I admit - I'm a nervous parent. No one and no place is good enough for my lil guy, but the day finally came when travel plans overlapped by one night. He can't stay at home alone (although a smart JRT, he has no opposable thumbs). What to do? Ask everyone and research like mad online. Unleashed kept coming up, with recommendations from people I know are as protective as I am...called to make the appointment and discovered we needed to have him come by for a "temperment testing" visit. Already, I'm loving this - feels like it's being run by caring professionals. He passed his temp test and was scheduled for an overnight visit. Still nervous about leaving him, but as we drop him off, several things happen: his tail stays up and wagging (good sign), the staff member at the desk gets on his level and makes a fuss over him (gooder sign) and - when he's taken through the playroom door - the staff member in the play room picks him up and kisses him on top of the head (goodest sign). He had a GREAT TIME then, and each time he's been back. They have a commitment to the clients (four and two footed) that reassures me. Their hours are very convenient and they have grooming services available as well. It's recommended that you package enough food for your dog, but if you want, they will use their food for an extra charge. No toys are permitted, but we always pack a worn tshirt for him to curl up and sleep with - Unleashed has raised doggy beds and throws/blankets so no need to bring those. Unleashed has a Facebook page where they interact with their customers and post pictures and if there's anything that could be improved, it would only be a webcam so that I can check on the little guy, real time.

Shaved in Decenber.

The groomer shaved my dog in Deceamber due to to supposed matting ? He hid under my bed for three days with a towel shivering while I ran around town looking for sweaters and tees. Two minutes before Vino was to be picked up I received a phone call he hadn't been cut yet and wanted to know what I wanted to do? She was instructed not to shave him and to do what she thought best. Talking to the girls up front had found out the groomer had been running behind all day? He was there for more than eight hours why did I not receive a phone call earlier? Imagine my surprise when Vino was returned to me now seven p.m. completely shaved standing there in quiet furry just stared. Was and am still shocked the owner never tried to reach out or speak to me about this matter so with that said there are other groomers and day cares in the area. Look into them.

This is the best doggy daycare my dogs have ever been to. They know exactly when we pull into the parking lot and they purk up and get super excited everytime. Not only is the daycare superb the grooming is even better! After a long day of playing they come home smelling amazing after getting a bath and we have a 2 long haired dogs that get perfect haircuts everytime. We have multiple dogs from small to large long hair to short hair and all of them are accommodated. Their daycare/boarding is massive with multiple yards so they can separate properly by size and temperament. The staff is absolutely wonderful Brie and Joy love all of the animals there and treat them like their own. They have a wonderful vet that performs alot of my dogs medical needs there so I don't have to take them to the vet and they keep track of certain medical necessities and even give me reminders about medications and procedures. This is absolutely the best doggy daycare that my dogs have ever been to and we will never take them anywhere else!

I love working at Unleahed. Everyone loves the animals so much likes there own!!! The staff is amazing an so great to work with! Our customers are the sweetest! I couldn't ask to work at a better place. This is the most wonderful doggy daycare! All of our dogs absolutely love Unleahsed they know as soon as they get there and they get so excited.

Blue was so tired after all the fun he had at Unleashed.

After her stay, she came home visibly distressed and became increasingly lethargic. I rushed her to an emergency vet, where she required immediate care. The owner, Kristen, acknowledged this in writing and offered a $500 reimbursement to help with the vet expenses. Thatincident was over two months ago. I've followed up multiple times, professionally and respectfully, but I've received no response and no payment. While accidents can happen, how a business handles them afterward says everything. Their silence--after admitting responsibility--has forced me to share this publicly. I hope no other pet parent has to go through what we did.

This was our 6th time using daycare for our Australian Shepherd, Zeus, and what we experienced was beyond unacceptable. We trusted this place. We expected outdoor play, clean and sanitary conditions, real supervision, and staff who genuinely care about dogs. Instead, we walked into neglect. From the moment we arrived, the staff was rude, dismissive, and clearly annoyed by basic questions. When we dropped Zeus off and asked for a tour, we were bluntly told no manager was available and no tour could be given. No explanation. No reassurance. Just attitude. When we came back for pickup and asked again, we were told to wait so staff could "check on some things." That alone should have told us something was very wrong. What we saw after that made us angry, sick to our stomachs, and heartbroken. Multiple dogs were locked in kennels with no staff supervising at all. We personally witnessed kennel staff and groomers being unattentive, rude, and disengaged, including employees standing around or sitting on their phones instead of watching the dogs. Kennels were covered in dried urine and feces, and dogs were left sitting in it--no cleaning, no breaks, no compassion. Then we saw Zeus -- locked in a crate in the corner, shaking, crying, and terrified. Seeing our dog like that broke us. It was devastating. He looked scared, confused, and completely abandoned. Watching him tremble and cry in that crate made us feel sick, angry, and deeply depressed. No dog deserves to be treated that way--especially not in a place that claims to provide care. This was not a bad day. This was systemic neglect. We left furious, heartbroken, and ashamed that we trusted this place. We cancelled everything immediately and will never return. This was not daycare. This was dogs being warehoused, ignored, and emotionally broken. They call it It's a Dog Life -- but what we witnessed was cruelty, neglect, and suffering.

