My experience is similar to all the other one star ratings recently. How many one stars is it going to take before UPS wakes up and learns how to manage their business in Oakland? My package has been stuck for weeks at the Oakland command center. Because it is a heavy large package of furniture there is absolutely no motivation for them to either deliver it to me or even move it to the pick up area to pick up in person. In addition the only way for me to change the status from deliver to my house to pick up at UPS instead was to go to the Oakland command center and stand in line for an entire hour such that I could speak to someone in person. The person I talk to him person was nice and sympathetic but effectively told me that if I don't hear anything soon to just cancel my package and get my money back from the vendor. Unbelievable! read more

What a piece of garbage this place is. Every time my order goes through this HUB, my stomach sinks to the ground. There is always " Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed. / Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day." even though it's bright and sunny outside with no chance of rain or "Delivery will be delayed by one business day. / Your delivery has been rescheduled for the next business day." with no explanation. I'm pretty sure these stupid idiots who work here try to screen my packages because it came from a tech company and want to steal my stuff. This is such BS. UPS Corporate should really do something about these kinds of practices. read more

UPS - What the hell is this? I paid for 3-Day select and it's been a week. - Shipping Centers Near Me - Oakland, California

This is the infamous East Bay "Hub of Thieves." Their technique seems to be to steal items as they go onto the truck, before the truck even leaves the facility. They take the package onto the truck and scan it: your tracking info will show "departed from facility." Then they open the package, steal the contents, and scan the empty box back in to the hub: tracking info shows "arrived at facility" about 10 minutes later. They throw away the empty box so it stays in the system. This is Apple's East Bay hub and the thieves know this, so they sign up as seasonal UPS "helpers." I've given up on ordering anything smaller than a MacBook to our address. read more

UPS what can I say something about it I ordered some package from Amazon so it's supposed to be coming on June 18th when June 18th came it says it's on transit and that day pass it's going to be a delay so is due on the 19th in June so I seen UPS pass my me house quickness. So know UPS truck has GPS on it. So I asked my little brother to pick up my package to UPS Center I guess my package is in in the truck somewhere that was on June 24th now my brother told them I will pick it UPS CUSTOMER CENTER OF OAKLAND. Today is June 25 let see what happens I understand we got covid-19 going on but all the delays not to happy with ups I'm PO. I hope that's not going to take about a month or a year for my package to come read more

I have always had good service here but I've noticed the past 2-3 years it has been getting even better. I was expecting a package to be delivered tomorrow (Wednesday) but I requested for it to be picked up in person, I always request for my packages to be picked up to avoid porch pirates. Tonight (Tuesday) around 7pm I got noticed through tracking that it arrived and is being held for pick up. I remember them saying they started doing late will call pick up from 9-10pm. So I went and see if I could pick mine up even tho it's suppose to be Wednesday. A young lady greeted me and got my tracking to look for my package. Even though my tracking says it's ready, it hasn't been sorted but that wasn't their fault since I am picking up early. She went above and beyond and went outside to where all the packages are to look for mine. She could've easily denied my request since it's not actually the pick up date. While waiting another young lady saw me and asked if I have been helped. Because of the kind lady helping me, it saved me a lot of time since I know I won't have much time the upcoming days. There was another incident where another employee helped me get a packaged shipped by looking for the correct address just based on the minimal information I gave him, but I don't want to make this review too long. After reading the reviews here, people need to keep in mind to be patient. The workers here have to deal with a lot of customers in a day, some of them are irate customers and it's not the employees fault. read more

Was applying for a job here , the instructors out as useless as their service , the woman only talked about outside business in her classroom that she's suppose to teach how to properly work here , but all she did was talk about her personal life , play a video and come back when the video is finished and openly admitted she just plays the videos and leaves on purpose , leavening us with no one to even question mid video when the video has Multiple flaws with equipment being older on video , when it came to testing they want you to understand every single rule on the book and word for word how they like it , if you do the action and say what is needed to be done they will still not pass you over not pronouncing a word their way , the recruiter is a joke and won't teach you anything and act like she showed you something and in reality she just got paid for walking out of her classes repeatedly and focused more on her social and outside life instead of actually teaching. she treats her so called job a therapy session and a place to hang out , all for minimum pay for a company your only gonna be a number to , place is ran by weak supervisors that have no experience in management. if you want to work here for horrible pay and horrible people who don't have any qualifications in life so they come to ups to collect a easy check , sure good luck but you have to go through a woman who won't train you also act like a dictator when it comes to testing read more

