Danger!! I have two dogs, both of whom have gone to Unleashed since I rescued them in Jan 2017 and Aug 2018. My little one, a ten year old Bichon Frise, has been grievously injured there twice. The first time was on Dec 30. She was attacked by a large dog, required surgery, came home with multiple drains in her neck and body. After that attack, I was told that they were increasing from three to five the number of dog "groupings" to group them by not just temperament but by size as well. I was also told there was additional staff training and that they were increasing dog supervision staffing. That clearly did not happen. Yesterday, my dog was attacked again. I was told it was by a Golden. My little dog was in with much larger dogs. She came home from surgery with twenty-seven staples across four wounds, which were each two inches long. While I was waiting at the vet, I was aghast to see a just-posted review by Jason, whose beagle was attacked there twice, in February and the day before my dog's most recent attack. That's four in five months: Dec, Feb, two days in a row in May. Why does Unleashed refuse to keep small dogs separate from large dogs? While it's true that Unleashed covered the vet bills, this utter disregard for pet safety is reprehensible. I reported the most recent incident to Fulton County Animal Control last night; they took a thorough report. I am also pursuing this with Animal Protection/Dep't of Ag, the agency that licenses kennels, groomers, daycares, etc. My beloved pets will never again go to Unleashed. I believe they should be shut down unless they make meaningful changes to keep safe the dogs in their care. Allowing large dogs to commingle with small dogs is a recipe for heartbreak and disaster. They knew after the Dec 30 attack on my dog that it was a problem, yet did nothing - thus allowing three more attack incidents. Shameful. There may have been other attacks that I'm not aware of. I'm not one to post reviews, good or bad, but people should know - especially if their dogs are small - that Unleashed is not a safe facility. read more

The owner could actually learn a bit more about customer service and actually SPEAK to her customers since she is getting their hard earned money. A simple hello or "thank you for your business" would be nice. If she makes a mistake grooming your pet she never comes out and apologizes personally. She pretty much hides in her office all day. She's nicked my dogs skin a couple times and never offers any type of explanation or apology. And still charges you full price for the grooming. read more

We've never had a problem with unleashed before, but this time was different. We left our 2 year old, playful, sweet, and small bernedoodle there and he came back frantic and scared. He would pace around and sit then stand up again and continue to pace, it was very out of place and we had never seen him do this before. FURTHERMORE, he was unable to move, much less wag his tail. We will have to take him to the vet and get it checked out soon. Im not sure whether the dogs were left unsupervised and one of them hurt him, due to the many complaints of other people who's dogs were attacked, or it was one of the careless groomers who hurt his tail. I am extremely disappointed in this place and I regret having taken my dog there before. Will not be returning. read more

I took my dog twice and won't be back again. First time she came back with a cough and no one called to communicate that two dogs had had kennel cough during that time - I should have learned my lesson but I wanted to give them one more chance. I should have known better when I called about the cough and no one called to apologize for lack of communication. The second time I took my dog, once again they did not communicate with me regarding her grooming. When we picked her up she was completely shaved!!! Not what I asked for nor what I was expecting. Very disappointed in the lack of communication or trying to make it right. If someone calls with a concern, call them, listen provide true customer service. We will not be visiting again. read more

I admit - I'm a nervous parent. No one and no place is good enough for my lil guy, but the day finally came when travel plans overlapped by one night. He can't stay at home alone (although a smart JRT, he has no opposable thumbs). What to do? Ask everyone and research like mad online. Unleashed kept coming up, with recommendations from people I know are as protective as I am...called to make the appointment and discovered we needed to have him come by for a "temperment testing" visit. Already, I'm loving this - feels like it's being run by caring professionals. He passed his temp test and was scheduled for an overnight visit. Still nervous about leaving him, but as we drop him off, several things happen: his tail stays up and wagging (good sign), the staff member at the desk gets on his level and makes a fuss over him (gooder sign) and - when he's taken through the playroom door - the staff member in the play room picks him up and kisses him on top of the head (goodest sign). He had a GREAT TIME then, and each time he's been back. They have a commitment to the clients (four and two footed) that reassures me. Their hours are very convenient and they have grooming services available as well. It's recommended that you package enough food for your dog, but if you want, they will use their food for an extra charge. No toys are permitted, but we always pack a worn tshirt for him to curl up and sleep with - Unleashed has raised doggy beds and throws/blankets so no need to bring those. Unleashed has a Facebook page where they interact with their customers and post pictures and if there's anything that could be improved, it would only be a webcam so that I can check on the little guy, real time. read more

