Helpful people working super hard - this has been my go-to ups store from 2018 to now and will…read morecontinue to be. Our company ships samples once or twice a week, so I'm in there often, and honestly every person there has been helpful, organized, and quick to help -- but mostly I notice they're all efficient to get people in and out and on their way as quickly as possible. I like the fact that they don't waste my time and get me out the door as quick as I can. Since Covid started, I've notice how freakishly busy shipping has gotten. There's sometimes half a dozen people there waiting in line, and the UPS team at Hamilton will often call out to or walk the line to ask if anyone has pre-labeled packages, so they're not standing there for fun. It's a group of really unique people who all seem to answer the same questions every day, figure stuff out for people who can't remember their Aunt Suzy's ZIP code, and politely tell people they can't take FedEx packages. I've even seen them literally show a guy how to open their front door when the guy couldn't figure out how to push. Seriously. So I've noticed the best thing you can do is to figure out in ADVANCE what you're trying to do and where you're trying to send your box o' goodness, to help them do their job as best as they can. Anyway, cool people there and I appreciate their help each time I go in!

Could have been better. the first part of the interaction is why I root for USPS, the second half is why the public sometimes do not support them. It would have been so easy to have been nice. But I was alas not from Lamont; I think that mattered too much to them. They are not a LPS (lemont postal service), but a US postal service. Not that this will influence their evaluation, it might help you, and reminder to self, if you are trying to avoid the large, too busy but on point post office in State College, try the one in Boalsburg, where I've had better luck.

What happened to this store!…read more Shopped here many years. Walked in today about 1:45 on a Friday afternoon. Tried to get something laminated. Guy at the counter wouldn't even make eye contact with me, I stood there for 5 minutes. Then he mentioned without eye contact that I would need to wait a few minutes. I walked away. I found a little box of envelopes I needed, LAST one on the shelf. Sliced all over with box cutter incisions. Like $60 for a box, but I needed them so ok. Entered checkout queue. 1 patron in front of me. He finished, so I placed my purchase on the counter. Cashier didn't even acknowledge me. Some guy walked up to the side counter and started asking about camera batteries! I lost my cool. I said OK, take care of this rude walk up customer, I'll wait . I want your attention. Camera guy left. Still no attention. Not asked if I had Staples rewards, etc. Then some Karen walks up behind me, starts demanding service from cashier. Says she has been waiting a long time! Cashier again ignores customer in front of him. I say sarcastically "hey, obviously Karen was here first, I am so sorry to inconvenience you with a sale, why don't you go help her?" He threw my stuff and receipt in the bag, never said more. He made excuses then to Karen, lots of folks off at lunch, he is only one here to deal with up to 3 customers! Thinking of the thousands I spent at this store, obviously overpaid. Found same purchase online for $20. WHY would I Ever shop here again? Obviously so I can create havoc for entitled line jumping Karen's, burned out copy center people with no customer service incentive,? Maybe to stand out front with employees to smoke a cig while customers wait (they are SO hidden by the front door). Maybe it's just this store. Seems like a desperate cry for help from management. Is this store about to close from apathy?
