PLEASE READ, THIS IS A WARNING! I needed to take care of my dental work. This place takes you in fast. And starts the work right away. I have Medi-Cal, so it takes 2-3 weeks to start treatment when approvals come. But they started right away. First time was scary, and uncomfortable, Darvish Salami started off with a dental bridge and 2 root canals. The first session i was not getting numb he was saying rude things. Once the numbing wore off, I felt the temporary crowns dig deeper into the gum. And had a a LOT of extra residue that was from extra crown cutting into my teeth. I had to go back several times for them to just adjust the bite. Then 3 days later. The crowns fall off. They place it back in. And when came back for the permanent crown before I cementing,I told them it did not feel right. The dental bridge felt too large and clunky. also, the crown both felt very uncomfortable and did not fit, so he started to drill my teeth More without letting me know to get it to fit and told me that I was insulting his practice over and over by keep questioning in him he had yelled at me.When I raised my hand, he put my hand down and continue to do so.I was horrified by this experience, and left worse than when I went in. I explained to Salami he adjusted the bite and said that I cannot be in pain the nerve was out. I was missing Work excruciating pain that I was feeling. Every time my bite was too high and he would not fix it because the bridge was already cemented, and the crown was already cemented. I lost confidence in him, I let him know that I will not continue to come and to give me my x-rays back so I can get a second opinion. Diana was rude to me and told me that I cannot get my x-rays or images without meeting with Salami first. I was traumatized, I could not bear to see him again and I told them no. I just want my x-rays. they told me they would refund dental bridge which cost three $3300,about the dental crown, they said that they cannot do anything about that, now I was stuck with a painful root canal, medi-cal will not pay again unless grievance. Which takes very long. I had to go to 4 different dentist and pay $250 twice to get another CT scan to show the bones of the tooth. I've lost countless hours in days of work to the point where I couldn't pay my bills. Made dental board complaint. Dentist. when I reached out for the refund on the dental bridge, they said that they will not honor that because I filed a complaint.. . Instead, they denied that there was any problem. however, I went to three different dentist and I will attach their findings to the images so you could see that the tooth had an open gap and he could not place it right or did not do whatever diligence he needed to do to make sure that before he performed that procedure, he knew what he was doing instead, they just seems to want to collect money from me . Anyhow, fast forward this happened in November 2023 and now it is April 2024, the different dentist that I went to were afraid to work on that tooth again so keep that in mind if you go to salami, you might have to go get retreated, and the other Dentist will feel hesitant to work on you since retreats are considered pretty risky. Also keep in mind you will most likely have to pay out-of-pocket to do it again. According to the last Dentist , I saw they said that the tooth that had the bad crown has swelling all the way down to the joint of the ligament and it could fracture that tooth. And I could lose it. this is just from a routine root canal. Nothing fancy it wasn't even a bad tooth. Additionally, the dentist three other ones to be specific you can message me if you want details told me that the upper bridge needs to be cut off so basically $3200 and a lot of my time just went down the drain for nothing. But more than the money the excruciating pain that I had to go through there's no value on that four months is a really long time to be in that type of pain. They are money grabs unethical and lie straight faced. If you want to get yelled at and scream and gaslight, this is the place for you. I am in the process of reporting him to the dental board, for him, continuing to drill when I asked him not to because of the pain, and because of his retaliation for me, reporting the behavior. Please if you are on Medi-Cal I know that you don't have too much money so please don't go here out of convenience. You will regret it. There are a lot of other dentists out there just do your research and please take this review seriously. The appointment where he placed this bad crowns was in November 2023. Dr pastrami is disgusting, i know theres alot of reviews and its hard to tell which ones are real, but he is truly disgusting. He put his finger in my mouth without a glove, spit in my mouth, and ok ok im lying about the spit in my mouth, but he really does disgusting things while working on your teeth. Exemplary, Efficient and Extraordinarily.. these three 'E's sum up Dr. Salami, his service and his staff. Why? I've been seeing the same dentist for 25 years until I moved. I saw one 'top doc' on the west side who I found out later, filled cavities that weren't there (or were very superficial). As a result, I found Dr. Salami. He is honest, forthright and caring. The team goes to work asap, cleaning and getting the work done so quickly I was shocked when