This place is beyond amazing. I cannot recommend enough. My dogs have been coming here for a few years and they continue to exceed every expectation I have. Anita is seriously one of the most amazing, kind, compassionate and caring persons I have ever met. She and the owner have gone above and beyond for my anxiety riddled pup. I live 45+ minutes away and will drive here every single time. I wish I could bring my dogs to daycare every single day just to support this business. The groomer shaved my dog in Deceamber due to to supposed matting ? He hid under my bed for three days with a towel shivering while I ran around town looking for sweaters and tees. Two minutes before Vino was to be picked up I received a phone call he hadn't been cut yet and wanted to know what I wanted to do? She was instructed not to shave him and to do what she thought best. Talking to the girls up front had found out the groomer had been running behind all day? He was there for more than eight hours why did I not receive a phone call earlier? Imagine my surprise when Vino was returned to me now seven p.m. completely shaved standing there in quiet furry just stared. Was and am still shocked the owner never tried to reach out or speak to me about this matter so with that said there are other groomers and day cares in the area. Look into them. read more

This is the best doggy daycare my dogs have ever been to. They know exactly when we pull into the parking lot and they purk up and get super excited everytime. Not only is the daycare superb the grooming is even better! After a long day of playing they come home smelling amazing after getting a bath and we have a 2 long haired dogs that get perfect haircuts everytime. We have multiple dogs from small to large long hair to short hair and all of them are accommodated. Their daycare/boarding is massive with multiple yards so they can separate properly by size and temperament. The staff is absolutely wonderful Brie and Joy love all of the animals there and treat them like their own. They have a wonderful vet that performs alot of my dogs medical needs there so I don't have to take them to the vet and they keep track of certain medical necessities and even give me reminders about medications and procedures. This is absolutely the best doggy daycare that my dogs have ever been to and we will never take them anywhere else! read more

Beware: My poor dog has been mauled/attacked by another dog/dogs and taken to the hospital/vet twice in the past four months while staying at Unleashed. She can barely stand or walk, and is in a great deal of pain today. Both of her legs were torn up - one required stitches. This comes on top of the incident three months ago while at Unleashed whereby she received a puncture wound to her torso and stitches in her leg at that time. She is a very friendly, non-aggressive, beagle and yet this has happened not once, but twice since the start of 2021. After the first attack, we were assured that measures would be taken to ensure it wouldn't happen again and yet...it happened again. I gave the benefit of the doubt the first time...accidents happen...dogs will be dogs, but now this place cannot be trusted to keep my beloved pet safe while within its confines. I am unsure how they separate larger and smaller dogs or more aggressive dogs from less aggressive dogs - apparently not too well considering our unfortunate fate. We won't be going back ever again. read more

We've been going to unleashed for a long time and never had any problems before. We've groomed with a full service and boarded a few times. I'll say the only good thing now is the girl in the front who is usually very friendly and knows how things work around the place UNLIKE the owner. Our troubles started when the groomer we used to have quit and we were told we could get our dog groomed with the owner instead. We always ask for a full shave (leave the tail tip) but it seemed our dog would come back with an unshaved face or nails never clipped or something not done right. We weren't picky so we didn't say anything FOR A WHILE. We are told couple times "oh it wasn't a good day for her" so we didn't think much of it. We finally couldn't take it when our dog literally could not walk because her nails were too long and when we asked them, they said she would not let them touch her nails. Literally first time hearing this...We go in the other day and finally confront them about what's going on just trying to find out why our dog isn't getting the full service we paid for. We are told our dog is not letting the groomer cut her which is understandable we were just voicing we were upset that we were never told this before. Everything is about to be situated WHEN THE GROOMER or someone who identified herself as the owner came out. She literally lied to us saying she groomed out dog from the beginning (not the case at all) and then proceeded to tell us that our dog will bite/break skin, basically tell us she's like a vicious animal. We tell her we really want just communication so we can figure out what to do with her nails then instead of trying to brush it off like everything is okay and why we should have to pay in full for shampoo and a partial cut. She says we are paying for HER LIABILITY and that we will be charged in full moving forward. Whatttt? We tell her we might have to look into another place if they can't service our dog, and she says "Next time tell the place that your dog is agressive" We know our dog and so we ALWAYS tell every place that she doesn't like grooming and is sensitive and can be agressive. ALWAYS. She just likes to cover her own A** and is combative. I say if she doesn't understand customer service, she should really just stay inside. Lastly, we are told we can either take it as is OR put her on a sedative. She said she didn't recommend it before because it wasn't that bad (but our dog is vicious and breaks skin. makes sense). This place is going downhill. We used to not be able to get an appointment for weeks but now we can do next day. We don't want to take our dog where the owner obviously doesn't understand how to take care of animals. That is part of your job by the way maybe learn something. read more

