I was there today with the family and got a slice with onions, tomatoes, olives, and feta. It was awesome. I'm usually a Chicago style pizza guy but their NY style pizza is great not greasy, crispy crust and fresh toppings. The subs and wraps are very good too. I always get the chicken Caesar wrap and it's great!!! The people working the counter are always polite and helpful. The outdoor seating it awesome. A new pizza favorite has been found. This was my second visit to this fantastic whole in the wall establishment, nestled along the MainStreet of Celebration. This family operated establishment is a great place to walk in and grab a slice of New YORK style pizza and a drink or take home a whole pie and some garlic knots. I haven't had the pleasure of trying their sandwiches yet, but if they are anything like their hand tossed pizzas, then I am all over it. During my 1st visit which was during the nightly snows, sadly an entire year ago, I enjoyed their Teriyaki pizza. This year I decided to try one of the daily specials and this time it was the Hawaiian BBQ. Absolutely delicious. My mom was a 1st timer and she enjoyed her slice of Chicken Ranch so much we ended up leaving with an entire pie and a half dozen garlic knots. Loved the NY style flavor. Tried a few pizza places I'm the area and none of them had that NY taste I like. Eventually, Upper Crust had it. Pizza tasted great. The presentation was pretty off, though. One of the pizzas was sliced disproportionately, leaving half the slices small and half the slices super big. Proximity and convenience along with better than average pizza sums up my review. We have taken out from this restaurant several times and find them better than the chain restaurants even though we can't eat it there. We will keep ordering pizza from them, but would like a crispier crust (it's better the day after). The sauce and ingredients are better than average, but the cheese could be better. Really really bad pizza. The cheese is yellow, extremely salted and not properly melted. There is a lack of marinara sauce on the pizza. The crust is burnt and stale. The entire pizza was drenched in oil and grease, in the worst way possible. Garlic knots were decent, but you can probably make frozen ones from Walmart that are better. My boyfriend and I immediately got an upset stomach after eating their pizza. Either all the ingredients are old and that's why they taste off-putting or their "chefs" simply don't know how to cook. read more

We used to go there all of the time. However, there is no concern by the staff to show that they are taking any additional precautions during COVID. No face covers worn by those preparing the food. In fact, you can very easily see the cooks not wearing masks, gloves or any type of hair nets. Pizza was always our favorite, but we can't go back until they make significant changes. What I appreciate most about Upper Crust is the quality of service you receive and the delivery. I had not ordered from Upper Crust for a while due to a very bizarre experience with the owner at the time. But, since ordering from them again, it has been nothing but good things. When I called last night, I was greeted with a excited and happy person on the other line. Took my order, understood what I wanted (which can be challenging sometime) and promptly took care of me. The delivery is to Celebration wide only, so living in Celebration has it's perks for sure. Only knocks I would give them, if I had to, the website online ordering looks ready, but doesn't look functional yet. Pizza wise, it is always good. But, if it was a little thicker and not so pliable, might make for a better pizza. But, other than that, love the pizza, love the service, keep it up! read more

I went to "Upper Crust" a couple of weeks ago for a quick lunch. Reviews suggested the price and product were good for me so I took the worm. I walk in and it's busy, which is a good sign because people must obviously like it. There isn't a real line, it's more like a mass in front of the counter and you just kinda go by the honor system to when you're next. Finally it's my turn and let me just say, I love it when the person serving me treats me like I have half a brain and that they are doing me a favor by taking my order. Oh wait, did I say love? I mean, strongly dislike. So I order a slice of pizza that looks like it's under a heat lamp and he hands it to me. It doesn't feel hot through the paper plate and then I stick my finger to it and it's actually cold. So I asked him if he could through it in the oven for me because it was cold and you'd think I asked him to give me a shoulder massage. He rolled his eyes and took my pizza to the oven. Then at the register I ordered garlic knots and a small Caesar salad to go with it because this is my meal for the day. I think the best part about this meal was the croutons that the other man working there made fresh for my salad. He cut up the bread, tossed it in oil and garlic and stuck it in the oven to toast. Also, that small salad was huge. I wonder how big the large is, probably family sized. So on to taste. Again, the salad was good but not fresh dressing or anything. The pizza was alright but no real flavor and it was just kinda floppy crust, also make sure you ask for it to be hot. And the garlic knots, usually my favorite part of the meal were just meh. They were rolls with oil and raw pre-minced garlic on top. Like you know the kind you get in the jar already? Ick. In the end, don't judge a pizza place by it's fancy Downtown Celebration name. Just accept the fact that downtown orlando is home to waaaayy better pizza by the slice. read more

Got delivery from here - pizza and wings. Wings don't appear to be fried, perhaps grilled and baked? Good char flavor - our sauce choice was hot, but was a mild medium at best - quite tasty! Pizza likely was awesome when they made it - all of the cheese shifted during delivery, and we didn't receive until 2 hours after ordering (not Upper Crust's fault - delivery glitch I believe). We have been eating at Upper Crust for years, and now that we are less than a lock away, it will become a regular part of our diet. The quality of the pizza is good and pretty consistent. Aside from Al's, this is one of the better pizza joints in the area. They are great for a quick slice, but a bit pricey if you make a regular habit. Two slices and a soda will set you back about $8-$9. If you find a big slice, one will do just fine. The sandwiches are alright and the calzones are also pretty good. Staff is almost always friendly, but it is a pizza joint. Set expectations accordingly. read more

I always enjoy stopping by Upper Crust whenever I'm in the Celebration area. The location is easy to find and looks welcoming; with tables and chairs outside for people to sit. Depending on the time of day, the wait varies from walking in and placing an order with no wait, to waiting ten minutes or so to place your order. If you're in a hurry and don't mind picking the pizza up at the store, just place an order over the phone about fifteen minutes before you arrive! They have a variety of pizza and sizes but my personal favorite is the pepperoni. I'm also a huge fan of getting a slice of white pizza to go. Delicious! The pizzas are enough to feed up to six people depending on how much each person likes to eat. Overall, the atmosphere is nice, the store is clean, the employees are helpful, and the pizza is wonderful. read more

Ok, this is my new favorite place for pizza. I like that I can buy a slice or a whole pie, I have to say though, it's a little disappointing if you want to eat it there and you'd like a glass of wine or a beer to go with your slice you'll have to improvise as they don't have adult beverages (so I held back a star). What they do have is the ratio of sauce to topping and crust figured out. I like a crisp thin crust which is exactly what they have. The pizza has gotten a little bit more consistent, and I come here now exclusively as I am boycotting D'Antonio's and do not like the chain places (Papa John's Domino's, etc). A new addition to the menu since my last review are the chicken wings. They are actually excellent for a pizza place. They do have daily specials which include various items such as soda or wings for a lower price. The service is now hit or miss. I do not think that the "younger" staff should take call in orders. Pretty delicious pizza for being so far from the NJ area. Nestled in the picturesque Celebration neighborhood, this pizza certainly lived up to its namesake.
