Took my car here for a check engine light after pep boys told me a solenoid needed to be replaced and they couldnt do it. The owner Chris re-diagnosed the the problem and agreed a solenoid needed to be replaced. He charged me almost $800 dollars and when I picked the car up the check engine light was still on and I now had a completely flat tire. Chris tried to tell me the tire was probably already leaking before I dropped it off despite me having driven hundreds of miles with no issues over the last several weeks. We then discovered there was a nail now in the tire that one of his employees had driven over in their parking lot. They patched the tire and told me they would fix the problem. Chris calls me 2 days later saying now he thinks its just the wiring but it will cost another $600 dollars to fix. He stated its not his fault he didnt fix the problem correctly the first time since "I told him to fix the solenoid" even though he called me and said he diagnosed that as the problem as well. He finally fixed a wiring issue after a week of working on the car and charged an additional $600 because he could figure out the problem the first time. The professional thing to do would have been to correctly diagnose and fix the problem the first time like a competent mechanic instead of becoming defensive and blaming the customer and the charging them twice for your own incompetence. If I could give 0 stars I would TLDR: I asked this guy to fix a check engine light. He couldnt figure out the problem, blamed me, popped one of my tires and charged me twice. I will never go back. Please do not waste your money here.

They did the $45 diagnostic and told me that i needed control arms steering tie rod and a suspension stabilizer so im like ok if that will fix my vehicle great. Two days later on a Friday they work on the vehicle while i waited it took 5 hours. Once done he hands me the keys and says in 6 months I will need shocks and i said ok. So the next day on Saturday I drive from Dover to MD and it starts making the same sound. So i call him on Monday and he says no its fine and i tell him its really not but thats it. So two days later i take it to another shop that tells me my struts are completely blown and leaking and they should have replaced them when everything else was done. So I call burkes and leave a message and they never called back. From there i filed a complaint with every agency possible only to get a response from the BBB from Burkes saying they advised me to fix the shocks but I told them no dont fix it. This place is a rip off 1390 later and my vehicle is still not fixed. If you look at this estimate where does it say shocks. I mean come on. After looking at my receipt it says shocks leaking. So you mean that you removed leaking shocks and put them back on leaking. I had to pay someone to fix the struts and now the car is fine. This place is horrible they lie and then on 5/10/26 they sent me a follow request on Instagram how strange.

From the minute I walked in, I could see this was a serious shop! They put all my info in their system and the computer will automatically send me a text when it's time for service and it calbrates it's notifications when it understands it's waiting too long or not long enough It learns to adjust. Work I needed was carefully explained especially when there is a cheaper route that they didn't recommend, and I was explained why the more expensive route was best and offered ways to complete the work over time, at my own pace if I didn't want to spend that much at once. I don't know much about rotors and even after just 1 visit, I had no doubt that what he was recommending was for value over cost and without hesitation, I went with their recommendations. That is what Ilike best! service is fast, and they are all super friendly and courteous and the prices are correct.

I dropped my Jeep off to Aamco to have the transmission…read morelooked at on Sunday June 29th, I left my jeep in the grass lot, filled out their brown paper bag with my information, dropped my key fob into the brown bag, peeled the sticker off the back, sealed it shut and dropped the bag (WITH MY KEY SEALED INSIDE) into their blue early bird drop off box. I had faith that all would be well considering doing what I was told for the key. The week goes on and I hear nothing about my vehicle so on Thursday July 3rd I decided to call to get an update and to my utter surprise they tell me they don't have my key. I explained to them exactly what I did and how I heard my brown bag with my key hit the bottom of the drop box. I stated how maybe someone grabbed it and misplaced it when returning to work & checking the box Monday June 30th. They proceed to tell me they do not have it but will look for it and call me back before end of shift Thursday. Well, they never did call me back. Due to the holiday, I left a voicemail for them on Friday. I wait all weekend and call first thing Monday morning to get an update on my lost key, I spoke with a man named Brandon who proceeded to laugh at me and argue with me throughout our time on the phone telling me he does not have my key and that I did not leave it. Brandon continued to laugh as I explained once again the process that I went through, and how someone in that office had to have misplaced it. Brandon explained that they did not have my key & how they had to search my plate earlier in the week before because my vehicle was in their way (but never actually called me to ask about the key or anything) - I explained to him once again that I swear I left my key, they could roll back their cameras if they needed and that someone there needed to find my key as THEY lost it and I did not have a spare, to get a spare was $300+ to which Brandon continued to laugh, said he would look for the key again and proceeded to hang up on me due to "having too many other costumers to deal with right now and I was not priority" I had absolutely no trust in this place anymore and knew they would not call me back nor would they look for the key any further - I called my insurance had to pay & have my vehicle towed to the dealership, pay for a new key fob & have to wait to have my jeep worked on at the dealership after waiting almost two weeks now thanks to AAMCO. I will NEVER be using this place again nor will I ever tell another soul to go here. I will do my best to make sure no one comes here again. I trusted in them to do better & they ended up being one of the worst places I have ever dealt with. They are absolutely not for the customers and shame on me for ever trusting this place would be worth a crap. Rarely do I ever leave reviews much less negative reviews but if I could give negative stars I would for this hell hole.

Monday came and gone with no call, so i had to called once again to find out whats the issue with my truck, oh we did the diagnostic test on Monday sorry we didn't call you (Really) we apologize for not calling you and than said it was a software problem that needed updated and the whole time I needed a battery they didn't even know what was wrong with my truck... I took it to the dealership and they did a diagnostic test and it was my battery and it got fixed within 3 hours. They are Horrible!!!