Unleashed Doggy Daycare is a terrible establishment. I used to take my German Shepherd here for daycare on occasion, and once for longer-term boarding. At first it seemed great, he went to the temperament test and they gave us this cute little 'report card' on how it went, and I actually had it on my fridge for a while. However, a week before we were scheduled to leave our boy for our vacation, UDD shows up in the AJC because one of their employees, who was an ex-con, kicked a puppy in the chest. I freaked out and asked for some assurances, and they said they'd rectify the situation by employing more cameras around the facility and stiffening up on their employee background checks. Ok fine, but strike 1... Strike 2 came on the MULTIPLE occasions which my dog was returned to me covered in poop. He gets nervous diarrhea so I understand it's kind of gross, but guess what? He has to go in my car. I know my dog is the poop-kid in the class, but it's no fun for me either people, and you get PAID to deal with it. I had to ask each and every time for them to attempt to clean him up a bit. Still had to clean poop out of my car when I got home. Strike 3 was actually forced upon me when they kicked my dog out of their facility. Why? Not because he was aggressive towards other dogs or people- no- Apparently they were tired of having to clean him up and claimed that "for his own good and well being" he shouldn't stay there anymore. His nervous diarrhea was considered a health hazard to them. I was halfway to my parent's house who live an hour away when I received the call that I needed to come pick him up, and never bring him back. These people are lazy. They don't care about the well being of your dog- they care whether or not your dog is a hassle to them. I would advise astringently against ever bringing your dog here! If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

Never again! We went on a trip for the first time since our children were born... We had a wonderful time, and came home to 2 sick dogs. They both had diarrhea and vomiting for 5 days and nights. Tons of waking in the night to clean them up, plus our new rug had to be thrown out. Our dogs are very well taken care of. We feed them the best and treat them like family. To have them come home in such a state was at the least, upsetting for the entire household. I now think we need a vacation from this situation... Not to mention that I caught a bug from constantly cleaning up all the vomit and poop. 6 days of not eating and a visit to urgent care. Needless to say, can not say enough bad comments about this place. Oh, and never again!! read more

