horrible experience and I will try my best to not come back any time soon. I recommend others try the same. read more

If I could submit 0 stars I would. My daughter and I were inTarget, yesterday, 3/9 in Norman OK to conduct business by way of shopping foran Instacart customer.  There were 2items we had issues finding: a make up concealer and men's underwear. Aftersearching for a significant amount of time for the underwear in the men'ssection, and with no employees in sight to ask for assistance, we grabbed whatbest matched the customer's request and went to find the concealer in themakeup/beauty section.  Unfortunately, wealso had issues finding the concealer color the customer was looking for. As wemoved from the Revlon section of the makeup area, we went to find an employeethat may be able to assist and there were 3 women standing in the Ulta Beautyarea chatting amongst themselves. My daughter and I approached and asked forassistance with the make up we were looking for and Lilly said she would helpand left to go look for the concealer leaving 2 employees standing before mydaughter and I. While Lilly was looking for the concealer, I asked Makeila ifshe would help us in confirming the underwear we had in our basket, ( as ourbest guess for what the customer wanted ), was the item in the picture anddescription in my Instacart App.  She wasextremely polite and more than willing to help us. As we are discussing theunderwear, Lilly returns and advises that this store does not carry theconcealer the customer ordered thru the Instacart App at this location. Ithanked her for looking and SHE asked...."what else are you guys lookingfor?", as she looked over Makeila's shoulder to look at her hand-helddevice. Makeila explains the product description is not generating theunderwear seen on the instacart app, nor does it confirm the underwear I havepicked already in my hand basket....Lilly then advises me that the underwearwould be in the men's underwear section and that she doesn't know any more thanthat.  Her response was dismissive, andher tone was beyond rude and couldn't have translated more how "overus" she was and how she didn't want to help us any further if she tried.And boy did she try. I then looked at Lilly and said something along the linesof, "we already checked the men's underwear department hence the underwear inmy basket here", we are just trying to determine if they are the right ones perthe app description compared to Target description. I had no attitude or tone,I stated what I did as a statement of fact. She proceeds to tell me that shedoesn't know, she can't help me and that I need to speak to someone in the men'sunderwear dept because she is in the beauty department. This upset me becauseher tone, body language and words were unnecessarily rude, demeaning anddismissive.  I didn't understand wherethe hostility and what appeared to be anger at times was coming from.  I responded and matched her energy as Iexplained to her that Makeila, who is also in the makeup department was morethan willing, with a kind and helpful attitude and demeanor, to assist me inlooking up this item. I told Lilly I didn't appreciate her rude and unhelpfuldemeanor, especially when I was already being helped by Makeila, I did not askLilly for any further assistance beyond the concealer and she input herself inthe conversation between Makeila and I, only to tell me in hopes that I wouldleave, that she(they) could not and would not help me. As the conversationbecomes more heated, by way of her tone and voice getting louder asking if Iwant her to get a manager because I was getting upset, I told her yes go getyour manager.  She leaves for about 5minutes before coming back with a manager, Billie. Billie approaches with Lillystill standing right there for the conversation and asked what happened. As I'mtrying to explain my experience, Lilly continuously interrupted me while I wasspeaking. I addressed Lilly, by pointing at her, telling her to stopinterrupting while I'm talking. And Lilly tells me she doesn't like my fingerin her face, which it wasn't. I was at minimum, 2 feet away from her. Themanager, Billie, proceeds to tell me, "she is only trying to defendherself"...excuse me????? Defend herself from what? I did NOTHING to herand if anyone needed "defense" it was my daughter and I. Billie answered,"Lilly felt like she was being attacked." ...Now this is where I was DONE andneeded to leave the situation before it did escalated as far as my anger anddemeanor in recognition of the micro-aggressive, instigative, condescendingtone and words of this supposed manager. I am a tall black woman who was NOTacting in any way that was intimidating or angry other than just standingthere in my skin, which for them, is enough.  I was defending MYSELF and daughter from therude and antagonizing Lilly and Billie. I have experienced racism and prejudicein all aspects of my life and am cognizant of how it manifests/presents in somany ways: overtly, subtly and at times unconsciously. This is a hard review to write because there was a C lot good and a lot bad. The Good: They are quite big and have a ton of food and household goods. I found so much more there than I found at my home -Target. The Bad: Outside of a man stocking the shelves in toys and my cashier, most everybody else was unfriendly or rude. The women's bathroom was dirty and when I complained the woman in the office doorway acted like I was the problem. BUT: I'll still go here when I'm in Norman because of the choices. read more

