    Lots of TVs here

Fun environment to have a drink, eat good food and watch music videos. You can also watch the gambling down below. Josh is an amazing bartender and server. Very courteous and kind. He also has a talent in making a mean old fashioned. He made me feel welcomed and cared for. P.S. the smash burger is the BOMB! P.S.S. Manager stopped by and asked how everything was.... Nice!

Their spicy chicken sandwich that was supposed to be the other chicken sandwich. I cut it in half & smashed it down to be able to bite into.

Hubby, our daughter, sister-in-law & I had dinner here Saturday night. It's clean, nice & like a fancy bar. You can see all the huge TVs in the casino. We were seated right away. Our server was prompt & friendly. Hubby got a beer, my sister-in-law got a margarita, I got vodka and cranberry juice, & our daughter stuck with water. For food hubby got the club sandwich and fries, sister-in-law got the burrito, daughter got the loaded cheese fries, & I ordered the chicken sandwich (birdie) & fries. Everyone liked their food, but I got the wrong sandwich. I got the chicken sandwich that was spicy. I do not like spicy food. I didn't send it back because everyone would have been done eating & waiting on me. I just dipped it into ranch & managed to eat half of the sandwich. Although our server was good & checked on us a couple of times, one of my biggest pet peeves is the dishes not being cleared from the table when we are done with them. The dishes were still on the table when we left.

We had the trio with chips, wings and the cobb salad. Service was good, the food was delivered quickly and tasted even better!

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND READ THIS--Portillo's at 7200 W Ray Rd in Chandler Has Just Redefined…read more"Heaven on a Plate" with the BIG BEEF DIPPED and That CHEESE SAUCE... OMG! I've had Italian Beef before. I've loved Italian Beef before. But nothing--NOTHING--prepared me for the transcendent, jaw-dropping, flavor-explosion experience that is ordering the Big Beef DIPPED at this Chandler location. If you haven't done it yet, you haven't lived. And if you've had it elsewhere but haven't had it here with their cheese sauce... well, buckle up, because you're about to discover your new favorite thing on the entire planet. From the second you walk into Portillo's on Ray Road, you can smell the magic--crisp sport peppers, rich au jus, and that unmistakable aroma of slow-roasted beef that makes your stomach growl instantly. But the real moment of truth comes when you look that server in the eye and say: "I'll take the Big Beef, DIPPED, LOADED with cheese sauce. And I mean loaded." Watch their face light up--they know. They understand. This is not just a sandwich; it's a ritual, and this location performs it with reverence. Then it arrives. Oh. My. Goodness. The bread is drenched--and I mean perfectly, gloriously drenched--in that deep, savory au jus, so every inch is saturated with rich, beefy flavor. It's not soggy; it's luscious. It's a sponge for joy. And then... the cheese sauce. Sweet, spicy, velvety, liquid gold--it's like someone took pepper jack, dreams, and a touch of heaven and whipped it into a creamy, molten ribbon that cascades over every millimeter of that dipped bread and tender, shreddy beef. The first bite is not just a meal--it's a religious experience. The crunch of the giardiniera, the pop of a sport pepper, the warm, juicy beef, the cheese sauce pulling in golden strands... it's an OMG moment so intense you might actually forget your own name for a second. You'll hear yourself making sounds you didn't know you could make. You might cry a little (happy tears). You might order a second one before you've even finished the first. And here's the thing--the Chandler location executes this with flawless, almost artistic precision. The line moves fast, the staff is smiling, and they don't skimp. They don't hold back on the beef, they don't drizzle the cheese sauce like it's an afterthought--they PILE IT ON with pride. You can tell this team lives for these moments. They're not just serving food; they're delivering pure, unadulterated happiness. Even the atmosphere feels electric--like everyone in the room knows they're about to have their day made. You'll see strangers nodding at each other in mutual respect over their sandwiches. You'll hear "OMG!" echoed across the dining room (seriously). And when you finish that Big Beef Dipped--cheese sauce glistening on every corner, not a drop of au jus left--you'll sit back with a food coma smile so wide it hurts, already plotting your next visit. Bottom line: If you are within 50 miles of 7200 W Ray Rd, you have no excuse. Go. Right now. Order the Big Beef DIPPED with EXTRA cheese sauce. Thank me later. And maybe bring a napkin--because that cheese sauce is so good, you're going to want to lick every last drop off your fingers. Five stars? Try FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS PLUS A STANDING OVATION! This is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to be this good.

