The…read moremechanic looks the car over calls me to say the one bolt broke and he may need some extra time to get it off. I say sounds ok. I come to pick up my car and the bill is for $800. I ask why and the lady says we didnt even charge you the full price for the extra time it took to get the rusty bolt off. Anyways I paid and drove off. car still seemed loud i look under the car and the exhaust pipe is dangling from near the rear muffler. I look under the hood and my exhaust manifold heat shield is also missing. This guy couldnt bother to tell me the exhaust pipe also needed a weld. It gets even better the work he did didnt even last a month. Car now sounds worse then when I gave it to him except now hes broken my manifold bolts, destroyed my heat shield and charged me $800 for the work. Dont be fooled by him calling you multiple times to tell you what hes doing...hes actually just making sure he informs you he will be charging extra. If you want a mechanic who will just do the bare minimum work on your car that it needs this guy can do it and will be ok to use your parts. If you want a mechanic who will look your car over as a courtesy and let you know what else is an obvious problem and build a long term relationship with you then this is NOT the place you are looking for. From the minute I walked in, I could see this was a serious shop! They put all my info in their system and the computer will automatically send me a text when it's time for service and it calbrates it's notifications when it understands it's waiting too long or not long enough It learns to adjust. Work I needed was carefully explained especially when there is a cheaper route that they didn't recommend, and I was explained why the more expensive route was best and offered ways to complete the work over time, at my own pace if I didn't want to spend that much at once. I don't know much about rotors and even after just 1 visit, I had no doubt that what he was recommending was for value over cost and without hesitation, I went with their recommendations. That is what Ilike best! service is fast, and they are all super friendly and courteous and the prices are correct.

I own a 2003 Dodge Dakota which was showing an intermittent airbag light coming on. I personally…read moreput in a large number of hours trying to fix the issue myself. I then took it to 3- services shops and none could fix the issue. I have been dealing w/ this problem for almost a year. When I took it to the different shops; one being a Chrysler/Dodge dealer, I was getting different stories as to what was wrong. The third service shop I took it to who could not fix or diagnose the issue, stated that I should try Jamie's Auto Repair-South. I met w/ Jamie and told him my problem and everything I have been through. He said I'll take a shot at the issue and let me know. His initial diagnosis was a bad clock spring which I already had replaced by the first service shop I went to. When Jamie tried a new clock spring from a Dodge Dealer it did not fix the problem. At this point he did not give up!! He continued on the hunt for the problem and finally determined the issue was w/ the Airbag Control Module(ACM). The module had a short inside and was the cause of the intermittent problem. Jamie then took it upon himself to find me a used ACM and installed it and the problem seems to have gone away. Now I get no error codes or Airbag light. Jamie is confident that the problem is solved and I am too. Time will tell the story. So what can I say? Well, I was close to getting rid of the truck b/c of this problem; but Jamie showed skill, tenacity, and true customer concern for my satisfaction. So the moral of the story is the other shops did not want to deal with my problem, but Jamie did and I truly appreciate his efforts. I highly recommend his shop for repairs especially tough head-scratchers which no one else can do or want to do!! Great job Jamie and your crew!!!

Last week when I got a new message on my dash my thought was immediately "this is it, this is the end." I called SSA and told them the message. They suggested I get my car towed there to avoid any possible damage. Again, I thought this is it. I got my car towed there and that same day I got the call. There was a fix - no worries! I proceeded to have some other maintenance work done at the same time as like I said, I love my car. I picked up my car last night and it feels like a new car again. I have been going to SSA since they first opened and I don't trust my baby with anyone but them. They are honest and trustworthy. Thank you SSA for taking care of all of our vehicles!