If I could give negative stars I would! I have two rat terrier mixed dogs that are 12 years old. My dogs are sweet, gentle older dogs that are pretty go with the flow. After reading some of the reviews, I decided to try Unleashed. I took my own shampoo after the first bath since they didn't have that clean washed scent as one of the other reviewers stated. However, tit was hit or miss as to whether they used the shampoo, most of the time they did not. On one occasion when I picked them up, I saw the groomer leaning on the grooming station with a dogs paw in her hands and the phone wedged between her shoulder and ear with the cord stretched across the dog. I said to the staff, that is disturbing and when they asked me what I was referring to and they saw the employee doing exactly what I stated above, replied, yes that is disturbing. However, no one thought it was disturbing enough to make the employee hang up the phone. The place is busy, you can see the dogs through the window and while not my favorite choice, it is convenient and i thought my dogs were safe. What can you possibly do to a dog when people can see you through the viewing window? Not much, right? Wrong. On our last visit, I dropped off my dogs with their shampoo at 7 AM and picked them up at noon. I never leave my babies anywhere all day. When they tried to get my Chloe, she kept running away from them as if she was scared. They finally let her out of the side door and the ran away into another doorway (where the groomers are) and when the girl went to get her, she growled at her. This is something my dogs NEVER do and I was surprised and worried. I paid, took my dogs an put them in the car and drive home. When I arrived home, I opened the back door and my babies, jumped out and ran directly to the front door. I closed the door went in the house, got them their food and water and left again for a hair appt. I arrived early at my appointment and since I had time went to take the dog barrier down that I use when I travel with my dogs. They are lap dogs and will try to sit in my lap while driving if I do not put up the barrier. This is when I noticed blood all over the back seat. Blood in the form of little dog prints. I immediately called Unleashed and held for one of the owners/groomers, who proceeded to inform me that there are rare cases when they clip their nails they get a little too close but they use stylus pens for any bleeding. However, if they clip it too close and it doesn't break the skin, then the only thing she could think of, was my dog did it to herself jumping at the window. MY DOG HURT HER PAWS UNTIL IT BLED BY JUMPING UP AT THE WINDOW. It was my dogs fault, not Unleashed. I am still unsure if they even bathed one of my dogs, no bandana when I picked her up and when I asked about that I was told once again the dog rubbed the knot loose against the wall. Normally I have to cut the bandanas off because the knot is so tight. Maybe I should try to get my dogs on tv since the seem so talented, being able to make themselves bleed and remove bandanas from themselves with out any thumbs! What a joke. If you love your dogs, take them someplace else. I will never go back to Unleashed. read more

We love Unleashed! We always board our dog here and we have several friends that do as well. Their flat fee for the best of everything can't be beat. For one price it doesn't matter what size your dog is, your dog get its own "mini room" with a bed (not stacked wall-mounted crates), your dog gets to play and exercise all day, they will administer medicine if necessary, they will feed your dog a lunch snack on top of two regular meals if you wish, and no extra fee for bringing your own food. Another nice touch is that for the past two years we have been going they have had the same employees. They always remember our dog's name too no matter how long it has been. We even saw one of the employee's once when we were at the town dog park and she immediately recognized our dog. She came over and sweetly spent several minutes playing and petting with our pup. We are loyal to Unleashed and completely recommend them. read more

My grand-dog, Blue, loves it here. He currently goes 2-3 times a week and is completely exhausted after a fun day of playing with his friends. Blue knows when we turn the corner behind QT that it's time to go to camp and we can barely control him enough to get through the door. The staff are so sweet with him and he stops to tell everyone hello on his way to the playroom. They take really good care of all the dogs and I see nothing but happy faces, folded back ears, and wagging tails when I go in there. read more

I took my puppy here today because a family friend of mine said they were great with hyper dogs. My puppy (Yorkshire terrier) is only 4 months old and he's the most jumpy puppy out there. So I thought since he is a squirmy one this would be a great place for him to get groomed. Nope. I went there with my mom this morning and right off the bat my dog, Teri, jumped out of my arms and sat by the outside door. He's never like this with new places. He also wouldn't let the groomer girl hold him. He loves new people and this was completely out of norms for him. He doesn't mind the Vet but did not feel comfortable there. I gave the groomer a list of things I wanted done on my puppy such as: light trim, cut around the butt area, light nail trimming, no eyelashes cut, and light facial trimming. I wanted everything to be kept "light" because it makes him look cuter. I left my puppy there for about 3 hours and when I went to go pick him up, Teri jumps straight into my arms and then panic ally runs to the front door. I didn't want to say anything then because I didn't get a chance to look at him before I left there since he was so squirmy to the touch. Although they cut his nails, they did a horrible job. When I got home, his nails were cracked, dried, and there was dried blood on them. They cut the hairs around his ears, when I told them I didn't want to do that. The trim over all made was not satisfactory. They cut too much around his face. Currently my puppy is in a down mood when usually he's hyper and running around my apartment with his toys. I do not recommend here for the sake of your dogs and your money. read more

We have been taking our dog here for over a year. The staff is great and our dog is always treated nice. The staff knows all the dogs and customers names, they even know the cars we all drive and start to get my dog ready even before I enter. I have been to four different day cares in Atlanta and this is the best one. To make this place even better I would suggest 2 things. Open earlier on the weekends and install cameras so customers can watch there dogs while away. Other than that this place is perfect. read more

