I received a package today and the driver drove over my governor's driveway with his dual axle delivery van and damaged my lawn. He created ruts in the sod, deposited mud on the driveway. I spent an hour trying to fix it. What's even worse, I have tried contacting UPS to NO AVAIL. I live on Vanderbilt Drive in Nokomis and I am requesting that all drivers of UPS Vans park on the street and walk the package in. Thank You! read more

Their drivers are lazy and don't follow delivery instructions and when you call customer service, they say they will escalate and have someone call you back...It's been 2 weeks, still waiting for a call. I've called over ten times, each time with a new tracking number that the delivery driver didn't deliver to my front door. It's unacceptable and they just don't seem to care. read more

Used to praise this location, but after they closed the "Customer Centers" they have practically become unusable as a shipping company. We ship multiple times a week all over the country and I would say 98% of our Next Day/2nd day "Guaranteed Deliveries" have been beyond late and is 100% their fault. Now since they don't want you to drop of your own packages directly to them, we have been forced to drop off at a UPS store or request a pick up...funny thing is when we do that (well before our cut off times) the packages aren't being dropped off from the trucks until almost midnight (which needless to say is well past they cut off for air shipments). On top of that they will not refund us for the outrages rush fee's that they apply to those shipments, which they should because even after they get the packages even my "air" packages end up going ground which should in itself be cause to refund our company... There is only one lady there who actually seems to care about these packages now and has helped us multiple times, but doesn't matter when the company as whole just doesn't seem to care and has essentially stolen thousands of dollars from us from these rush fees without delivering on the services we have paid for. Using FedEx now (never thought I'd say that again) and they have yet to let us down. read more

I was to receive 2 packages on 8/12/2024. The driver delivered one only package from Cali. I had tracked my 2 packages same day delivery. I asked the driver about other delivery out the same day as tracked. He lied right to my face. Too lazy to go back out to his truck to get it and said may be delivered later. He had both packages out at 9:38 AM. I have spent 2 hours yesterday and again today to get correct information! The driver had no accountability or integrity. This female delivery driver 'laura' continues to engage in malicious conduct toward me, failing to deliver to my address and UPS has done nothing about it. Since 2019 I have had an ongoing malicious failed delivery conduct from your delivery driver 'laura.' Yesterday and today are the most recent. I had a very important delivery which was meant to be delivered yesterday. At around 3.30 PM yesterday I received an email saying my package could not be delivered. I was at home all day and I have a Ring security camera and no UPS delivery driver came to my door. No one rang the doorbell. The text from UPS stated the delivery would be attempted delivery within 24 hours. This morning at 8.00 AM I received a text saying they had not been able to deliver my package and the delivery had been moved to Monday. Once again, I was in my home this morning and once again, when I checked my Ring camera no one came to my door or attempted to ring the doorbell. Why are you allowing the driver to continue this abusive and malicious conduct toward customers who pay for their deliveries to be brought to their homes?? It has been five years of ongoing harassment by this female delivery driver!! When are you going to deal with this delivery driver? I can't get into my account. I called support. I get the Philippians. Very nice BUT hard to understand. They refer me to tech support ("somewhere in Asia"). They do not address my sign in issue and send me to hold for life. I just want to pick up my own package from the local distribution center so I do not have to stay home for my 4 hour window this afternoon. I dont know who the lady is, but she works evenings at the UPS center on 17th street. I had been waiting for medication all day and it was never delivered. I called panicking and this woman personally ensured I received it that evening, at 9:30pm. I appreciate your kindness ma'am and I hope you are able to see this. The call center is in the carribean, they would hang up on you and transfer you multiple times and even the manager would do the same without providing any help. Not even second time pkge arrived in this shape from UPS. I shop entirely online due to conditions I have. This one is from ULTA. UPS should hold high enough standards to not deliver except in perfect condition. Makes life so much harder for me let alone anyone else having this trouble. Shameful Given that UPS has to deliver the package in the way the shipper sends it its Ulta that's at fault here. Guidelines should be met by companies to prevent any damage from happening when it's going to be in trucks possibly under hundreds of pounds of other packages. They UPS actually taped it to hold together. So I'll give them credit for picking it up and sending back. It's not that I don't want or need it... I really do. The drivers seem to be totally incompetent. I have a parcel box by my gate and there are times when parcels are left anywhere but in the parcel box. Once I had shirt delivered. It was 3 day before I found them after thet sat out in the rain. The box says parcels, but my wife thinks United Parcel Service drivers don't know the meaning of the word. read more

It is NYE weekend and I had a package due to arrive today (the Friday before) I knew I would be at work so I made arrangements to have it shipped to my office. Lo and behold, UPS marks that they attempted delivery and the business was closed. I now wont get my package until NEXT TUESDAY. Now, I work for a security company. We are open and staffed 24/7/365. They put the definition of incompetence to a new low at the UPS Service Center at 1932 17th Street Sarasota,Fl.. Brought in 2 packages for shipping. After not getting any tracking information on one of the packages, I noticed on the receipt that the counter person scanned the same package twice but each had a different weight noted. That indicates to me that she intentionally scanned the same tracking label twice and then deliberately misplaced the package to hide her mistake. Went back to UPS at 1932 17th Street, Sarasota, FL the next day and they claimed ignorance about the package and kept saying to wait another day. I guess that was so it could get good and lost. Spoke to a supervisor at 1932 17thStreet Sarasota, FL ( I use the term supervisor loosely) who was rude and who went to the standard wait a while and then file a claim scenario. I mentioned I can't file a claim online because the tracking number isn't recognized and he gave me the wrong number to call and file one over the phone. UPS in Sarasota is Horrific. The Drivers do not attempt pickups. The destroy packages either in-rout or at the depot. Don't use UPS to ship anything to Sarasota they will destroy the package and break the item inside, or they will not show up to pick up a package and lie on the tracking report that they tried. If there is no sticker on your door or a door-hanger notice on your door knob they were never there. DO yourself a big fat favor and do not use UPS. read more

Service with UPS is by far the worse customer service. You're not able to speak to anyone in the USA. The hind or block the local numbers. If you have a problem with a driver or a package you get someone in India or china. They hardly speak english and can not assist you with the issue. Only apologize for the problem, how does this help. I don't need your "I'm sorry" I need to get my package shipped. Its truly sad that more companies don't use customer service in the US. UPS Sarasota strikes again and again! 2 shipments using this location arrived to my customer damaged and one, with merchandise missing, lost or stolen! Corporate UPS needs to evaluate this service center, the processing staff and package handlers along all routes to Georgia. I have never seen this lack of care ever in a shipper. It has been a nightmare dealing with this business after they lost my package. It was never sent out from the facility and my treasured set of expensive kitchen knives are gone. I had a driver leave a "sorry we missed you" notice while two people were home. This driver didn't ring the doorbell nor knock on the door hard enough for anyone to hear or make the dog bark. This is not the fist time this has happened. I called customer service and was told the nearest facility would called me. The lady who called proceeded to tell me all the addresses in my neighborhood that had packages successfully delivered. I told her my issue with the driver not ringing the doorbell nor knocking on the door loud enough to hear and she proceeded to repeat to same thing about the other addresses. She was quite curt and unhelpful. Not the customer service you would expect. Very unhappy. read more