I rush delivered my out of state bank debit card to me so that I could access my money . After 5 days of waiting for an overnight delivery package and no updates online I decided to go to the office to retrieve my package (something I do all the time). The line was wrapped around the parking lot, yet I waited . After talking to some folks in line I saw that there were people who had been waiting upwards of 3 weeks plus for "overnight" essential packages. When I got to the window employee told me they have no turn around or estimate time for packages (delivery or pickup), trucks are getting unloaded steadily with over half a million packages in the building, smaller packages are harder to find , they are overwhelmed, etc. it's a mess. They even recommended that I use alternative shipping companies ! An employee had the audacity to argue with me because I was angry (rightfully so) and say it's because of customers like me that they are backed up ! Where's the logic in that ? I told her without customers ordering from companies who contract ups she would have no job, she said that's not true lol. Clearly they are lacking leadership and competence and it's because of employees like her that no one is being helped ! We need a class action lawsuit this is blatant fraud. FYI employee is named Victoria. Please avoid her! read more

STOP HOLDING ON TO MY PACKAGES! Every time I ordered something and it's shipped via UPS, I never receive my packages on time. 2 days delivery becomes 5-7 days delivery. I track my packages and it keeps saying "Rescheduled Delivery" and "Delay Delivery". My packages was on their truck "Out for delivery" for some days now. They never made an attempted delivery and Peek Season is over. We do not have crazy storm here in Oakland, CA. My package does not contain any dangerous goods. They have no reason to hold on to customers packages for days. Customer Service is helpless. They are not able to help you and they will lie to you, saying that they will look into it and call you back. They will Never call you back. This is the worst shipping and customer service experience I have ever had, in any situation ever. My package is now EIGHT days late, after I paid over $400+, bought UPS's expensive 32x32 box to combine all my boxes in ($100), bought the insurance, and was assured it would be delivered on the specified date. The app has stated that my package is "Out For Delivery" for four days, I assume it's just sitting on a truck because the package is so large that the driver did not want to bother with it. So now it's Saturday, the distribution center is closed, and I can't even pickup my package until 12pm on Monday. This is OUTRAGEOUS and UPS you should be ashamed. I have called customer service a total of 4 times now and received nothing helpful other than their canned responses. I will never, ever be using UPS again. read more

My tracking kept saying I would receive this package today. It didn't get here today so called to have it held at the location for pickup Saturday morning as soon as they open bc that's how soon I need it, they're not even open and said I have to wait till Monday. By Monday the contents of the package are useless to me. Here's a current picture showing the tracking that says I'll receive it today, even though I'm not!! If they update their tracking to the correct information than I could have gone out and grabbed whatever I needed but now it's too late. Even made a few phone calls to ups throughout the weeks to make sure it would reach me on time and they kept assuring me it will. read more

I am super pissed off! I ordered a iPhone X from Verizon on Sunday May 20th. I missed the delivery truck so I had to go pick my package up at 8400 Pardee Dr. Oakland ca which is very Convenient! I go, sign for my package and proceed to my car ! I'm so excited so I opened my package in my car before I left and no iPhone inside!! There was a "nestle pure life" water bottle with a black glove around it.. I'm very irritated. Ups needs to change their staffing because what I'm hearing is that this kind of things always happens. Having been a delivery person for Amazon, I can completely understand how overwhelming it can be to get all packages delivered within the timeframe provided to the customer. I also understand that it is the Holiday Season, and that this is the busiest time of year for delivery companies. What I don't identify with is blowing the customer off and providing vague tracking information. I also don't relate to waiting over an hour to speak to someone, and no one picks up the phone. Xfinity used UPS to ship a "Self-Installation Kit." When I have tracked the package, it indicated that it would arrive by the end of the day of December 6th. Currently in Oakland, CA it is 10:03 PM. The last time the info was updated was 12:40 AM EST December 7th. What does that tell you? That UPS is extremely unprofessional, if for some reason they are unable to deliver as promised, shouldn't that be reflected in the tracking information? I frucking hate UPS, and will never, ever use their service or do business with such a bullshit ass firm. read more

