No telling me "My wife had to be there for the initial visit" (That is also a timeshare selling tactic) No Special "back to school pricing" gimmicks. No buy one get one free. No LYING and saying the competition makes inferior windows (Then when you see what Window universe does it is actually better than the other company) I got 18 quotes for work on my house 5 window quotes. so I am tired and cranky. I didnt call Window Universe intially. (my mistake) I had one company (Who I wont review) that was all the way up to getting a downpayment from me. They seemed good initially but I had to fire them when they didnt show up (it was a fourth offence) Too bad. Well I called Window Universe they came out fast. The quoting process was fast. The person (lance) who came out was very personable. Now I didnt realize this but their quote was 1500 less than the other guy I fired. Also Lance is a dialed in person. He called Provia on my door and he told me that the door I was getting was not compatible so we had to switch. The previous guy was going to give me that door with the side lights. (Was it going to even work??) yeah so there was that. The appointment took minutes. We also talked about basement glass block windows. Their prices. Right on the sheet AND they were really good about 1/2 what I expected to pay. So I am going to do that too before the winter. Anyhow when all was said and done Window Universe was less than the guy I almost used and Lance double checked he got the proper sized windows and sidelights. Great experience and I still have 3+ weeks before the windows show up. Ill come back and add some pictures after it is done. I know it is going to be great.

I was told it would be up to 8-12 weeks until receiving the products so I told them I'd have to return to Ohio for it to just give me a couple of weeks notice. I ended up getting a call that they wanted to install the next day after only 3-4 weeks! That was fast! But I wasn't able to get back there that quickly and had to make arrangements for someone else to let them in. My not getting to be there I have no idea how it looks or works. According to my tenant, the sliding door wasn't shutting properly or locking and the paint needs another coat or 2. I called Empire and they went out at my tenants convenience and fixed the door/lock. Awesome service! Great pricing. And we will see how the quality holds up after a winter and a summer in Ohio. I have a great feeling that Empire being a family business will only be a phone call away if needed and I love supporting those businesses! These are the only pics I have so far. I just noticed there's no screen in pics so I'll have to make sure there is, but something tells me empire has done it right. I just didn't get the final pics. I will do business with them again on other condos I have and I will recommend them!!!!

After further inspection I noticed that my porch because of getting wet attracted carpenter ants and they did a lot of damage. I learned that summit awning also does many other services. So I hired Summit awnings to repair the damage to my porch. I also asked them if they would install windows on my porch. I was very pleased with the results. Everything turned out great. My hat's off to Jason, Dawson, and the rest of the crew for doing an incredible job. I believe I will have future jobs for them and will not hesitate to let anyone in need of repair, service, or an awning know that this is the place to go.

I called him again about a week later and left a voicemail. Still no response after a week. I can understand if something came up or if he didn't want to do the project upfront when we met. This has delayed our project from being completed. I believe this is completely disrespectful and unprofessional behavior to customers. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Their quotes have always been the most reasonable I could find in the area. Moreover, the level of honesty, professionalism and responsiveness is unprecedented. Petti Construction replaced our roof last week and the crew of 8 was polite, courteous, punctual, and did an amazing job the entire day. They thought of things and asked questions I would never have anticipated (educating me and sharing why I should not put a satellite dish on my roof). Petti Construction delivers on what they promise every single time. In fact, after a bad storm, Gary Petti just stopped by to check on the roof without any prompting from me! About 1 year ago, Denny Thomas came out in regards to a leaking bathroom exhaust fan - in both…read moreupstairs bathrooms. He noticed a sag in the flex tubing exhaust. He thought the water might not have been escaping, and instead, pooled up causing a belly in the flex tubing. Over time, he wondered if the water released back toward the fan and settled in around the fan, causing staining on the ceiling. He fixed it but said that may not be the root cause but to reach back out if the problem seemed to get worse. It's been about a year and the problem wasn't fixed. I reached back out and he came out the same day to try and figure out the problem. He decided to replace all of the tubing in both exhaust fans with an insulated tubing (thinking condensation was the issue). He, once again, said to reach out if it wasn't fixed. BOTH TIME, HE WANTED NO MONEY FOR HIS TIME. He said it was a very simple job and not much time. I wouldn't let him leave without taking money, but with companies charging lots of money for estimates, it's amazing to see a company willing to go to this extent - actually do the job and not ask for money says a lot about him and the company. It's great having a company you trust for home repairs. I won't need another number - and you shouldn't either!!

My wife noticed a leak from our roof that was already pushing 30 years old, so we called out some…read morecompanies to take a look and get some estimates on the work. Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.
