I love the friendly staff, there are always hidden treasures to be found in this Goodwill, and it's well organized and laid out. The staff are in a tough spot having to explain to shoppers that they don't allow returns, only exchanges within 7 days for a like item (clothing for clothing, housewares for housewares) but any time I buy something from a Goodwill or any charity shop, I always ask what their return or exchange policy is if I think there's any chance I might want to return or exchange something. With Goodwill, if something doesn't fit when I get it home (their dressing rooms are closed in the pandemic) I generally just donate the item back to the store if I don't have time to exchange within 7 days. I figure, it's another way to support the continued existence of Goodwill, which provides job training and work experience for folks who are eager to develop their skill set in retail.
The staff at this particular Goodwill are so nice, helpful, committed to doing a great job, and really dedicated. I love chatting with the employees every time I go in.
The only suggestion I have for them is that when choosing which clothing items to sell, they might want to increase their inspection of the clothing; a fair number of tops and shirts here do have faint oil and butter stains on the front which are easy to miss on the hanger in the store but which are glaringly obvious when you go to wear the item. I just inspect everything extra carefully before I buy, but I wish they would increase their scrutiny before setting items out on the sales floor.
Overall, excellent store! Great people! read more
