Smash burger and extra fries!
Calvin T.

Fantastic burgers and french fries are awesome! After a wonderful visit to the Museum of Art and Culture we dropped by for a light snack and drinks. Perfect pit stop!

This is a great brewery in Spokane. They have lots of different food options along with a great beer selection. I ordered their smash burger and thought it tasted very good. My husband ordered their cuban sandwich, which was also tasty. The inside is a very large space. They also have outdoor space where you can bring your dog. If I was in the area, I would definitely come back here.

First time visiting this brewery and I'm glad I finally did! This is a really cool space! The location has a nice outdoor seating area, the decor inside is modern and inviting, they have board games, arcade games, big TVs, and lots of seating area! The staff were all nice. The food didn't come out super quick, but we were there to hang out for a while so it wasn't a big deal. Plus, they were super busy. We ordered a flight to try the beers, and did restaurant week menu to try some of the food. The beers were good, not the best I've ever had, but they were still good. I did really enjoy the guava. It was like a sour, but also hoppy. Really great balance. I got the pork taquitos to start, they were good and the sauce they were served with was also good. I will say they looked and tasted just like the frozen ones at the store. For my entree i got the Nashville chicken sandwich. It was alright, the pickles on it were delicious! The fries were pretty tasty as well. I don't think I'd order this chicken sandwich again, but it hit the spot well enough. All in all we really liked this place and will definitely be going back!

Traveling through, and this was a great stop! Clearly marked gluten free options. Even a gluten free beer. I tried the banh mi bowl and it was everything I wanted! My husband and son loved the pinball games while we waited for the food.

The very refreshing Guava Gose from Uprise Brewing .

Uprise is a newer brewery that opened up in Spokane from my last visit there a few years ago. I love the taproom as it is very fresh and sleek looking. It's also a very popular brewery and parking was a slight challenge but nothing that I wasn't willing to see all the way through. I had their Guava Gose which was a pretty decent Gose as far as that goes. What usually happens is I haven't had a Gose in a while and when I finally do I realize I wish I had one sooner. Flavor highlights with this beer are tartness, sourness, fruitiness, saltiness and of course the guava itself. Nice beer overall and well handled with it's complexity. Would be interested to try out some more of their beers for sure.

Wonder atmosphere, fantastic staff, traveling with a gluten free teen and she loved all the food! Good beer for the adults of the group. Served us all well. Highly recommend.

This place is clean and the staff are really nice and considerate. They have fun games you can play too. I had a burger, it was cooked perfect but the meat could have been more flavorful. It feels cute and modern. Order at the counter then sit down. They also have trivia on Tuesday which I have yet to check out. The lemon mousse did not taste like a mousse to me though it was more like a pudding. Still yummy but not whipped enough to be a mousse in my mind.

We came here on a cold wintery night. The place had about 10 people there. It's a nice, clean place. You order your beer and food at the counter. The employee was very nice. We had their taco special since it was taco Tuesday, a bowl, forgot what kind my daughter got, chicken tenders and I got the taquitos. Everything was very good except for finding a nice size bone in one of my taquitos. I was lucky I found it instead of breaking a tooth or choking on it. I brought the bone to the employee and showed her, telling her to please let the cook know to be aware it was in my food and to be more careful. Other than that this place looks nice and I'm sure the outdoor patio in the summer is nice. They do have a few arcade games. The bathroom was very clean. We will come again when we are back in town.

This was our second visit to Uprise, but our first visit bringing our pups and sitting on the patio. It was so awesome! The patio is clean and comfortable. They even have dog bowls to fill up water outside for the pups. Our dinner was perfect and delicious just like the time before. There were several other tables with well behaved dogs and no issues whatsoever. Its so nice to have a place to relax and have a meal and beer away from home where everyone in the family feels welcome. The atmosphere was so perfect for a warm summer evening. We feel lucky to have a place like this so close to home!

Good beer and fries. Plenty of seating inside. Get there early for outdoor seating. Will return in the future.

Honestly, Wooden City really lives up to its hype. It's an upscale spot right in downtown Spokane,…read morebut still feels warm and lively instead of overly formal. Definitely one of the best-quality restaurants in the city, where every dish was thoughtfully made and packed with flavor. What we ordered: Starters: - Spring Salad: Super fresh and well-balanced. The snap peas were crisp, with strawberries added for sweetness, and the goat cheese + pistachios gave it a creamy, nutty contrast. The lemon & tarragon vinaigrette tied everything together with a light, herby flavor. - Jerk Cauliflower: Crunchy cauliflower with Caribbean spices with a creamy jerk sauce, good as a side Appetizers: - Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp: Really juicy and spicy from the Cajun spice. There's butter to dip in but I found it too greasy and prefer lemon instead. - Blistered Hungarian Peppers: Smoky pepper with some sweetness and savory from the sausage and cheddar. Served with a toasted focaccia that soak up all the sauce. Main dishes: - Chicken Schnitzel: One of the must-orders. Crispy, golden breading, super tender inside. The lemon & caper butter sauce added acidity and richness that elevated the whole dish. Yoy have to order extra because it's never enough for the table. Yes, it's that good. - Marbled Duroc Pork Chop: Another favorite . Juicy and tender, with 'nduja salsa brava bringing a spicy depth, while lemon tahini and marcona almonds added creaminess and crunch. I always missed tasting this dish like my first time - Beet Ravioli: Earthy and slightly sweet flavor, nice texture but I hate goat cheese so I'm not really a fan of this dish - Pesto Bacon Pizza: Delicious crunch, loved the combo of mozzarella and gorgonzola, kind of creamy with a bit of funk. Balsamic do help balance and gave it a sweet tangy flavor, or else it would be too heavy for me (yes, not a pizza fan) Drinks & Dessert - Not Mai Tai mocktail: very aesthetically looking drink, but a bit too sweet to my liking - Apple crisp: cozy and warm, with baked apple & pecan crumble and served with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious ice cream. - Pumpkin cheesecake: My 3rd favorite of the night, I still dream about it!! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, you shouldn't skip this!!! That said, I do have to take away a couple points for timing. Our foods took 45 mins to come out even though I had reservations and note the menu items via the email, and the wait time between each dish was also... very confusing. It broke the flow of our meal. But once the food hit the table, it was hard to stay mad, so I forgave them.

I feel like I just went to a dress rehearsal about a play about a group of friends who got together…read moreand said "How about we open a restaurant? That would be fun!" Tonight was just so strange. First, I had no idea who was an employee. There were two girls that were going around together over and over, they kept stopping at tables so I think they worked there...but they never had anything in their hands. Our server seemed to keep forgetting we were there. Or just forgetting she was employed in general. Seriously just not with it. She was very nice...when she remembered we were there. I will say the pizza crust tasted amazing. So many places that serve pizza think of the crust as just something to put toppings on, but this had great flavor. Sadly, it was rolled too thin and said toppings made it somewhat soggy. Caesar salad was ok. Romaine was really fresh and crisp and the homemade croutons were still a little warm. Very good. However, the dressing was rather bland. And when I asked for pepper for it, our waitress first had it in her head that I expected some kind of peppers on my salad. When she finally understood I meant black pepper, she went away. Eventually she returned. Not with a pepper grinder or a shaker, but a sauce bowl that had about 3 tablespoons of black pepper in it. I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. I think if a grown up showed up and brought the kids into line, this place would be amazing. Also, for what we paid, I expected to be wowed, not left wondering what I just experienced.