UPS - Shipping Centers Near Me - Oakland, California

Where shall I begin... I worked there for the holiday peak season. I found out during the interview that I was being interviewed for a position that I didn't apply for. Don't know how that happened, but okay. That's another story in itself. So, I ended up getting hired for the day shift loading which ran between 10am and 2pm. Training was one week and paid. Not bad, right? The only problem I had with training is that they never put me in their "system" so I had to make up a few electronic tests because I couldn't login and I never got a badge to enter the building (Actually never even took a picture until the week before the day shift ended.) The tests weren't too difficult, but I had to play catch up to everyone else in the group. Fast forward to Friday, the last day of training. I was told that I would be starting next week on Monday. I'm excited and ready to start working. The very next day, Saturday, I get a call saying they're pushing our start date back a week. Okay, but the following week I get another call saying the same thing. So at this point they've pushed it back two whole weeks. "Okay, I'll be there." I say. Fast forward to starting day, I arrive at 9:45am. I'm early because we start at 10am or so they said. I'm waiting in line with everyone and out comes a supervisor to say that they changed the start time to 12pm as of that very moment and everyone could come in and wait. Oh wow! I'm a little irritated at the lack of respect for people's time. So 12pm comes around and I'm still there ready to start and finally I do. Everyday that I'm there I have to wait in line to have a supervisor sign me in because they didn't approve me for a badge even though I had asked a few times. So I guess I'll continue to wait till whoever comes out decides to do so whenever they'd like to. Sigh.... Fast forward to my first post training payday, they totally screwed up my check paying me for only for a portion of the hours I worked and I'm not the only one. They fix it by the end of the week and I'm okay with that. Everyday, I'm there on time to wait in a long line because I'm a dedicated, hard worker. The very next week it happens again. It's so bad that they set up tables with payroll employees to fix paycheck shorts. Once again, lines are long and I'm there. Fast forward to the last day of the day shift. I finally got my badge! On the bright side, no longer will I need to wait in a long line and for someone to remember the forgotten employees. On the other hand, the next day my paycheck didn't reflect the hours I had worked. I go up to the building to speak to a supervisor. I leave my name, number, email, hours I worked and the hours I had actually gotten paid for. He tells me that he'll get back to me. Never does. I proceed to go back 3 more times, one time twice in a day. No luck. I go back again, telling myself that this will be the last time. They walk me around, have me talk to a few people who are supposed to be able to handle the situation and when he tells me he should have a check for me on Tuesday, I'm happy and relieved. Fast forward to Tuesday, February 20. I go to pick up my check, they don't have it. "Give me a call again on Thursday. Hopefully it'll be done by the end of the week." Also, I forgot to mention on my fourth trip there I was told they were hiring and I could sign up that very day. Really??? Seriously??? Who wants to work for free??? Long story short, they got me to work for them for free. I still have not been paid. It's very unfair and illegal. They obviously don't value their employees time and hardwork. read more

Since the shipping center for my Hayward office package seems to be Oakland (Pardee), I'm Yelping this center. Too much to complain about, but here is a quick rundown of the runaround: 1. My substitute UPS driver was to give me 4 boxes, but one he could not give me one. I thought it was stuck under a pile of boxes, but he said he'll come right back to deliver. He never did. 2. Are UPS drivers supposed to be wearing headphones and playing loud hip hop? This guy was. 3. Called UPS and they told me they'd do a thorough search as they did not know where it was. Someone would call me within an hour. I told him they will not because they never do. He promised me and NOPE... no call! 4. Called again. One guy said it was in transit today (2nd day). He told me to wait until 7pm for the package... I asked him would he wait 2 hours after 5pm for a package that may or may not come? 5. Called again soon after. Someone else said it was at this Oakland shipping center.... Now after reading about the terrible customer service yelps, I'm scared to go here. But they said it was here to pick up today or tomorrow. To be continued...... PS: Yelp should come out with a negative star. read more

My mistake for ordering a 65" TV online. UPS delivered this TV broken, screen was cracked. Got my return started and UPS again has to come pick it up. Of course they never came to pick it up, but did left me a label on the door. I was home the whole time and never heard a door bell. I ordered a Uber to return this to their CC location. Got it scanned and a receipt. 3 weeks later, haven't received my refund, checked the tracking number and I realized it never left their facility. I called to check, they investigated and said they lost the package and will need to file a claim. How can you lose a 65" TV...... read more

I would like to give no stars, but can't. This is an update to my review yesterday. Went to the HUB to see if they'd found my packages: two shipments of jewelry from two different sellers. Both packages "lost." I'm told that small packages with heavy insurance are targets for theft. The assumptions, correct in my case, is that the contents are jewelry. Better to ship by USPS, where thieves are prosecuted for mail theft. Another package, shipped from Amazon, targeted for delivery on the same days, was also "lost." read more