We were in to do a little weekend grocery shopping. As we were getting started, I went to the cafe area to buy a bottle of water. The Target team member working that counter told me that I had to use something called a Target circle app on my cellphone in order to buy the water. I asked her if I could just pay with cash. She said, "Yes. But, you still have to scan your phone on our terminal." So, you have to install an app on your phone to buy something with cash at Target now? Later in our visit, I tried to buy some sandwich meat and cheese. The selection of products available was not in the display case--it was in a case to the rear of the display case. The deli worker told me to walk beyond the display case, to view the deli products in a rear case. As I was pondering my purchase, an older man in a Target uniform approached me from behind and yelled in my face, "YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED BACK HERE. GET OUT!" I looked to the lady that directed me to the rear case for help. She slunk away, leaving me to deal with the aggressive angry old man. I asked for a manager. He appeared ten or fifteen minutes later as we were leaving with our groceries. Just an awful experience. read more

Do not use their order pickup!!! I've waited in line at least 3 times for over 10 minutes for my order. Once I went, waited 10 minutes, and then eventually left because no one was even at the customer service desk and there was a growing line and I had somewhere to be hence why I did "Order Pickup." Best target around in the okc/moore/norman area. I will choose their home furnishings and decorations over Wallyworld. Right now they have very cute patio furniture and gorgeous outdoor plastic plates and cups that are dishwasher safe. They always have what I need. The Xmas season was really busy here but the night before Christmas I needed some things that, well homeland had but they closed who knows when (arrived 10min before 8pm to find doors locked with no sign.) and walmart was out of (who closed at 8pm so I barely had a chance to get the few things I needed that they did have in stock) so this target really saved my Christmas. Staff was all friendly and helpful and there wasn't a whole lot of people in line which was surprising considering it was the night before Xmas and all. But I got the pans I needed and the stuffing mix and resisted the urge to splurge on dresses and other things I really did want but surely didn't need. Worst service I have ever had. There have been two incidents back to back where I was angry upon leaving this target. The first instance, I was making a return. I had my receipt & the cashier had made a mistake on my return, owing me more money. I have been in retail for 7 years, I know the drill. I asked her if she could fix it for me and I even told her where the mistake was made (as to help her) but she just snarked and blamed the mistake on me. I'm sorry, but I don't see how it could have been my fault, lady?! I was super polite the entire time and yet I was the customer when the cashier wasn't keeping her cool. The next occasion I was buying 2 CD's. The cd's were on sale and the sale stickers were right on top of the case. The transaction rang up more than it should have (cds didn't ring up on sale) so I pointed it out to the cashier to politely fix and same thing, attitude! Grr.. Maybe I caught these women on a bad day, but, the fact that I do what they do every single day and I have done it for so long makes me less forgiving of their behaviors. read more

Love this Target. Probably the best one near OKC. I love how they carry Amy's Organic frozen dinners for a much cheaper price, smoked salmon, Method cleaning products, and lots of drugstore makeup at better prices. This Target is also very clean and organized well. I also love how it's right next to a lot of other businesses in case you need to run into Petco with your furry friend or buy beauty supplies at Ulta it's all walking distance away! read more

Once upon a time, a girl and her bf came out to Oklahoma from California for a few weeks. While driving back from a casino, they passed a Super Target on the freeway. The girl exclaimed "OMG they DO exist!" and pointed excitedly at the large building that was only known as a myth back in California. This elusive corporate monstrosity barely exist in California and does not exist at all anywhere near san francisco (actually there are no regular targets IN San Francisco.. but yet there are two target greatlands in the city next to sf, right across from each other???). anywhoo... she made her bf turn around on the freeway just to allow her an up close visit of this rare sighting. She quickly hopped out of the car to take a picture of it to prove to everyone back home of its existence. Long story short, they drove off into the sunset with a car full of crap that they could have easily bought at the millions of super walmarts around them but then she wouldn't have the satisfaction of saying she's shopped at a super target.. The end. **This place is awesome! Its a target + super market all rolled into one.. same concept as a super walmart but cleaner and with some better stuff :) Prices are slightly higher than walmart but me still likey lots! :) probably cause I've never been to one.. tip: check the end caps of each aisle for the clearance stuff** read more