it was over. Whats more, is that the service is done WELL with attention to detail. I'm telling you, this is the place to go. Is it all candy canes and lollipops? Of course not, you're going to a dentist but at least you'll know you're getting the best and most honest service out there. This is the exception to the rule in today's time when even dentists are out to get as much money as they can from the patients by lying or suggesting cosmetic upgrades that aren't necessary. I had my first appointment at this dental office Today 4/5/17. Darvish Ali Salami D.D.S was very kind he resealed two crowns that came out from a previous dentist and checked my tongue for oral cancer. He told me most dentist don't check for that. The office staff was very friendly. I know in the future I will need to replace 3 crowns. Once I get some better insurance I will go back. read more

Nice and welcoming staff. I came in to get a check up for both my son and I. He's usually terrified about dentist visits. He still is terrified of any doctor, but said the dentist visit wasn't as bad as he expected. As for me, I went in for a check up after a couple of years of MIA with the dentist. I like how the Doc and Assistant (Diana) were helpful on providing me with answers to my questions and also some insight on my current oral hygiene. I'm actually coming back today for some extra work done. Just last week, my wife had a root canal, which she said was a frightening thought, however the procedure was handled with care and she made it through without a complaint. Thank you UDC! First off Diana is AMAZING!! I was able to get an appoint day of because of teeth concerns.. on top of that my daughter had an important jiu-jitsu class to get to so she worked with me to get us in and out. We came for a check up and cleaning to start. They were thorough in explaining my xrays and thorough in my teeth cleaning. Definitely found my new dentist! My 10 year old LOVED them too! read more

The girls that work here are great. The office is nice. I'm scared to go to the dentist and even though i am i went and Dr salami reassured me I'd be ok if i wanted him to stop lift my left arm. Well he was pulling three teeth and i put my arm up he stopped he said i already know your not numb. I'm thinking of you knew why did you keep going. So he gave me a shot didn't wait for it to kick in just started yanking i kept lifting my left arm he ignored me and kept pulling my teeth out. So basically i felt all of it and that shit hurt. He won't give any strong pain meds he won't put you to sleep. Anyway horrible experience and after all that he left part of one of the tooth and it's causing so much pain it's ridiculous. I was referred to this office from my insurance, simply because it was close. I went knowing I needed a deep cleaning and was interested in fixing my gap between my teeth. There was barely anybody in the office, but my wait time was still long. I had to wait even longer after going inside. Anyway, an elderly man with a strong accent apologized for the wait and walked in to give me an exam. I'm fine with accents, but he spoke softly which made it harder to understand, an assistant basically repeated everything he said. He measured levels of gum disease, then suggested the only option to fix my gap was to add veneers instead of braces. I knew something was off, so I went to get second and third opinions. He was way off on the level of gum disease and I could definitely wear braces to fix my teeth. I had to start my services at another office and am quite pleased with my decision. Reading the other reviews makes me happy that I didn't go through with this dentist. Please look for another dentist, stay clear of this office. read more

I thought I was going for a routine exam and teeth cleaning. After a round of x-rays. I was asked to wait. Then they attempted to up-sell me into $13,000+ of cosmetic dental work. They would not even let me keep a copy of the estimate that they put in front of me. I haven't been back since. This place is sketch! It's not updated inside. They claim they to take Medi-cal, but then claim you need a deeper cleaning. Though I have Medi-cal they wanted to charge me $247 for a cleaning that they claim is more of a "deeper cleaning." I said no thank you to the deep cleaning because I cannot afford it, but the doctor refused to clean my teeth. He said "oh do you want your teeth to fall out then?" Pressuring me to pay the money. The scariest dentist ever. The kid before mine wet his pants. They strapped my child down on a board. The dentist is the worst I have ever seen. My child is terrified of the dentist now. Would have given a -10 if I could. I am from out of state and have dentist in my family. I will buy a ticket and fly home before I will see another dentist. Had the x-ray checked and my son's tooth should have never been pulled. The filling that fell out should have been replaced. Run run away as fast as you can. I got a wisdom tooth extraction here last week and Dr. Salami completed the procedure in only 7 minutes! It was quick and painless with just a little bit of discomfort. After they numbed my mouth, they explained the process of the actual extraction and later gave me clear instructions on the after-care. I made a total of 3 visits to this office. Once for an assessment. Second