I just want to complain about the most rudest delivery driver ever. Here it is Thanksgiving week and I'm on W. Warm Spring Rd. Close to Durango Resort. In the medical district parking lot looking for building 110 to get results of a cyst on my bladder and nervous about hearing the results. I couldn't find the building 110 and asked one of the UPS workers from the truck and he was polite and said sorry. Looked like he was assisting the driver. The driver popped his head out and in the most rudest tone said we don't know addresse. In dribing around the lot / buildings it was right next store to the delivery he was making. He then saw me to saying it's not their job to assist people and that I should know where I'm going. TALK ABOUT RUDE. This makes me want to never use UPS ever again and will tell all my friends and coworkers. I received shipping notification from Apple Computer that my new iMac would be arriving right in the middle of four days I was going to be out of town. I tried to redirect delivery before I left finally getting ti done through Apple itself. When I got home, there was no slip on the door nor did I get an email to let me know where it might be. In tracking the package, all I knew was that it was being held somewhere. My local UPS store took my tracking number and called a private number and found out that it was here at the MLK Customer Service Center. I drove down, found the garage, and followed the signs to the pickup/dropoff area. I showed them my driver's license and they found the computer in their inventory when their computer was checked. At first, she couldn't find the package and he looked in another area. She went back to the original area and found the box. After offering to take it to my car for me--it wasn't needed--I was soon on my way home with the computer. The employees were very helpful. A word about getting hewre. Although the address says North M.L.K. Boulevard, you have to go east on Bonanza from MLK. As soo as you make the turn on Bonanaza, you'll see a UPS sign on the side of a garage. There's an alleyway just past the garage. Turn into that alley and the entrance to the garage is there. There are signs above showing you where to walk to get to the office. They explained our shipping options and prices so we could ship our boxes with a piece of mind. Plus, they have covered parking. UPS has the worst customer service! I ordered two items which were delivered separately. One was delivered by the post office and the other one by UPS. The package never arrived because they stated no apartment number, so they returned the package to the sender and they could care less! The address is a home not an apartment and customer is not concerned and offers no assistance on how to get the package back, just a bunch of excuses!! I'm sick of this bs!! We had a Christmas gift to be delivered by Christmas. We missed delivery that needed a signature as they came after dark on 12/21. They said that the package would be out for pickup the next day and tracking said it was being processed in very early morning hours. Two days later and still there now saying delivery on 12/26. Tried to call on 800 number but computer said could not contact to a person. Of course the local delivery office is closed on weekends and holidays so nowhere to get help. An item that was promised delivery before Christmas will not be in time so of no use now. They should have contact people everyday especially at this time of year. I notified shipper that this will be returned as will any other items shipped by UPS and others will be refused. Way to destroy a holiday. The Grinch is in charge. Nothing but complaints about UPS: When an envelope is sent overnight with delivery by 1030am, it means it's very important!! When a driver needs gate access, call the business! Instead, I have to spend hours with a call center overseas who have no idea about logistics here. Asking for a manager is miserable. Then, the package was "lost". Once it was found, I had to go pick it up! The message doesn't even include the address where to go. When I arrived, I had to wait for other patrons shipping out. There should be a separate line for picking up. Horrible service all the way around. My FedEx driver knows if my car isn't there, I'm not there. 2 things. 1: If you're going to have expected closures in the middle of the day, and reopen that same day, relay that to your customer service team at the 800 number. Called to confirm that I could pick up my package, only to arrive to be told they were closed and to come back at 7pm. 2: The attitude I received when I was just trying to respect social distancing was completely unnecessary. I understand no one wants to be in the world at this time. I also understand that you may not like your job. That is not my problem. I have been waiting for them all day along with my 3 guard dogs. instead of the driver knocking on my door he just laid the shipping labels at my front door and left. My three dogs go nuts if anybody knocks on my door. Try knocking on my door next time driver