This place offered a wonderful price for a couples massage. There were a few times where my massager was a little heavy on my neck but they absolutely adjust if you ask them. The only 2 things that I'd recommend is that they improve communication online. I specifically asked for a couples massage online and when we got there, they were trying to separate us in different rooms until we told them we asked for a couples massage. They quickly adjusted. And lastly, I would say the need a different location for themselves cause you could here the machines and movements from the restaurants next door to them (thin walls I suppose). I had visited this place a few months ago and never got around to leaving a review. I know this pandemic has been so hard for so many small businesses, I figure I need to do my part to leave a review. My boyfriend and I had come for the 1 hour massage and left extremely happy. I used to live in Arcadia and had a spot I went to on a regular basis and since moving to Upland, I hadn't found a new place to go until I came here. The staff is all friendly, and I believe my masseuse was Jason, who paid great detail to the places that bothered me most. My boyfriend had never gotten a massage before, and he continuously tells me how much he wants to go back. We just didn't have a chance as they closed due to the pandemic shortly after our first visit. Nothing seems to help so I gave this place a shot. 90 min massage was my choice. I was relaxed in only 5 min. I thought the massage was done. I felt GREAT. Then I hear, ok. Turn over.... WHAT?!?!? I have some really bad tension in my neck and back. I seen this place was new so I wanted to give it a try. It cost $40 for 1hr. Full body massage. Upon arrival you walk in the reception area which is small . You are greeted and asked what special you wanted. I chose the 1hr. You need to pay first and when your done if you used your card you can put your tip. I went into a private room and had one of the best massages. Jason was the masseuse name and he knew exactly where the tension was. I felt so much better after this. My husband and I tried Upland Massage for the first time Saturday January 11, 2020 and let me you that it was great experience. My husband was a bit skeptical at first since his masseur was a tiny woman. Well she proved him wrong. We were both so happy with our massages. Massage Evy has nothing on this place. The only thing that I think can be fixed is that I was not able to use my HSA visa card which is Health Savings Account that is supposed to used for health services and massages actually fall under that category. The gentleman at the front said that they couldn't swipe my card. Other then that is was great! Definitely going back next month. read more

$40 for 90 minutes? It almost seemed too good to be true. It's not. You get the whole 90 minutes for $40. It even included hot stones! There's no pressure to tip (though I did) since they run your card at the beginning. You have the option of adding tip after the massage. There are no bells and whistles or tea or fancy robes, but it's an okay sacrifice for the price. The only thing that took off a star for me was that I wasn't given a heads up my masseuse would be male. I didn't mind, I would have just liked to have known beforehand. read more

This place was wonderful! I had been sore (especially my feet) for over a week following a physically exhaustive weekend prior at work. Finally, I decided to go get a massage to see if it would help. At this point I've only tried two other places from "fancier" spas on vacations so I was a little apprehensive about those massage shops in strip malls here at home. But, I figured I wouldn't know unless I tried, and the 90min $40 promo was so good that even if it was a bad massage, it would probably help a little so would be fine. OK, this promotion was a STEAL because the whole experience was so peaceful and relaxing. The owner/manager who greeting me was so calm and peaceful that immediately after walking in you felt like you were in a total zen zone. My masseuse was Coco, and she was also very kind and quiet like the manager. Unlike other places I have been to, they didn't ask if you had any areas you wanted them to focus on/not focus on (so if you're uncomfortable with gluts massage, point that out). She went straight to business and I kinda just went all in, because immediately I could tell she knew what she was doing and she knew how to get every little stress knot out. This tiny woman was STRONG (I would probably ask her to go lighter on my neck; but that's total preference). She didn't miss a single inch, all the way from the top of your head to the tips of your fingers and toes. In comparison to a Swedish massage (usually more kneading style), it was definitely a bit rougher but like I said, I'm all in to see how it is. When it was over, I did some light stretching and man I felt like jelly - total bliss. It felt like I'd been doing yoga for six weeks, and I was even able to bend forward more than I think I ever have. It's been a week and my body still feels like it's in better circulation, no kinks, no tightness - super awesome. I would definitely go back, and when they eventually raise the price of their promotion (presumably it's to build clientele as they just opened), I will still be coming back. I am new to the area and decided to check out a new massage location since my favorite massage spot is about 30+ minutes away. I paid for a 90 minute massage and 60 minute reflexology. I also requested female masseuse's. Upon our arrival the lady confirmed which type of massage we wanted and requested the payment up front. I was a little confused by that, I thought maybe they had some customers not pay after their massage and they just take off. Ok reasonable. I get in my room and as I wait for my masseuse I hear a males voice. Well, he turned out to be my masseuse. The appointment coordinator disregarded my request. He did an ok job, he needs to work on being ALOOOOOT more gentle. He pulled the pillow from underneath my legs and my legs just dropped. And he also shoved the pillow on my face before I could lift up my head so that he could place the pillow under my head as I turned over. I heard people walk into the business I didn't think much of it. As soon as I got out I saw my mom behind a curtain and asked her what she was doing behind there. She said her masseuse told her to wait behind there. I'm guessing it's because the workers didn't want their clients to think they were busy, WTH? and she said her massage was cut short by 15 minutes. She says it's because other people came in and they rushed her. And mine was also cut short. I didn't tip the usual amount that I do and gave them a lot less. I won't be coming back here anymore and would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I also threw it the stamp cards that they gave us. Won't be needing those. On to my next location! read more

*Update 12/20/19* Decided to try this place again due to the owner's kind messages, and I'm happy to report that it was a complete 180 from the first visit. Annie was a great masseuse, and definitely stayed awake the whole time. Hopefully the good service continues, not only for me, but for all their customers. I hate leaving bad reviews but I won't be returning to this establishment 5 stars for ease of getting ahold of someone on the phone and setting up an appointment. 1 star for the older gentleman who totally fell asleep multiple times during my massage. I thought he was going to fall out of the chair a couple times. I hope he's ok... perhaps he had just had lunch or a late night? Whatever the reason, it was incredibly stressful to think he might topple over onto me, and was completely the opposite of a relaxing massage. read more
