Shane is the most knowledgable person I have ever spoken with on the subject and he takes a great deal of pride in his business and in quality. Shane is a really cool guy that makes you feel comfortable throughout your treatment session. When I am in for an appointment, he shoots the shit the way a tattoo artist would when you're in for a full day of tattooing (maybe because he used to be one?). I love that! He is also totally honest and does not make promises about every colour under the moon coming out in six sessions or fewer. If anyone tells you that, it's complete BS- run! Since starting with Shane my tattoos have faded dramatically and I feel confident I will not have scarring afterwards. Many places give you pain pills or numbing cream, but be wary of this. The pain is tolerable and if it isn't, they are probably doing damage to your skin. Plus he uses the cooling machine, which is really all you need to help with pain and healing! Last, his prices are great. I was paying more money at other clinics while getting subpar quality and seeing virtually no results. I have since moved from Toronto to NYC and I will not go anywhere else for my tattoo removal. I will make a point to see Shane every time I am home for a visit rather than starting new with some plastic surgeon's assistant looking to make a quick buck. I don't even care if that means my overall treatment will take a bit longer- that's how much I believe in Shane's service!

This is kind of a normal thing for Groupon purchases so I didn't find it odd They of course tried to up-sell me to Picosure laser as soon as my consultation was done but I budget myself very much so politely declined. They warned me of bubbling or skin discoloration that might occur which was good but I didn't experience either of these things. I went in yesterday for my 1st/3 sessions and I checked my tattoo this morning and IT IS HALF GONE. The tattoo wasn't too big to begin with but wow I must have set my expectations super low because I am really happy with the result. The artist who gave me this little F had such a heavy hand so I was worried that this bad boy was just not going to fade. I am a healthy gal - I got to the gym 5x a week, I drink a lot of water, I eat relatively healthy and I get my 8h of sleep (sometimes 10 - I live that Granny life) so this helps with the healing process I think. Laser removal just breaks up the ink molecules and your body does the rest of the work. I think this is something that people fail to realize. I have a high pain threshold so this didn't hurt for me. It burns but you get over it and the area where my tattoo is/was isn't painful or sore or burning today (the morning after) Going back in 6 weeks for my 2nd treatment

I politely declined and said after the 3 sessions I would judge the progress and then decide. After that they seemed a little cold towards me. Anyways after 3 sessions of pain, bleeding and blistering I still don't see a difference. I've taken pic myself to view progress and the difference is little to none. IMO, precision Laser is a cash grab.

My massage therapist was Kimmy, she is a smaller set woman but, don't let that fool you...She is so strong! (and she told me that the pressure she gave with my massage was medium-hard). She concentrated on my lower back as I had mentioned to her that I had lower back pain in the past and it had only eased up a little when I got a new pillow. She also worked on my other muscles just as hard, which was great! I love that this clinic offers a discount to members who sign up for their prepay plan option. I did not feel pressured into signing up for this plan at all. Alison gave me all the details of the plan and assured me that there is no term, no contract and no fees for cancellation. She gave me a brochure with all the details and pricing to take home so i could take my time to make a decision on whether i want to sign up or not. That put me at ease as it didn't make me feel like I was being roped into something that'll end up costing me an arm and a leg in the long run. I will definitely look into taking advantage of this option!

I did not understand I had to go under the sheets. When my therapist walked in, his reaction made me feel ashamed to show my body. After that, I felt very self-conscience. My mind kept reeling with how awful I must look half-naked to someone else. The massage therefore was not relaxing and there was no rapport established. It was my first visit. Next time, I will try a woman.