This Target is awesome! Really, there is so much to love.... A grocery store, a convenience store, home decorating, a card store, electronics, baby aisle, pet aisle, clothing, games, toys and so much more all combined in one happy place. Okay I really love Target but this place is so clean and nice. They have a Starbucks and cold stone at the from of the store which is also fun if you want a little snack while shopping. Every time I have visited this location the staff is very friendly and they go out of their way to help you. Target has everything so if you can't find what you need, just ask! Went to target in Norman to pick up my daughter's birthday present which was a switch in an animal crossing cartridge to go with it at the store do you that said your item for the consul is out of stock it will be in on the 22nd my daughter's birthday was on the 20th keep that in mind. I could not get the cancellation to go through on my target app so I went inside the store as I was walking in a manager Hannah was saying Scott would you like to deal with a disgruntled customer because I was on the phone with Hannah she put me on hold because they were looking to see if they had a switch somewhere in the store they did not. So I was coming and ask her to help me so I can get my refund. Needless to say the item was not there they cannot refund my money immediately which was $400 for a switch and a game anyway the money was eventually refunded I contacted my bank and then on my daughter's birthday which is today the 20th they took another fee for another game cartridge out of my account of $65.09 I had nothing in my cart so they charge me again for an order that had already been canceled and so I'm waiting for them to put the money again back into my account and it's apparently just my problem to deal with so in addition to millennials that feel like they should be paid above their worth when they do A crappy job as a manager they again still $65 from my account when I have nothing or have placed an order with them for anything that costs remotely close to $65 I have not purchased anything from target so why they're taking more money out of my account is beyond me my options are to cancel my debit card with my bank wait a few weeks to get another card or find out why target is continuing to charge me for things I'm not purchasing I would like to complain and let you all know that just because it says it's in stock if you purchase it online it is not always there because apparently there were like 17 switches in stock the animal crossing and the regular switch the neon joy switch they had none in in the store so keep that in mind either your stuff is pilfering fromYou are you were doing a very poor job of keeping track of your inventory I am done shopping at target!!!! read more

Exclusively, this review is for the fresh vegetable section of the store. in the last 3 months, I have inspected the vegetable section of the store, with the eye of a foodie and a witness. The first time, they were selling rotten vegetables. I complained to a manager, and immediately, a worker with rolling trash bin was sent to clean out the rotten veggies, of which laborer I could see doing the work. Last week, I inspected, again. The problem was worse. They have not been dismantling the vegetable displays for cleaning, evidenced by the crud in the holes. These displays are designed to be taken apart and cleaned. All of the eggplants were rotten, with some growing white mold on their caps. Near some of the green veggies, I swiped my finger behind the plastic price molding strip to find ALOT of cold wet green slime. This is evidence of months of not cleaning. The tomatoes had some kind of oily or silicone like substance on them, which makes them shiny but also makes them harder to wash and disguises the blemishes. Because target charges a lot more for veggies, I expect higher quality. Whoever manages the veggie area has lost passion for food. I will check again, in a few months. Fruit flies found living in the onions. If you have an immune system compromise (1 in 5 people do), don't buy veggies at Norman Target. read more

No cashiers are employed by Target for 2 hours after the store opens. It took me almost an hour to self check out due to the machine only giving me .03 seconds to place an item in the bagging area before locking out the cash register. This would cause me to have to wait for the one person that was working front of house to come over and unlock the register, only to have it do the same thing on the next item. I think Target is off my list. I will not be spender my my money there. Seems they are competing with Walmart for worst customer service.... read more

The good: The store is very clean and the aisles are large enough for baskets to be on both sides and people and still move through... the employees are helpful and abundant... the store is laid out logically... The bad: however... if you like a wide variety of frozen veggies, breads and ingredients to cook from scratch - you will have to go to a different store. I just got back from doing my grocery shopping and they didn't have: bags of frozen spinach (only boxes), frozen pearl onions, masa, cornmeal, sage, fresh mint, very small variety of pickles, no pickled beets, small variety of dried beans, no shitake mushrooms and only 3 Bob Mills brand of anything (that's a crime!).. additionally, they had Fage Greek yogurt with the expiration date of tomorrow!.. So, I probably will not be going back to target for regular grocery shopping.. but if you like prepared frozen foods they've got tons of it.. I mean tons.. read more