When I purchase something and then discover it is being sent UPS, I groan. 19 out of 20 times their is a misdelivery, or an "attempted delivery" sticker pasted on my mailbox for three days in a row when I am home waiting for the delivery. Then they e pact you to drive to their warehouse in the middle of the night, after paying for their delivery service. I am waiting and waiting for today's delivery, something important, and relevant to my husbands medical needs, and guess what? The tracking service said it was delivered to the side door. Really really really really awful customer service. Like, really. 1. My long-awaited memory foam mattress arrives at UPS in Oakland. 2. I call UPS to figure out where my lovely bed is and discover that the driver "forgot" to put it on the truck. 3. The guy on the phone says they can deliver next day or I can pick it up anytime after noon that day (this was around 12:45) No problem! I'll pick it up myself. At rush hour. 30 minutes away from my office. I'm actually completely ok with this, because I HAVE AN AWESOME NEW BED! 4. Husband and I arrive at the Pardee location. Woman working there (I am later told her name is Vicki, so hopefully her management cares enough to read Yelp & sees this) is SUPER rude and basically tosses a pen & paper at us to write down our address so she can find our package. 5. Vicki returns 30 seconds later saying she can't find our package and that it would probably be ready tomorrow. I tell her UPS had told me earlier that I can pick it up anytime after noon. She flat out tells me I'm wrong. My husband tries to show her the tracking info on his phone and she tells him to get his phone out of her face (because 3 ft away is in your face, lady) 6. Husband gets annoyed, tells her to go find our package because that's her job. Vicki looks at me and says she's only talking to me now because he's unreasonable. I tell her that I'm not going to be any more reasonable after she's been rude to my husband. Lady tells us to wait and proceeds to help EVERY OTHER PERSON IN LINE FOR 20 MINUTES. 7. Finally Vicki asks us if the package is big and grabs a hand truck. That's the last we see of her. We wait for another 10 minutes and a different employee asks us if we need help because we are now the last people in the store. We explain the situation and he comes back 2 minutes later with our package, which was 8 feet away from us in their back room THE ENTIRE TIME. Terrible customer service. REALLY terrible followup- I called the UPS # and explained the situation. They told me the manager would call me by 7:30 PM. Of course, I never received a call. Seriously, people. You're a huge company and LOTS of people would love to work for you. Could you please hire some folks with the SLIGHTEST idea of what decent customer service is? read more

Fucking TERRIBLE! I make sure I'm home to receive an important package. Your driver pulls up outside of my house, sits in his truck without getting out for a minute and then takes off and my tracking updates to say, "delivery attempted. no one home." Are you fucking kidding me? This has happened so many times, you'd think they could hire some competent drivers. Then UPS "customer service" suggests that I drive out to east oakland to pick up my package from their distribution center. and they kept repeatadly saying that the driver attempted to make the delivery and I was like, "NO HE FUCKING DIDN'T." I had my door wide open. How are you going to say you knocked on it and I wasn't home when I'm sitting in my living room staring at an open front door. so customer support said the distro center would be giving me a call shortly (called customer support as soon as it happened) and I never got a call so I called back Customer Support. They said that the distro center called me but I didn't pick up so they left a voicemail. Never received a call, and I have received no voicemails. What a joke. I asked to speak with a superviser and they put me on hold for a half hour and then hung up on me. UPS IS A FUCKING JOKE! read more

Obviously, UPS headquarter has not address the many, many customer complaints from this awful hub as I am still encountering late deliveries of my packages, even ones with guaranteed services. As of late, they are holding three of my packages hostage from the 2-3 days from their arrivals. To top it off, why those packages will be not out for delivery the next available non-holiday business day (today), and just sitting around, is just frustrating. Calling their customer service center is useless, since the rep pretty knows only as much as what was already indicated on the tracking log. This place really needs an audit and management change! read more

Each time I walk in to drop off a package, it's like a ghost town. Employees are always in the back or on the side and not very quick to help. They are more focused on people trying to pick up (old business) over my trying to drop off (new business). I walk into Fedex just down the street, it's has better lighting, has carpet, ALWAYS somebody upfront to help you. Can't believe UPS is still around, it's a dying company. Also, I called UPS customer service 4 times; each time they said they would have the local UPS people call me. They never called. This is my first 1 star review. Even if I find a hair in my food or been snubbed at by the owners, I will politely give them 3 stars. NEVER ask Ups to hold your package for you if you missed it. When I called the 800 number on the slip from ups saying that I had missed my package, I was hastily informed by a lady who was rushing that I should come in between 8:30 -9:30 pm (really?? Ask us to come back specifically at night). I had no time to ask any other questions. Ok that's fine. I get to this ugly location and had t o wait 30 min and then was told that the truck was not in and asked to wait even longer. I am writing this as we speak at ups and hope that corporate sees this and do something about this. You misinform customer and make them work to get their package. I waited for a total of one hour and they just told me that I might need to wait till 10pm. Again, don't bother with asking the company to hold your package. They will send you to oakland in the middle of the night and make you wait. read more