for a deep cleaning. Third for a polishing. The first time I was told I needed some deep cleaning that Medi-cal wouldn't cover. So I would have to pay for it. The payment process was not fully explained to me. I had to do some of my own research and ask some more questions about it before I understood it. I asked about the free teeth whitening offered on yelp, and Diane didn't even know what I was talking about. When I came back for the deep cleaning. Everything was quick and smooth. When I came back for the polishing (Medi-cal) there was no sense of urgency from the staff. I was told to have a seat and I'll be called. After waiting about 30 minutes I asked how long it would be before I was seen. Diane told me about 5 minutes. And she had the nerve to ask if I had to be somewhere. Like what difference does that make. I have an appointment. I think that's the whole point of an appointment timeliness, right? And 10 minutes later I was still waiting. So I got up and told her if they don't want my business then that's fine with me, but I am not gonna sit and wait over 30 minutes when I had an appointment. She was very careless and dismissive about it. She asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told her, no I don't. She then gave an insincere sorry with no effort to accommodate a returning customer. Best dentist I've been to, considering that I had impacted wisdom teeth and he was able to have them removed without any crazy surgery or being knocked out with anesthesia. They tried to pull my wisdom teath out which left them unsuccessful because they were in my sinuses. As a result of trying to pull my wisdom tooth out they pushed one of my mulerz in where barely half can be seen my the naked eye. I tried to get a deep cleaning in which Medicaid covered and they never even cleaned me. Stay away from here. read more

When I first came here last year I needed a root canal. The main receptionist and dentist assistant helped me and was so sweet and was able to get it covered from my insurance company completely, and i had to bring my 2 year old which the fentalnassistant entertained her the whole time. I recommended this place to everyone I knew. Last year they would have gotten 5 stars. This year I went in because I had a tooth ache. The new receptionists up front were not inviting. Seemed as if they were not trained properly and make me feel uncomfortable. I was offered crowns for my teeth that came to 4,000. I don't have that kind of money and the last time I was there 1 year ago they didn't mention crowns on the same teeth that had the same fillings. I don't know but my experience the first time was so much better. I hope the old receptionist is still there and I just happened to miss her. To start off all the negative reviews are "were" accurate in my option however following my last appointment Wednesday January 18th the new staff at this dental office has changed my opinion. I used to enjoy coming to this office about a year ago loved all the girls Liz and Diana then slowly the girls moved on and the new staff was awful I mean had me in tears awful the front office girl cannot recall her name was so disrespectful and rude she hung up on me numerous times I never wanted to return. Dr Salami has always been a fantastic dentist both of my children 6 and 2 feel extremely comfortable with him he always very thorough and quick which is a huge A+ in my book when it comes to children. The new staff of dental hygienist are amazing so friendly and welcoming and quick! I would definitely recommend this dental office i make the the drive from Rancho Cucamonga to continue receiving our dental service here. My brother always be afraid of dentistry because of its subsequent pain, but this place was his first pleasant dentistry experience. Dr. E was very kind and friendly to him in a way that after that day, my brother maid me crazy that we should go there again. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star but since i have no choice. I brought my son to this place thinking it was nice just because of how it looked my mistake. They checked his teeth and stated that 3 of his teeth were deteriorating and they needed caps they never gave me another option like pulling the teeth out which my mom mentioned to me and me being a new parent thinking that is the right thing to do. So i made my appt. for my son to have it on the next visit paid it in full. I wanted white caps in the front so i paid EXTRA. They tied my son to a board no pillow or something for his head, i would say wrapped him more than 6 times !!! Like how can a 3 yr old even move with 2 wraps. RIDICULOUS. My son his screaming in pain i couldn't even check on him. Once he was almost done, the doctor comes to me and says there is one tooth that is a little off on the color because we did not have the match for it. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! Your telling me after i already paid and after my son had to go through the pain for that. Not only that but i needed the receipts for what i paid for and it took almost a week to get them. The front desk i can't recall her name but she is the main one there, she never called me back even after i called 2 times. My son till this day has cried because his teeth hurt were the caps were placed, his gums got swollen and red and were bleeding.
