In October of 2025 I brought my 2016 Hyundai Tucson to the Dover, DE location for a set of brakes…read moreand rotors (I can't remember if it was front or back at this point it's been so long) and four new tires. I paid $1600 for the service. About a week later, the front tire on the passenger side falls off my car (due to improperly installed lug nuts) while it's in motion. This caused extensive damage that ended up totaling my car. The company accepted full liability, but once they learned that the damage would cost more to fix than the value of my car, they were no longer willing to fix it. The claims department offered a settlement for what they deemed to be the value of the car. Although, I was financing the vehicle, so I could not accept it. Aside from the eventual conclusion of the car being deemed a total loss, I had to deal with a tow truck driver threatening to impound my car due to not being paid by Firestone. I also had to deal with Enterprise Rental Car threatening to charge my debit card since they hadn't been paid either. Both situations took emotional distress and anger on my part to resolve. The accident happened in October of 2025 and my car wasn't fully evaluated and totaled out until February of 2026. This was a long, drawn out, tragedy that I was made to pay out of pocket for due to the circumstances. Go ANYWHERE else!

On 3/11/26 at 3pm we took our car to get an oil change and vehicle inspection. I scheduled ahead of…read moretime this appointment. I had not heard anything from by 6pm so I called them and they said they had not gotten to it and would not be able to get to to it that day. I told them that I needed the vehicle by 12pm the next day. I called the next day at 11:30am and asked what what going on with the vehicle. The guy responded they had not gotten to it. I ask why did I even schedule an appointment for 3pm the previous day ? His response well we had a lot of Enterprise cars to take care of. I told him that I would be there at 12pm to get my car and not to do anything. This was a total waste of my time and someone totally forgot about our car. There was no apology, no nothing, I pick up the car and they said nothing. They didn't care. That is last time I will ever go to a Firestone!

I own a 2003 Dodge Dakota which was showing an intermittent airbag light coming on. I personally…read moreput in a large number of hours trying to fix the issue myself. I then took it to 3- services shops and none could fix the issue. I have been dealing w/ this problem for almost a year. When I took it to the different shops; one being a Chrysler/Dodge dealer, I was getting different stories as to what was wrong. The third service shop I took it to who could not fix or diagnose the issue, stated that I should try Jamie's Auto Repair-South. I met w/ Jamie and told him my problem and everything I have been through. He said I'll take a shot at the issue and let me know. His initial diagnosis was a bad clock spring which I already had replaced by the first service shop I went to. When Jamie tried a new clock spring from a Dodge Dealer it did not fix the problem. At this point he did not give up!! He continued on the hunt for the problem and finally determined the issue was w/ the Airbag Control Module(ACM). The module had a short inside and was the cause of the intermittent problem. Jamie then took it upon himself to find me a used ACM and installed it and the problem seems to have gone away. Now I get no error codes or Airbag light. Jamie is confident that the problem is solved and I am too. Time will tell the story. So what can I say? Well, I was close to getting rid of the truck b/c of this problem; but Jamie showed skill, tenacity, and true customer concern for my satisfaction. So the moral of the story is the other shops did not want to deal with my problem, but Jamie did and I truly appreciate his efforts. I highly recommend his shop for repairs especially tough head-scratchers which no one else can do or want to do!! Great job Jamie and your crew!!!

Phil told me to come to the shop and they'd see what they could do. Phil was right, it didn't take him long, he fixed the issue! I took my vehicle to Mr. TIRE to replace spark plugs and the ignition coil because my engine light…read morecame on and the diagnostic said one of the pistons was misfiring. When they removed the spark plug, they found oil in the well. So they determined that the leak was caused by a bad gasket. They replaced the gasket, spark plugs, and did an oil change. That cost me $2300. They next day, I noticed a bigger oil leak and the smell of burning oil. I took my car back in and after investing, Mr. Tire determined that the turbo line was leaking. They said they did not have the ability to order the part or complete the work and recommended I take my vehicle to the dealership. So, now my vehile is leaking and burning oil worse than before I brought it in originally. (The excessive oil leak and smell of burning oil was not happening before the original visit). Now, I can not drive my vehicle due to the danger of the oil line feed spraying oil and causing an engine fire. After spending $2300, my car is worse off than when I had it serviced.

Unfortunately for me my problem was bigger than what I thought and I needed to wait till the morning to fix my it Thomas (owner and operator) was more than helpful, dating and make sure me and my family were safe in a hotel so we could finish up in the morning the next morning he went out of his way to help me and my family get back on the road and get safely home if you're in the area and in unfortunately have a breakdown I believe this is the place to call
