Gevity is owned by Connor and Espoir Michalek and is situated at the back of Highland Mall Blvd. According to Grace, Marketing Manager, the space is 18K feet with another 3K feet that still needs to be developed into meeting space. When you walk into Gevity, you are immediately immersed in a Zen environment from the floor to ceiling windows, off white colored walls and furniture, greenery and the textures - walls, paintings and rooms. You also have a large tree in the center of the business as its focal point, probably about ~20 feet tall. Wow!!!
Modern Wellness - Gevity has a full fitness workout room with all new equipment. Also, in the space you rent to work includes rooms with a treadmill where you can work out and simultaneously do business. This space is much like the workspace you might find in technology companies but minus the treadmill. There is a dedicated room for yoga, mobility, strength and Pilates training. Also, they have Gevity Lab, which includes recovery areas (private photobiomodulation therapy, red light therapy bed similar to a tanning bed, private infrared sauna, PEMF [pulsed electromagnetic field therapy], full-body normatec compression, hyperice recovery and percussion gear and red light masks). In addition, there is a room where massages, cupping, etc. are performed. Contrast therapy is also an offering such a standard sauna and cold plunge pools set at 40 and 50 degrees, respectively.
Focused Work - You might think of this as a remote work area. They rent rooms from one person (enclosed or out in the open) to a board room for many participants.
Human Connection - Quite honestly, with all the areas within Gevity, you can easily connect with other humans. In their main entry is a sitting area with comfortable furniture - soft and cushiony with curves and soft edges, which can promote connection.
Membership is a bit pricey at $345 per month (founding member pricing) + $250 initiation fee + $180 per month add-on for Gevity Lab. Gevity is an awesome facility, however, not likely affordable for the average person working from home or who works out. There is a corporate membership option, which seems more likely for large corporations. Parking for members is available next door in the garage via fab.
