Ms Yelena Popova of Nova Line Permanent Cosmetics is the ultimate professional in her field…read more Yelena is very thorough & detailed-oriented, when it came to my eyebrows.  Even the smallest difference in symmetry between my right & left eyebrow, Yelena noticed and changed evenly.  Her aim seems to be perfection.  I noticed that her equipment was plastic-lined, where needed, for hygienic purposes. I believe Yelena has done her artistic workmanship to the fullest & in turn, I will do my part, too  (i.e., the post-procedure steps that she has taught me).  Now I hope my skin heals fully to the shape.  If not so,  I am grateful that l can turn to Yelena for the touch up later, which will cost just a fraction of her 1st procedure's price.

Angelica is both very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does - and it shows!…read more After deciding I wanted to try a lash lift for the first time, I found Angelica on Yelp, and I'm so glad I did. She is very responsive and made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped into her space. She was incredibly thorough, making sure to explain each step of the process and advise how to make my lash lift last. She also took care of my brows - as someone with sensitive skin, I was very impressed with her threading technique that caused minimal pain and irritation. I am so amazed by the results - no lash extensions or mascara necessary! Thank you, Angelica

OMFG! I'm sooooo happy I found jelly , she's a life saver. I screwed up and went to a nail salon to…read moreget my lashes done and not only it was all over the place , the glue was stuck onto multiple lashes at the same time. Jelly is not only patient since I always blink when I get nervous, but also highly attentive when it comes to minor details. I'm always the anal customer that questions why some lashes are left out and I didn't find a single lash left out When I went home to examine. I've been to over 10 different technicians before finding this gem and I will never go anywhere else now. I got a new set 3 weeks ago and only a small handful has came out. Not to mention , fast too ! I've been to a few technicians where they take hours but jelly was efficient ! I think I found my permanent lash lady now :)

I consider myself an eyelash psycho. I've done it all - falsies, extensions, mascaras, serums…read more.. you name it, I've tried it. I'm extremely picky about extensions, and know a good place when I try it. Out of all the extension places I've tried (more than a dozen in the GTA), Tokyo Beauty Studio is the ONLY place I've come back to. I've been coming to them for a couple years now; Whenever I go on vacation and don't want to deal with the hassle of falsies/mascara, you can find me here. There are different technicians, but everyone is excellent. They're perfectionists and meticulous. I can tell them what I'm looking for - and they'll definitely deliver. Unlike other eyelash extension places, they always understand what I want before putting lashes on me. Best of all, these lashes LAST. The full look lasts around 3 weeks for me (Which is a miracle. Admittedly I do rub my eyes, use cleansing oil, the whole shebam.) I don't want a "I bought $1 falsies from eBay and stacked them on my eye" look. I want a "damn, she must have some next level genes to have lashes like that" look. Tokyo Beauty Studio absolutely delivers. I would strongly recommend this studio!

Unfortunately my schedule doesn't always match up to Phoebe's so a couple times here and there I had my laser appointment with Anna who is by the way, the sweetest and oh so very caring! Anna is professional, friendly and updates you as she rolls the laser around the areas needed for treatment which is great - cause the laser can get hot! Lol I've been coming to lashes & lipstick for some time and I've always had fantastic experiences with these girls! PS. You know they're doing amazing work when their staffs multiplies like rabbits!! I'm not surprised if more locations are coming up soon!!

Even before arriving I was impressed with the professionalism provided by Anna on the telephone. She was welcoming and accommodating despite my twice rescheduling. In terms of the service: Nayya was approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. While personally a lovely person, the service was expertly done and adhered to my instructions. The shape is beautiful and the shade lovely. I have received a number of laminations prior and this is my favorite result. I plan to return. The salon is also lovely and presentable. I've come here several times now and I think I've found my new place for lash extensions! They have…read morereal mink lashes and they have a book of different styles, volume and lengths that you can choose from. They take notes of what was used in session so that for next time, they can pull up the information from their booklet to use the same one. Unfortunately, I don't have many lashes to begin with so I usually just go with express set and I usually have to wait a couple of months before doing them again so that my lashes grow back. Normally I can get a refill once before I let them rest though. These lashes last for a long time too. Perhaps 4-5 weeks for me and you can still see them, whereas with other places, it was only 3 weeks. It's also hard not to fall asleep during the session because their memory foam portable beds are so comfortable! Book an appointment at least 1.5-2 weeks ahead if you're looking for a specific time/date. It takes 1-2 hours depending on your lashes and what you want. They have a phone number where you can text for appointments or you can message via Yelp.

I was traveling and needed to get my lashes done and after seeing their highly rated reviews, I…read morecame here. Communication was quick, space was clean, but the outcome wasn't as great. I have been consistently getting my lashes done so when I compared LaLa Lashes to other lash lounges in terms of how long it stays, this place loses. Lashes started coming off the next day but it was just a couple so it didn't impact the overall look. After 1 week, the lashes look messy - going in all directions. If this was my first time, then I wouldn't have any expectations but it isn't so I am quite disappointed with the results. Maybe this is the norm in Toronto but the ones I've done in Boston and New York stayed on and in a manageable fashion for weeks.