Dude. UPS is pretty bad everywhere, but the incompetence reaches a new low in Oakland. Expecting a computer to be delivered on Tuesday. Naturally, I have to sign for it. So I sit at home all day. I have to be somewhere at 7:30, but UPS says that 7 PM is "end of day," so it should be good, right? Wrong. No package. I arrive home at 10 PM to find an InfoNotice with a 9:21 PM delivery attempt marked on it. OK. So I'm going to have to sit at home for a second straight day. I go to check my mail at 4:30 on Wednesday and find an InfoNotice *6 INCHES AWAY* from the sign on the front door instructing delivery folks that my unit is in the back. After a 45-minute purgatory on the phone with UPS customer service -- who first insist that there's no way to connect to drivers once they're on the road, and then magically are able to do so when I tell them that they're lying to get rid of me -- the driver decides that he did, in fact, make a mistake but that he won't come back to my neighborhood tonight. So after taking two days of sitting at home waiting for a package, I'm going down to the airport area to pick it up. Wow. Speechless. Sad. Service is the worst. I live in a 4 apartment complex, and I ALWAYS get a "delivery attempt" email. But guess what...drivers go to the wrong door every single time! And yes, they are numbered.. So lazy are the drivers, they go to the 1st door they see, which is an unoccupied space, and my place is off to the side along a visible pathway. Lazy, moronic, probably high, what is wrong with these people? I get to the facility at 8:30 pm to pickup my package. Only to be told my package was shipped in two. Apparently one of them was shipped back to Amazon because it was the 3rd attempt. Mind you, I went to the facility on the same day of the 3rd attempt, but ridiculously I needed to call and make it a Will Call pickup! How would i know that? Mouth open. The 2nd package was a 2nd attempt but unavailable for pickup b/c again, I need to arrange to pick it up. I want to cry. They only reason my head didn't explode, was the older adult with a kind face, wearing a cap & suspenders helping me was the nicest person ever. Not sure what all the hate is about. I ordered something from Microsoft, and unlike Amazon (who would have just let UPS drop the item on my front porch), this package required a signature, so once the item shipped I called UPS to let them know that I wouldn't be home to sign, and find out what my options were. They changed it to will-call and said i could pick it up on the same scheduled delivery day, and that I needed a government issued ID. No worries. I arrived on the delivery day and the only issue I had was having to wait in a line that was being held up by someone who felt that yelling and berating the person behind the counter was not only appropriate, but also productive. Spoiler alert: it's neither. I finally made it to the front of the line, showed my ID, collected my package, and was on my way . . . super simple. read more

Yesterday, a package was delivered in error. It should've gone to a home one street over...the house numbers were not the same so it seems the driver just wanted to finish his deliveries & head home...by the time I got to the door, the driver was already pulling off...too late to catch him to give the package back. I immediately called the 800 number for UPS, hoping that they would contact the driver so that he could retrieve the package. However, that's not how it works! The first person I spoke to (in India?) cut me off when he attempted to transfer my call to the local store. When I called back, the woman who answered in the local office (again India?) told me that the package had been delivered. When I tried to explain that the package was delivered to the wrong address, she argued that it had not. She was very stern & when I asked to have the package picked up she said she had to transfer my call. I hung up... Oh I failed to mention that the box was labeled NuWave. I looked it up and this oven cost over $150 bucks! Today, when I got home I decided to call the phone number on the label. A gentleman answered and said his daughter had probably ordered it for him. He had mention to her that he wanted a NuWave oven. I bet it was his Father's Day gift!!! Needless to say, I took the package around the corner & delivered it to a very grateful neighbor. He thanked me and as is the case with most of our elders was happy to have someone to talk to... While I am not happy to do the job of the UPS driver, I was very pleased to make this gentleman's day! read more