The emergency hospital had given him a fever-reducing shot that was supposed to last 24 hours. When we arrived at Tiger Tails first thing the next morning, we clearly told the staff and doctor about this and that it had only been 12 hours since it was given. The doctor took his temperature, did a quick checkup, and said he was fine -- then sent us home. We had pleaded that it was strange he wasn't eating or drinking and he was vomiting with hints of blood, but she kept insisting that he may have just ate something bad or just elder dog symptoms. Just 13 hours later, my dog passed away. I trusted Tiger Tails to take our concerns seriously and to monitor him properly after everything he had been through, but I feel that they dismissed his condition too easily. I am heartbroken and will never forget how this was handled. Please be cautious and make sure your pet gets the thorough care they deserve.

Very early on she started developing a cough and then wheezing, and then runny nose and I was so concerned I couldn't wait two more days for my already scheduled vet apt with another place. I called Tiger tails as soon as they opened this morning and I spoke with Jordan, and she was so unbelievably kind and helpful. She worked her butt off to get us in as early as possible, and even called me back twice to offer two earlier times, which we took. As soon as we got there we were greeted with super friendly staff. They led us to our excluded room (because of the cough) and every single vet tech and vet that came in was amazing. They were so gentle and loving to my baby, and explained everything they were doing. She did a thorough examination, asked questions, and determined it was kennel cough and sent me off with two different meds. I am a pretty anxious person when it comes to illnesses, especially since this is my first dog I personally own, but they were so welcoming and understanding, putting me at ease. I am SO glad I ended up going here, and will be going back for all her future shots/check ups. Thank you to the entire staff that helped me and my baby today!!

She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

I found him through the Nextdoor app and relied on his stated experience and trustworthiness. When I returned after five days, my previously healthy, active four-year-old pit bull was unable to walk. I have since spent thousands of dollars on veterinary care, and my dog's quality of life has been permanently altered. To this day, I have not received a clear or consistent explanation. I was told my dog got out, was missing for several hours, and later was found. I was not aware he was even injured until after he was picked up by my brother the next day when my brother noticed he was hurt. Even if that account were accurate, he didn't take any accountability for the fact that my dog's back legs are paralyzed and a clear story hasn't been given. He claims he was standing outside while my dog was chewing the fence to escape but if that's the case why continue to let him chew it? Nothing is making sense and when I asked him about it he got defensive. All I wanted was answers. Three weeks later, my dog is still suffering. He lives in constant pain, cannot walk without assistance, and is largely confined to bed rest. When I contacted this man seeking clarity, I was met with anger and defensiveness rather than accountability or concern. This situation reflects a serious lack of transparency, judgment, and responsibility. I strongly warn others not to entrust this person with the care of their pet.

Unfortunately, she is in California so frantically I asked where I should take these very ill babies. She said as a former Atlantan herself and a graduate from UGA Veterinary Medicine, the only place in Atlanta she would take her own pets to is Bridge Park Animal Hospital. I thought those were pretty strong words but she is one of the best veterinarians in SoCal so she knows her stuff! I called BPAH and due to these kittens being so bad off they told me to bring them in and even though I didn't have an appointment, I could drop them off and they would see them. I thought this was pretty cool because my other experiences with vets in the Atlanta area, I've never been seen unless I had an appointment no matter the circumstances. Let me tell you, these cats have some issues, so many issues, so many treatments, and so many medications needed that when it came time to pay, I thought I was going to vomit anticipating the bill. To my surprise, this was the cheapest vet visit I've ever had and I had three kittens!! Not to mention once your animal has been seen at BPAH, you have two weeks to come back for a free recheck (meaning they don't charge you for the exam and only charge it needing more medicine). This was amazing because I've never cared for orphaned kittens so I was returning every few days for help with feeding and medicine administering or with concerns I was caring for them incorrectly and they welcomed me with open arms. I left each time feeling like they truly cared about my babies wellbeing and not just a check. Because of my frequent trips to BPAH, I was helped by all of the veterinarians at the practice and WOW, they're all amazing! It's no wonder they won Best of Alpharetta. As a long time pet owner and former client of Blue Pearl, Alpharetta Animal Hospital and North Main Animal Hospital, I can say without a doubt, Bridge Park Animal Hospital is the best. My kittens came back from death's door because of them. My business will be forever with BPAH which means my pets will be happy and so will my wallet! Special thank you to Dr. Travis.
