I would give UPS customer service a 0 stars if I could. so my local UPS location keeps saying they will be picking up my package and they dont. I called in 2 days ago for a business pick up and nothing. This is not the first time UPS has not come to pick a package for a customer delivery. They have bad service. The local UPS in Ontario/Rancho never had a problem like this. We will be taking our business else where. Looks like I will shipping all my company packages through Fed Ex now.. Don't know the driver who delivered this package , but he was in my opinion rude and even if he was obligated by UPS regulations to deliver only at the identified address, he professionalism was poor: 1. My neighbor requested (via note on gate) that his package be delivered to my address being that his home had been vandalized before and he was not home. 2. I went to greet driver who just threw the item over my neighbors gate. 3. I advised him that my neighbor had identified my address for delivery and I would be glad to sign for him. The driver confirmed seeing the note on my neighbors gate, but did not acknowledged "the instructions provided by my neighbor". 4. Driver refused, claimed that If I removed the package he would call/ advise authorities and report my actions and potential DMV contact (what the hell did this mean). 5. I asked for his supervisors name, he did not reply! 6. I asked for his UPS Card, he did not provide me with anything. What the heck. My package was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday 8/4 I was home all day waiting all of a sudden I get an email stating they tried to deliver my package at 2:42pm. Worst delivery company on the planet. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Not one package out of dozens has ever arrived as scheduled when a vendor ships to my address via UPS. They the use boilerplate delay reasons like untrue weather related reasons when you try to get the latest status meanwhile Fedex trucks are delivering to my and other's homes in the same area on the same days when UPS states they cannot due to those delay reasons. Even when the status says they the packages have been rescheduled for the next business day, that gets delayed again with another random boilerplate excuse. I have a retail store, The driver decided to park covering the entire driveway. My employee asked him to move and he did not. He went to his delivery next door (same parking lot) to make his delivery then to my store. My employee told him again he cannot block the drive and asked him to move. He responded by asking him if he wants the package or not? This apparently escalated to a cussing match. The next day when I called,in I went over this. The lady said you cussed at us so we can ban you. I said what escalated it to a cussing match? She said I don't know but we can ban you. I said If that's what you think needs to be done than ban me. Wish I could give negative stars!!!! Worst customer service ever!!! Paid extra for next day air and it has 6 days and still no package! I have called and have been told I will get a phone call back and nothing. Then they said that they called me and my phone wasn't working.... but they left no voice message and they also didn't email me and let me know that they tried to call but the call didn't go through. I ordered my projector screen and it was being delivered by UPS. The day it was supposed to be delivered and was scanned into the truck along with my two orders from staples, I received my staple delivery and the driver marked my projector screen as undeliverable. The following day, the same thing happened. They say it was due to COVID-19 and was out of their control. This was the worst lie ever. If the driver was able to deliver my staples order, then why didn't he just drop off the projector screen at the same time. I called, and got no good answers, only that it was due to COVID-19. Drivers are delivering everyday in my area, and have no problems. So weird and unprofessional delivery. Don't know why these people still deliver when FEDEX totally does a better job at delivery services. Now I have to waste my time to pick something up that should have been delivered to my address. Worst customer service ever! First off, let me start by saying I ordered something that had express delivery, and was guaranteed delivery to my house by December 3rd. Beginning December 1st, I received emails from UPS notifying my package arrived earlier than expected and I would get it by the end of the day. It also required a signature, so I arranged for someone to remain home. The 1st came. And left. No package. I got a notification the following day it is back on the truck and guaranteed by the end of December 2nd. Again I arranged someone to be home, well the 2nd came an left again. By this time I was furious. Two days, no package, rearranging schedules for nothing. I contacted UPS via email, and the called me assuring it would be there Wednesday for sure. Wednesday the 3rd came and left. NO package!!!!! Contacted them again, with their same response, it will arrive Thursday the 4th. A day LATER than the "express promised delivery" I utilized. Well the 4th came and left. No package. Customer service called me yet for the third time to explain I now have 2 packages, that still have yet be delivered. When I told them I will be there Saturday to pick up, they informed me they are "vaulted" and locked up until Monday. This is completely and