even if I have two 89 lb packages. Lazy butt. Nobody arrived at that time the driver says he attempted his 1st Delivery. I went down to the Customer Center 3 times. The driver STILL haven't came there yet. after I received a call from UPS saying the package is there at the Customer Center It's ready for pick up. I literally stayed 30 minutes till close time, to see if the driver arrived. Nothing! I understand you get busy! and it's not an easy job. but please don't make false statements especially when you put it in writing. I have proof to back up my end of the story. video proof and in writing. I am definitely going all the way to the top with this. this has to be fixed. Not fair. Corporate needs to address this issue. it's not a good reputation for UPS. A multi-billion dollar Company. I ordered something off of Facebook Market I sent the shipper $70 for the items. $30 went to UPS shipping and handling. I waited weeks and did not receive anything. Come to find out UPS does not ship to PO Boxes which they did not tell the shipper that until afterwards. I finally got ahold of UPS they claimed they shipped my item to an address will not give me the address they shipped it to. It has been months and I have not received any of my money back they did reimburse the shipper the $30 she paid for shipping and handling. I am out of my package and $70. Another package late because of UPS. Was supposed to be delivered on 6/4/23, then on 6/5/23 and now 6/6/23. Tried to talk to somebody at their customer service line, however their automated system would not understand the tracking number so it would not transfer me to a representative. Called the headquarters, the representative there who confirmed that the item was still at the distribution center. They said that I could no go there and pick it up because it has been placed in a bag to go to the postal service and nobody at the center is going to go get it out for me. That's right. They are screwing up the shipment and the having to postal service actually deliver it. Every time I order something that is shipped through United Parcel Service it is always very late or damaged. If you do manage to get past the automated phone system and speak to someone about arranging to go get your own package they will promptly ask you to pay and additional $7.99 to spend your own gas and time to drive there. Is it really that hard for someone in the Philippines who thinks they speak English for them to connect me to a live person at this location. I have had 2 packages returned back to the sender because they could not find my address. It's in Google maps and Best Buy, Costco, USPS and all local utilities can find me. Even Uber Eats found me. So I ordered a part for my car, a part that it can't run without, and paid $90 for overnight shipping. At 2:15pm the package was still at the facility, I called and was told "it won't be delivered until Monday, it's still locked in the trailer." What does that mean, it's still locked in the trailer? Terrible service. They notify you of a delivery, make you wait all day and night.. Till 9pm..really? And then no show. You deliver my residence at 9pm? Very unacceptable service. These UPS drivers are the worst. I was in the middle of washing my hands. They first attempted to open my door (nobody leaves their doors unlocked these days). Next he knocks loudly without introducing himself (I caught this all on my ring camera). He waited all of 20 seconds and is already writing a note saying I wasn't home. He really couldn't have waited a whole minute before leaving? I call up the UPS help center, which is overseas. Got some old Filipina who didn't know what the UPS customer center hours are and gave me the wrong hours. Apparently my package was sent back to the facility around 7 pm. They are open from 10 am - 6 pm M-F, closed on weekends. Can someone please update their f$%@ing hours on here? This would have saved me the gas to drive across town. Also, they're scamming people by making them pay $8 to pick it up after hours, when after hours doesn't even exist at this location! I hope UPS seriously goes out of business. read more

I will be contacting corporate for sure. Last week I ordered shoes from finishline and it just so happens I get home not even 30minutes after delivery and no packages are at my door. I have never had anything stolen from my door, I live in a gated community at the end of a cul-de-sac and get multiple packages a day. I called UPS and was instructed to contact the sender to resend missing packages. So after getting the items sent out again this week, you guessed it, same thing. This time my daughter was home no one came to the door, and my neighbor had their camera turned towards my door so that we could see what happens. The UPS driver never came but marked the package as delivered. I called UPS who said they were sending an urgent message to the dispatch manager who would be calling me in an hour. Not to mention this time my packages required a signature to even be left. These workers are faulty and thieves. We