Grilled chicken is an add-on, which I paid for, so that was frustrating. I got back in line to fix it. The remake came with no chicken and no blue cheese, but I'd already put dressing on the first one and could see where someone had picked the blue cheese out. Still no chicken either time. Today I tried the drive-thru. No one was taking orders at the speaker. After about five minutes I pulled up to the window and waited another five. Nobody came out or acknowledged me, so I left. I get why other Portillo's locations have lines around the block and this one doesn't. It feels mismanaged and like the staff just doesn't care. Shorter, review-site friendly version Two bad visits in a row at this Portillo's. 1. Ordered a chopped salad with grilled chicken, no blue cheese. Got blue cheese, no chicken. The remake had no blue cheese but still no chicken, and you could tell the cheese had been picked out of the original. 2. Drive-thru today: no one at the speaker for 5 minutes. Pulled to the window, waited another 5 minutes. No response, so I left. Other Portillo's are packed for a reason. This location seems mismanaged and understaffed.

The bread on the sandwich was tough, the bacon bits were chewy, hard knots, and the sandwich was dry overall. The sweet potato fries were greasy and tough and not hot. Nothing about what I ordered today was good with the exception of the appetizer, which was the Crisp Korean Brussels and Cauliflower. It was hot, delicious and plentiful so I did not go hungry. Our server was friendly and prompt. He was very quick to refill my drink. I will say that both my chair and our table rocked terribly, so was not very comfortable. Hoping for a better experience on my next visit.

I've NEVERRR felt so UNWELCOME at a restaurant in my life…read more RACISM_Still exists!!!!!!!!!!!! I stopped by this Jersey Mike's Subs location in Chandler to sit on the outdoor patio and charge my phone. I hadn't even gone inside or spoken to anyone. While sitting there, I noticed several of the young employees inside staring at me, talking among themselves, WHITE GIRLS ..... and repeatedly looking in my direction while on the phone. Shortly after, I realized they had locked the restaurant doors even though it wasn't closing time and were letting customers in one by one. I ended up leaving after my phone charged. When I returned the next day, a manager told me I "probably shouldn't come at night because the girls were scared." Scared of what? I was doing nothing but sitting outside. It's hard not to feel like I was treated differently because I'm BLACK!!!!! Locking doors and potentially calling the police on someone who is simply sitting outside charging their phone is unacceptable. I would not recommend this location to people of color if this is how customers are perceived and handled. Management told me they had no reason to call police but I shouldn't come back to restaurant. Racism still exists

I ordered via ubereats while at work, but usually the service in these locations is very friendly and a clean store if you decide to dine in.

The restaurant and outdoor entertainment complex is huge and has a really fun, energetic vibe. According to the bartender, they have ping-pong, pickleball, and a big upstairs outdoor patio with amazing views of Tempe and the surrounding area. There's also a large parking lot, lots of outdoor seating, and even a dog park area, which makes it really easy to spend time here. The bartenders and wait staff were very friendly. Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The Service was "electric" for us as we were celebrating a birthday at the table during lunch. It was too Hot for us to do pickleball, but they do have a fully shaded area that had people playing outside ~105 degrees. As for the food, we had the Fish & Chips with a Mahi Mahi Slaw & Fries, the Ahi Poke Tacos which come in Wonton shells. Hot Honey and Sausage Pizza was great. The Barbacoa Nachos had all the right ingredients & the Double Smash Burger had only some "fancy sauce" on the plate. The Tempura Green Bean, can't remember who ordered, but were good with the chipotle ranch sauce. With me, I'm all about the cocktails, so I treated myself to both the Froze Margarita & the Chi Chi. They call them spiked slushes, I call them "heaven sent" during the Arizona Summer. All of the food was a hit for the table and my family understood why I suggested EP for lunch! I said our Server was "electric" and that's because they made our experience very enjoyable. It was appreciated and I will return again for lunch and pickleball (in the evenings) during the hot summer!