utterly ridiculously the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Monday the 8th came, my husband went down to get my packages. He arrived before they opened, only to discover there was a line of other customers with the same problem. Packages DAYS late, some even weeks late. When they opened, the person behind the counter couldn't find the packages, then told my husband to come back later, or that he isn't sure where the packages are. Needless to say, my hubby didn't budge, and suddenly they "found" my packages. Really? We pay for delivery, not to have to come pick it up ourselves. We pay for a specific date/time frame of delivery, not to wait and get it days/weeks later. They didn't apologize, they didn't go "out of their way" to understand my frustration and aggravation. Believe me, I understand it's the busy season. But you would think after 3 emails and 4 phone calls with a customers late package you would make it a priority to get it to them the following day! I order online quite often and while UPS delivers on time about 80% of the time, it seems that when I NEED something to be on time it isn't. So far, UPS is the only company that has delayed my shipments. Amazon, USPS, and Fedex have always exceeded expectations and gotten me my deliveries on time and even early in some cases. Lazy UPS Drivers! UPS drivers will use any excuse not to deliver a package to Green Valley Lake, as well as many other locations I have experience with. They always say "dangerous conditions"; like a little mud or fog; give me a break. Everytime I order on line I will even pay extra NOT to have it shipped UPS. I purchased something from a vendor and was given a specific date for delivery. I also used UPS's tracking to make sure the package was going to be delivered on time. The day before the package was to be delivered, it arrived at the local UPS Shipping Center, the next day the package was apparently placed on a truck for delivery. It never arrived. The next day the same thing ... package placed on truck for delivery and never delivered. The next day the same thing. Today is the 5th day of non-delivery. I wonder if the package was stolen off of one of their trucks, or perhaps crushed? They are not talking. Additionally, when you call their1-800-742-5877 number, they do everything they can to keep you from speaking to a real human being. You have to be persistent to get through, but when you do, you do not speak to anyone at the local office, you speak to somebody else in the Philippine Islands? And it is impossible to get an actual local phone number. Tried calling another number I was told to hold on and no one ever came back on the phone, called back after 20 minutes and now it rings off the hook!! The worst customer service I've ever seen. My first package was on the drivers truck for 4 days past the delivery date without a single attempt to deliver it. I called daily, and customer service said the local office (this one,) would call me. That never happened. I finally had to have them hold it at their facility so that I can pick it up myself. I'm still not convinced that they haven't lost it or something. Now, I have a second package that the driver will not deliver to my home. 3rd day. Have been waiting for numerous packages but none was delivered on time last two weeks. Most of them delayed at least 2 days, the longest was 16 days. Worst experience was receiving the pastries from Williams Sonoma. Of course they were not edible. WS kindly replaced it but guess what? Of course the replacement has been delayed. We are now laughing about our issues with UPS. They keep saying that they have been overwhelmed with the volume and are trying to solve the problem. Naturally, we were sympathetic about their situation; however, they do not even try to deliver or open the facility for the customer to pick their delayed packages up on the weekends to alleviate this situation. I am sorry to say this but if they cannot deliver the packages on time especially the ones which were sent via 2-days air or overnight (yes I am paying extra for making sure they are aware that the packages should be delivered as they promised), they should work on the weekends, seriously. Someone mentioned about their UPS guy told them that the mass shooting IS the reason and yes, we believe it would contribute to worsen the situation but more plausible reason we learned from a UPS guy the other day made us really perplexed (but it really made sense). San Bernardino UPS facility is too small for the Christmas season and every year they have exactly the same situation. Even though UPS headquarter has been aware the problem, they have ignored the situation because except for the holiday season, there are few package on the corner of the SB UPS facility. When we talked with UPS agents over the phone last week 4 days consecutively, they told us 10-20 trailers full of packages are sitting outside the SB UPS facility waiting for being unloaded. At that time we did not understand why it would be the problem but the UPS guy explained that they cannot unload packages in the trailers and sort them out until they have some space by delivering the packages which occupy the facility. Oh boy... Anyway, 3 packages were supposed to deliver yesterday, but as usual UPS postponed to today and I am waiting for 4 packages today. It is already 7:20pm, no UPS shows up as of now. They may show up after 9:00pm (once they showed up after 