Well on the surface it seems nice, but if your going to be using coupons things change. The representatives turn nasty, act rudely and don't understand what Target's actual coupon policy is. They treat you as if your trying to get away with something simply because of their lack of understanding and they are unwilling to try to understand. I hope that there can be more training involved and get more people on board with the understanding of their own policy, hopefully in the near future. read more

Oh I love you Super Target Norman! It's my go to spot when the boo is at a lecture or proctoring an exam late at night. Plus, it's on the side of town where everything is... Taco Bell, Ulta, Office Depot, TJ Max, Hallmark, Wing Stop, Quedoba, Homeland..... Ya, this area is the shiiznits! OH! If you want to save 5% off and don't want another credit card, you can apply for the Target Debit card and still get the discount. It connects to your checking account and you still reap the rewards... Worth it if you're an avid shopper like myself! They have a Coldstone Creamery (which, BTW has both Cake Batter AND Chocolate Cake Batter Ice cream YUM!!!) and Starbucks inside. I especially like their food selection because they carry Odwalla shakes, yummy assorted breads, Meyer's and Method cleaning/bath supplies...... If only Super Target could do the housecleaning for me... It'd be a match made in heaven. read more

I heart Super Target. We don't have too many places to get groceries in Norman, and Super Target has pretty good variety and great value. We go here about once a week. They are always clean, organized, and well stocked. This Target as a large parking lot and lots of other smaller businesses close by. There is a Starbucks and mini Pizza Hut inside. read more

This Super Target is like entering the 7th circle of hell. The main problems are not whats on the inside. They are attempting to get in or out. Parking is always a mess, but even worse (and I mean to the point that I cringe at the thought of going in here) you will wait forEVER at the checkout line. Same ole story as the other big box stores, 137 checkout lines and only 3 open during the busiest time of day. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the sliced sourdough loaves at the front door just like the next guy, but I would gladly pay twice as much for it if I could buy a little of my life back and not have to wait all day in line. What a dishonest place. Saturday I bought an advertised item, 6 pks of soda for $20. I was supposed to receive a $5 card. The clerk says no, it rang up $19.98 so you don't get the card. As far as Targets go, this one manages to have a lot of ready-to-expire foods on the shelves. It's really disappointing to get home and find that you should have eaten that lunch meat or yogurt yesterday, even though you just bought it two days ago. As a consumer we should look out for these dates ourselves, but as a Target customer, we shouldn't have to worry about short-dated food items. Target groceries continue to disappoint. read more

5 stars because it beats the heck out of Walmart and Sam's Club. This Target is extremely clean and I'm making it my new grocery store. They carry Naked Juice, Amy's, and organic oatmeal in packets. Their prices are decent and for the things I like, no higher than Walmart. I just moved back to Norman a month ago and was shocked to see that the only grocery stores are Walmart and Homeland, both of which I hate. I like convenience shopping. "Super" any store is likely to catch my attention. A little pricier than Wal-Mart, but the selection is better in many areas of the store (or at least different). It is clean and bright, has a coffee shop and an amazing ice-creamery in the front. One of my family's favorite features has to be the sushi in the deli section. No, it isn't some knock-your-socks-off sushi, but it is good, it is cheap, and it is quick. I was nervous to try supermarket sushi, but my teenagers were more brave and convinced me I was safe. I also like the cutely packaged candy selection they have, makes a great gift item when you are doing it last-minute style (like I seem to do often!). read more

I love the organic food they have there, only if its a limited selection. I love our new Target!! The employees are so friendly, and here's a shocker-they actually WANT to help their customers!!! Walmart could take many, many, many lessons from Target! We have had all of our prescriptions moved over to the Target Pharmacy too. They don't hassle you about having to talk to the pharmacist whether you want to or not and the pharmacist doesn't hide out, he/she works right there in the customers' views. We do spend a little more than we would at Walmart but it is so worth it for the clean, well arranged store with employees who really strive to make our shopping experience a pleasant one.
