I ran into a problem with my digital throttles on the water , Dave took the time to try to talk me…read morethrough it but the problem was bigger that that. We got it to his shop later, It was difficult to diagnose the actual problem. He kept me informed on the situation as it unfolded and was honest with me up front. The boat was finished in 1.5 weeks, parts delivery took a few days twice. Before he released the boat he kept it an extra day just to make sure the job was done right, he wanted to shut all the systems down and start fresh in the morning and do another test drive. I really appreciate his attention to detail. And his honesty he estimated a price range for the repair He said 3000.00 to 5000.00. it came in at $3042.00!! he could have padded it but he didn't. All of his mechanics were friendly and helpful when I called or stopped in. Thanks Dave and Crew I highly recommend Premier Marine and would definitely use them again

Joe was working at the desk and offered to take a look before we sent it off. He spent 20 minutes finding the proper power cable and hooking up the unit. Turns out it was working fine. He searched through his spare supply of cables, checked with the manager to ensure that it was ok for me to take it and try out on the boat. Needless to say, that, was the problem. This place is what a boat parts store should be. 1. They…read morehave reasonable prices. 2. Most of their inventory is in sight which allows you to walk the aisles and see things you forgot to put on your list. 3. In many instances, they have the mercury/quicksilver part and right next to it will be the Sierra equivalent at a lower price point which gives you the opportunity to compare on the spot. In addition, last year I bought a boat that had a bad engine. I bought new manifolds and risers first from Ken and he told me where to check the engine for cracks. I found them where he said they'd be. He also had a used engine in his storeroom that was a much newer version of what I had already. His asking price was reasonable. When I came to buy it he loaded it on my truck. He lent me the alignment tool, and he gave me the newer style steering mechanism so I wouldn't have to track down new hoses and fittings. Engine went in without issue, but the alternator wouldn't charge. I pulled it off, threw it in the car along with his alignment tool, and he swapped the alternator for another used one he had in the back. The location is about 100 miles from me, but it's always worth the drive. I haven't tried them for mail order, but for walk in retail, they're great.