Look, I get it. I've worked in customer service, I know how much tenacity it requires, and I respect the hustle. It's therefore pretty rare for me to find an experience deserving of a 1-star review. Congrats, UPS, you really deserve it. Last week, I purchased a gift online for my sweetheart while she was out of town for the weekend. I paid the extra $16 for Next Day Delivery. The package shipped on Thursday, so on Friday, I stayed home and waited.... and waited... and waited. No UPS truck came, but mysteriously, the tracking status changed to "First Attempt Made." Hmm... I can literally see the entire street from my living room window. Where were you, UPS? Of course, because no one actually came by, I didn't even get the courtesy of the dreaded InfoNotice slip. This isn't the first time I've experienced this issue. A few months ago, I bought a defective phone and had a replacement scheduled for expedited delivery, this time to my work address. I tracked the package incessantly throughout the day, and I ate lunch at my desk so as to not miss my package. Suddenly, the tracking status changed to "Rescheduled due to holiday." I called and was told that the driver attempted delivery, but no one was in the building. I explained that I was in the office all day along with at least 8 coworkers, and that the building - which we share with many other businesses - was open as usual. I ended up leaving work early to pick up from the UPS location at the time they stated, but they told me to come back in a few hours. When I returned a second time, they tried to turn me away again. I persisted and they finally "found" my package. UPS has become synonymous with inaccurate delivery statuses, poor communication, horrible customer service, major inconveniences, long wait times, and lost packages. I'll be avoiding UPS in the future. What's worse, I'll probably be avoiding business with any online companies that don't offer an alternative to UPS. Yes, it's that bad. read more

The holiday season rapidly approaches. People are ordering goods for the various holidays. There are also people buying items they need for everyday use or their various occupations. If the items are ordered on-line or by phone, this means that someone will have to pick it up and transport it from point A to point B. Enter UPS. In my case, I ordered a custom-made musical instrument from a well known maker in Europe. I have several of his instruments and they are a joy to play and have exactly the sound I love. In the past, when he has shipped me my instruments, I have received them, via UPS, in two business days. OK. My last order was due for delivery on 11-30-2012 (Friday) and needless to say, it didn't arrive and going into the tracking module, I found out that it had been moved forward to 12/03/2012 by end of day. (UPS does not deliver on Saturday and Sunday) The following Monday morning when I tracked the package, I found out that my delivery had been forwarded to the end of the day and the package was out for delivery. (Residential delivery) Needless to say, the package didn't come and the delivery was forwarded to "By 3:00PM, Tuesday, 12/04/2012. When I tracked the package about 3:00PM, I found out that it had been moved fore ward to "BY END OF DAY, Tuesday, 12/04/2012. Needless to say, it didn't arrive... This time I emailed them and set my account for exception reports. The email response was "We are experiencing extremely high volumes" and the exception notification reported "THE PACKAGE WAS MISSED AT THE UPS FACILITY, UPS WILL DELIVER ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY" (12/05/2012). OK... So much for their credibility. It would seem that their right hand does not know what their left hand is doing. When I tracked the package this AM (12/05/2012) the tracking info showed Out for delivery. Normal residential delivery hours are normally 9:00AM to 7:00PM, Monday through Friday with a bold assertion "SOMETIMES LATER TO RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS" when you click on the "What's This" button and read through their tome of terms and conditions. It is now 20:04 (8:04PM, PST) and guess what? STILL NO INSTRUMENT!" All I can say at this point, regarding UPS, is that Murphy was an optimist! I have some gigs coming up in a few days and was hoping to get the instrument in my hot little hands with enough time to get used to its peculiarities, as no two instruments play exactly the same. This is especially true of wind instruments. It takes me at least 6 to 8 hours of practice to become automatic on a new instrument. Golly gee, Molly B! I hope this darned thing gets delivered before I die of old age. Update: Exception report from UPS: This just in 15 minutes ago: Rescheduled Delivery Date: 06-December-2012 Exception Reason: THE PACKAGE WAS MISSED AT THE UPS FACILITY, UPS WILL DELIVER ON THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY Head-desk... read more

I wish I could leave zero stars. My package never arrived. "Customer service" lied about getting in touch with me to track it. Nothing on the website was updated in five days. I finally gave up a week after the package was supposed to be delivered and instead of dealing with fake customer service at UPS, called the original shipper of the package and told them to cancel the order and let UPS sort it out. I have received all my other shipments on time from other shipping companies this month, but EVERY shipment from UPS has been delayed or completely lost. I will be as vigilant as I possibly can from now on to ensure that ANYONE other than UPS gets my shipping business. read more