Unleashed has cared for two of our dogs for four years, next month. One of our dogs had to be put to sleep last November due to cancer, so it is just one now. I am writing this review because Jillian and her staff are as good as it gets. We do not have family in the area and when we leave our dog we trust fully he will be cared for as if he were with family. Not only do they unconditionally love and care for our fur babies, but they have demonstrated the same level of love and kindness to my family, twice now, when we experienced difficult situations. They are my community and they demonstrate repeatedly what it means to be there for one another. I am grateful for Jillian and her staff. If you are looking for care for your fur baby, this is the best! If you are looking for good and kind people to interact with daily, as part of your community, Unleashed is all that, too. read more

I have been taking our mini goldendoodle Chet there from time to time the past four months I was especially impressed that they spoke to our Vet to make sure he was fully vaccinated before they accepted him (they didn't just take my word)..The staff is absolutely terrific and our dog is always excited to go and is truly worn out when we pick him up after a long day. With so many dogs to care for they do an amazing job of caring for him as if he was the only dog in the place. I especially enjoy having a place to take him on rainy days and Unleashed has been a wonderful partner . read more

I hate to have to write this because I have always love Unleashed as did my little Yorkiepoo. Unfortunately, my dog came down with Kennel Cough 4 days after being in daycare. I am no way saying he caught it there. This is airborne and could have happened anywhere. What upset me so is that immediately after leaving my vet, I called Unleashed to report this to them since it is so contagious. I would have thought I would have been contacted by the manager or owner after this, but nothing. This upset me so, that I called 7 days later to express how upset I was about nobody calling to see how my dog was. I was told that the manager or owner would absolutely get back to me. That was on 8/13 and I haven't heard a word. I would think that signs would have gone up to inform other clients to be aware this was going around, or email would have been sent, but they have done nothing to inform their clientele nor have shown the least bit of concern for my little 8 lb baby. We're done with them. My advice is to ask if any cases have been reported before you drop your dog off anywhere. read more

Terrible experience!!! My poor dogs, I decided that my spouse and I needed a vacation and I figured that we could leave our dogs with them for a few days. I returned to find cuts all over my dogs belly from other dogs " humping " her, she had poop caked in her paws. She jumped into my arms like I had left her with the cruelest people. I asked to have my two dogs boarded together at night, they claimed they never knew that. Even though I called multiple times while I was gone and they confirmed they were doing that. When I picked her up nothing in the bag that I brought her was even opened or touched!!!! I called the owner to complain and she suggest that " I have a harder time leaving my dog, than she has being away from me" $300 dollars later... No refund ... Or any compensation .... Terrible... I know the owner I've seen her at a local dog park.. She is just as rude to people there! Don't bring your dog here... read more

Our beloved dog Maddie was rescued from a kill shelter by Unleashed Doggie Daycare. Since we adopted her 4 years ago we have been bringing her to Unleashed for daycare and boarding. My dog developed a skin irritation after staying here a few days. Total additional cost = $250 vet bill. While I liked that he could interact with other dogs versus being bored in the kennel all week, it does not outweigh that he was bothered by something in the environment there. read more

This company is prejudice I interviewed for a receptionist position. The lady asked me to come back in 2 weeks for a "working interview". After sitting for some time in the lobby the lady behind the desk tells me that the owner suddenly had a family emergency and I had to reschedule my interview. I called the following day and was told they are no longer hiring. I was excited about this job and I feel like they didn't even give me a chance because I'm black. What a shame. read more

Harry LOVES Unleashed! He loves to play with other dogs and this gives him the outlet he needs a couple of days a week. As soon as we get out of the car, he's running to the door with his paws on it waiting to get in and he runs to the gate where he's greeted by name by one of his nice people friends. They seem to really care about him and I feel good about leaving him with them. When I pick him up, I think he's thinking, "So soon? I want to stay! I do wish they had a doggy-cam so I could see what he's up to when he's there--that would be fun to watch. read more

OK we have a pampered pet (don't we all that are looking at this?) and he is a 42 pound apricot cockapoo. Tanji has been getting groomed (teeth, nails and hair) at Unleashed for quite some time and he even has a 'hair cut' named after him. You can get a Summer Tanji or a Winter Tanji and there are several that do this. The owner is great and the staff is always courteous. read more
