They have a good selection of brands and a wide variety of sizes. The larger sizes have less variety but they are selling what they get in so it depends on intake. The dressing rooms are clean and a spacious. The prices are reasonable and vary based on brand. The workers are hot and cold depending on who's there - some are really nice and welcoming but other times I've come in and no one welcomed me or said anything. I am highly disappointed with this place. It needs to be shut down immediately. I came in with a huge tub of clothes that are just right for the spring/summer season. Most of these items were barely used or unworn and new with tags. I had American Eagle, Hollister, PacSun, Lululemon, etc. and they took nine things and offered me $23. WHAT A JOKE. If I could give this place zero stars, I would in a heartbeat. if anybody is reading this, please don't shop or sell your clothes here because they will rob you right out of your pants. The name literally matches them. THEY ARE CHEAPSKATES. not to mention the rude ass employee at the front counter. She didn't even bother to greet us when we came in to drop the clothes off. We stood there for literally 10 minutes and she was just staring at us and not saying a word, she acted like it was her first day on earth. VERY unpleased. also, I spent a very long time neatly folding all of the clothes into the bin I brought them in, and when I went to pick them up, the top couldn't even fit on the bin. they threw everything back in the bin and didn't even take notice to fold anything. lazy ass people. and trust me this is just the beginning of my uptown Cheapskate hate journey. read more

Definitely geared towards teenager clothing. When selling, it depends entirely on the taste of the employee going through your things. There is no rhyme or reason to it. They will pass on great brand name clothing from Anthropologie, Boden, and take things from Amazon and really cheap quality items, department store juniors type stuff. I always bring bags of neatly folded end clean clothing, and after they go through your stuff, they crumple it in a ball and stuff it back into your bag, without even attempting to halfway fold it. They also do not show you what they took when you come up to get paid, unless you specifically ask them to show you, which makes me suspicious that they could be taking more than they pay you for. You get an average of $3 per item. Overall, not impressed at all, and it's not really worth the time spent waiting to sell - may as well donate to the SPCA rummage next door and help a good cause! read more

This place is trash, brought some sneakers in that cost nearly $200. No creases and they were only worn twice. They would've turned a 80% profit on. Also the after looking around, they sneakers that were for sale were just as worn asa college students sneakers. This is just an over priced Goodwill. Never again. read more

This location is not good! Staff was very rude, unprofessional and acted as if it was a huge bother to help anyone. They are not friendly at all. I have been going to the Short Pump location for many years and they are so much nicer and way more pleasant. Had higher hopes for this location but to be honest it is worth the drive to Short Pump and they will accept way more items as well! I will not be back to this location. Would give 0 stars if I could. Also, never leave the store at the Charlottesville location they will take advantage of that because then you have to agree to whatever amount they say, you cannot get any items back, etc! First time at the store! Loved it. The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. Prices are great and they had a big selection of clothing. The building was a little hard to find, but once I got there, it was a great experience. One of the sales girls chatted with me about which item looked best on me, helped point me in a direction where I could find something else and I walked out a happy customer. I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE: I just find it super odd that the owner would delete my review not once but TWICE on Google, but honestly not too surprising considering how my review was centered about the micro-aggressive behaviour of the employees. I am not surprised that the owner shares those same views rather than trying to correct this behaviour. Long story short, my partner and I came into the store as sellers with high hopes considering they had high ratings(spoiler, the owner/management deletes the bad reviews with explanations!). We were first time sellers with this CHAIN(I assumed it was a local business, my fault tbf), so inherently we did not know their process as every thrift/consignment store is different and I do not live relatively close to the area. Anyways, we were met immediately with a rude attitude from their employees who seemed irritated that we were asking them about the process. I've worked retail for 5+ years and sure I've had some bad days, but I've never been mean to my customer lol but maybe that's just me. Anyways, we then proceeded to wait over 2 hours to get an estimate value for my SINGULAR grocery bag of items only to be told of an um interesting "store policy" that those who leave the store will be put at the end of the queue. Mind you, I asked the workers there the about whole process when I first entered, but was told that I could either shop in-store or go out since they were pretty backed up. BUT, I was never told of this policy and when I told the worker there she blatantly lied in front of the whole crew and told me that she did in fact inform me before hand. My partner was there for the whole process and did in fact confirm that what she said was NOT true. But that's not even the cherry on top, the pricing is what gets me! I came in with ethnic items and luxury handbags that costed over $200 each, where they would offer me only $3-4 dollars per item. I get needing to make a profit but only paying around 2-20% for an UNUSED luxury item and then reselling it for an exorbitant price is a bit ridiculous. For my fellow sellers, I highly recommend selling to a local consignment shop or even Poshmark! read more

What a joke! I brought in 5 pair of newer khakis, 2 pair of jeans, a brand new Florida Gators Hoodie, a trench coat in excellent condition, a brand new button up shirt and a pair of shorts. They offer to give what you do not want to charity, do not say yes to this as once you do it does not matter what they offer you, you have to take it. I was offered $11 for all the above. They obviously got the bags mixed up but did not care. The reps were rude and I will never go there again. read more