10:00pm) but who knows. I just gave up on UPS this holiday season. Next year, I will totally avoid any online stores use exclusively UPS. I am now using the online stores where only use FedEx or USPS or I can choose them over UPS. Funny thing is that Amazon kindly replaced 6 days delayed package, then the replacement delayed for a week, again they replaced it. All three same items were delivered on the same day... Figures. The customer counter clerk went to the back and dug through a 53 foot trailer to retrieve my package and save the day. I wish zero stars was an option. Drivers constantly misdeliver packages to the wrong homes. If you call customer care you'll never get to speak with anyone remotely close to your location and they are more than likely in another country. When you ask for the phone number to your local center they tell you they can give you the number for security reasons as if our packages are being delivered from the batcave and they don't want you calling. I can walk right in and talk to somebody face to face so why would you want an unhappy customer in your face when the phone is probably a lot easier? It would be nice to at least have a company take some responsibility for what they did wrong as opposed to trying to convince me that the driver did deliver my package to my porch even though my security cameras mysteriously don't show the driver even driving by my house anywhere near the time it was supposedly delivered. FedEx sure showed up on my cameras the same day and guess what? My Fedex package was actually on my porch. At least put me on hold and pretend like you're trying to help me as opposed to trying to make me believe a blatant lie. I would even take customer service telling me to go pound sand and they don't feel like dealing with it. I'll never choose UPS as a delivery service if there are any other options. I'd rather trust my package to a cowboy on a horse or tie my letter to a carrier pigeon than trust this company with the high tech tracking that's worthless if they choose not to use it. read more

Take all of the December 2015 reviews/details and consider them echoed. I have experienced every one of them. Now add the fact that the package I have been expecting to be delivered for the last 3 days is a very special Christmas present that is "Signature Required". That translates to my staying at home every day - all day and night - to sign for a package that has never arrived as scheduled each day. And I do mean all night - because I was told by the useless UPS customer representatives that deliveries could actually be made until 11pm. I could go on, but why? It's all been said. Something has gone terribly awry with the San Bernardino UPS Distribution Center/Hub. Update: 12/16/2015 8:30pm The driver just delivered the package. He was very apologetic and explained that the reason for the extended delay was due to the recent San Bernardino shootings. The FBI had closed their SB Hub for some time and deliveries had been adversely affected. If the UPS customer service representatives (1-800-742-5877) had been aware of this fact and explained it when I called, it would have made a lot of sense. Now I understand. I still can only give 3 stars due to the failure to communicate the extenuating circumstances. Very, very poor customer service locally. It is the subculture in the San Bernardino hub. Management is complicit in allowing staff and drivers to be rude. Our driver refused to bring our packages to the correct door at our house. Local management made excuses. Had to go to Orange County regional manager for help. When that failed, had to call corporate in Georgia. Finally the driver did his job. Recently he failed again. We complained. Now all our packages are "delayed due to bad weather." This happened the first time too. Then once corporate got involved the driver showed up with our dozen or so "delayed" packages and brought then to the correct door. Here we go again. read more

Convenient, quick drop-off location for all my shipments. On average my drop-offs take about 20 seconds. I always prepay and label my ups items online. Never pay at the store. I have also picked up certain shipments that i decided to hold at the store using ups MyChoice. My item pick-up took less than 5 mins total. First of all this place has limited parking because the employees are parked there when it clearly says CUSTOMER PARKING. I guess management doesn't care. I was trying to return a package to Amazon using my prime and UPS was supposed to arrive in one day to pick it up and create a label in front of me and give me a confirmation when he took the package!!!! Two days of the run around with UPS Customer Service and out right lies from the driver noting that he arrived twice on the same day and never showed up. Claiming to have been here so that UPS could get paid from Amazon!!!! No one ever showed up here since I had been home the whole time In plain sight to see UPS driver arrive!!! Driver claiming to have also left a printed label for me which was also a complete lie!!! I've filed a formal complaint with Amazon and as well as called numerous amounts of times and the last call the customer service rep! Put me on hold and then hung up!!!' This is so unprofessional!!!! So much so that I WILL be going to the Victoria location in San Bernardino tomorrow to find out who this driver is and bring it to the managers attention since customer service could care less!!!!