not be allowing any more packages to be delivered from this company I will pick up my own packages from now on because they cannot be trusted. ***update*** I went to the Customer Center and asked for the manager to tell him what happened. He called the driver and asked if he had been to my address and delivered the packed. Assuming the delivery guy on the other end of the phone said yes. The manager told him go back and pick it up from where you delivered it and bring it in now. (Recap- my daughter is home and no package was ever left) the guy shows up with the package and says he left it at the door . The manager scans the package not one but 2 and guess what. It's my packages from last week that went missing not today's. Proving he stole it.y husband is now furious about this and the manager tells us he just wants us to sign for the packages and leave the store. I am convinced they either know he is stilling packages and doing nothing about or they are also doing the same. So per their own fckn website my package sat in their facility over 24hrs for some unknown reason just sat there with message saying package delivery delayed by 1 business day ... o_Ok .... fine I'm working on my patience so I wait. It's not an international package. This was an online order, and the shipment apparently originated from within my state. Nonetheless, The message said it will be delivered tomorrow by 22july by 9pm. That was yesterday and it is now 9:31pm pacific on wed 22july and my package has still not arrived. The UPS system still says it's in transit, and scheduled for delivery today at 9:00pm ... o_Ok ... Mind you I spoke with 2 agents #1 at 7:34pm and #2 at 8:49pm both nimwits said it's out for delivery and will be there today on time as driver is en route and they must complete all scheduled deliveries on the truck on that day. I knew it was utter bs but yet I say ok and ask nimwit #2 how late agents would be available to take calls. She responds live agents are available to assist you 24hrs / day. I say so I can call back at 9:30pm when this package still hasn't shown up. She says yes. I reluctantly say ok and hang up. At 9:15pm pacific I start dialing the UPS phone number only for the annoying ass automated system to say 1. That my package is scheduled for delivery today at 9:00pm and 2. Live agents aren't available after midnight eastern time... which is what time on my side of the country?!?! $10 for the person in the back who responded 9PM PACIFIC .... how can one company foster so much incompetence? FedEx has no problem. Even USPS is able to function at a satisfactory level. DHL actually got a package to me from flipping CHINA in less than 3days (July 2020) But Nooooo. Not UPS. Currently I'm here venting on the internet. Still No package. No customer service. This useless company only has 1 ONE JOB and that is to deliver packages. ONE JOB. Called ups they said they would get back to me and never did. I also filed a claim that was closed due it being signed off when the package never touched me or my family members hands. My husband and I arrived at the Center today early afternoon. We were loaded down with numerous cartons that needed shipping. The gals on duty were awesome. They jumped right in to assist us. They recommended consolidating our boxes into one very large carton since everything was going to one location. They repacked it all and saved us a bundle in shipping costs. I've had to deal with this UPS center twice now both times horrific. First, the driver claims to have delivered a package on a day when I was home, but no package or packing slip ever arrived. UPS customer service is pathetic and told me to request that a replacement be sent. This was a package that I needed in a timely manner for graduate school that was being shipped from student to student for an online program. Thanks to a driver being too lazy to walk up three flights of stairs this state-funded university was robbed of $800 worth of testing supplies. Good luck talking to an actual person or getting an apology for lazy/ incompetent staff. The next item that had to be delivered by UPS I requested a signature be required. The delivery was attempted 3 times at the same time during the work week, nowhere on the delivery slip does it say "the third attempt will be our final attempt." But here I am now having to go 45 minutes out of my way to pick it up because the driver doesn't have common sense and the delivery slips don't have an "I'll be home at this time" option. Oh. I also had to request that it be held at the awful facility before 6 pm the evening of the final notice or it would have been shipped immediately back to the sender! You've been warned. Both Tee and Chris at the MLK UPS Customer Center are rockstars. My package was lost, and I thought it was never going to be found. Both Tee and Chris went above and beyond call of duty. They did everything possible to communicate with the UPS driver and finally found it. Package was for my livelihood. So, I am very grateful. The message is to be thankful every day.
