When you enter, one of the first things they do is promote their membership pricing and ask if you're interested. I had a bad feeling about the place when I got there because the decor was just a shell. The nurse was kind when I met her for my Botox injections though. A guy (the manager?) who was trying to hardcore promote the membership to me, was standing by the doorway of my treatment room and wreaked of cigarettes. The nurse did the injections. One thing I thought was interesting was that she injected really high up on my forehead but I didn't think much about it. When I went to pay, I was again told about the membership and how it's actually cheaper to pay for a seasonal membership and today's service together than just the service alone (I was thinking, "I only need Botox once a season anyway, that promo is silly). So I did that instead of paying for an annual membership because like I told them a few times, "I just want to try it out today." Yes, I paid less than my usual Botox place. But I'm pretty sure they watered the Dysport down because I'm seeing wrinkles already a month in. If something seems too good to be true, it's my lesson that once again, it's too good to be true. And oh, I looked into their Danforth location today, it's completely empty with no indication of where they currently are. If they're really relocating to a Broadview location, please don't go to this clinic.

If the director, Oscar Amar, is reading this- THE clinic is constantly in clear violation of compliance with service contracts with their clients. I asked the receptionist on the phone if I could book 30 minutes with the waxing specialist and then a 60 Minute massage. Calling the day of and last minute I was expecting to be told nothing was available. To my surprise Pietro Pantenella was available. I showed up at my appointment time and was greeted by Pietro. Ok five stars for customer service from the moment I walked in. Pietro showed me to the room and I got to ask questions about if waxing hurt and what their process was. Again five stars. Pietro saw I was unsure of services I wanted but he quickly put me at ease with his calm and relaxing demeanor. Throughout the time In the spa he spent the time to check in with me to make sure I was doing ok. Not sure about you but after seeing the 40 year old virgin movie and watching Steve Carrell get waxed, I was nervous. Customer service requires patience, respect, and professionalism, even in difficult situations. If employees are unable to treat customers with basic courtesy, they need additional training in professionalism, communication, and conflict resolution before representing a business. Incidents like this can seriously damage a company's reputation and make customers think twice about returning. Management should take this behavior seriously and ensure their staff understand the standards expected in a customer-facing role.
