According to our Escape Room veteran, losing my ER virginity to 13th Hour and now having gone twice…read morewill ruin me for any other Escape Room. Had never done an ER and had no idea what to expect. I can't believe the level of attention and detail they put into these rooms. Since our veteran had done every other room, leaving ONLY the absolutely most difficult rooms left, I was kind of astounded at the complexity and probably wound up saying "oh, that's clever" or "I'm stupid" about five hundred times. We initially did a lost hiker room, and then later the new two hour room that they had recently opened up. Both were extensive, with multiple linked rooms, including "outdoor" areas (that aren't) that were immersive, with attentive staff that both sold their roles and kept the clues coming when we were confused. The two we did had horror themes, particularly the second one, that might have scared young children, but some of the easier rooms seemed to have less frightening themes. Again, I can't stress enough the level of detail put both into the clues, the experience, the sound system, the decor, it was all pretty amazing. On our first one, since there were no parties after ours, we were allowed to continue thirty minutes past our "deadline" since we hadn't quite solved it yet. I'm looking forward to doing some of the easier rooms too!

A great escape room at a great price! It is definitely made with love. We did the immersive actor…read moreexperience called Raven Guild. It was very very spooky. The puzzles are solid. And the host are amazing. The live actor has an extra element that you don't get in the traditional escape room. Go support these guys their local and they're super cool.

Disappointed. For $44/person, it was very underwhelming. This was probably our 15th escape room…read more.. and it was our least favorite and the most we've ever paid for one. 1) They allow up to 15 people to do one room. But since the entire escape room has to be in sequential order, there's only 1 puzzle that can be worked on at a time. Only about 4 people could work on it and everyone else just had to stand around. If they're going to allow that many people, more puzzles to solve at one time is a must or it gets boring for everyone else. Too linear for such a large group. 2) The clues were not very creative, most of the time the code was written right next to it. There are more creative ways with that many people to gather clues for the codes. 3) Clues were smeared which need to be updated so you can actually read it. 4) It was so hot in there! And I'm usually cold every where I go for reference. 5) When a door would unlock there was no sound or indication it was open which was frustrating because we were doing the right thing waiting for a door to open but no idea when it finally opened. A sound effect would be nice. 6) Speakers need to be updated, they were blaring and hard to hear 7) The tips given were what we had already solved 8) No countdown clock to know how much time we had left. 9) No signs or place to do a photo op at the end. Usually these places have signs you can hold up like "we escaped" in x amount of time. Typically the employee will take a photo and make it fun. If it were $20/person I think I'd be less irritated. It was the probably the largest escape room I've ever seen. Could easily split the room in half, and offer more escape rooms with less people in each. Basically just 1 puzzle per room felt like wasted real estate. Could have been so much cooler with the size of their escape room. Our group of 6 left not saying much. Any time I've gone with groups people are talking about how fun it was. It was just an awkward exit.
