This review is solely for Proper Parking as a parking management service…read more I truly believe the accurate way to judge a company is by how they handle a difficult and unfavorable situation. Do they take responsibility for their employee's wrongdoings? Yes Do they handle uncomfortable situations with grace? Yes Do they have professional, trustworthy, reliable people on their team? Yes Do they have insurance that will cover their mistakes? Yes After my unfavorable encounter at one of the lots they manage, I would definitely trust Proper Parking to take care of my parking needs. They handled it well and were very professional about it. The only criticism I have is the speed of which the matter was handled.

Valet damaged my car and now I can't get a response…read more I went to the Omar Courtz event at The Vermont Hollywood on Saturday, May 18 and used the valet service provided by Proper Parking. When I got my car back, there was noticeable damage. I reached out right away, spoke with someone named Aiden, and followed up with photos and a full description to the email he gave me. Since then? Nothing. No reply. No update. Just silence. I've done everything they asked, and now I'm left hanging. It's starting to feel like they're hoping I'll just stop following up and take the loss. I'm not that kind of customer. If this is how they handle issues, especially after something as serious as vehicle damage, I'd think twice before using them, whether you're a customer or someone hiring them for an event. I'm still trying to resolve this directly, but it's been days with no movement.

HONEST REVIEW: (Not a fake account like others here to raise their star rating. All fake reviews…read moreare from the same area code in Glendale where their business is based out of and mostly written after my wife's negative review of the company. Dishonest business practices!) Valet service should be easy. Park a customer's vehicle and return it. They parked our vehicle, but here is what happened on the return. The valet dropped off the car with the doors locked and keys inside. He tried to get them out but to no avail. After a long time, the valet called Fred, the manager, and Fred blamed us. Fred said this has never happened before and that it is our fault. I spoke to Fred and he said to call back on Monday. The valet was panicking and saying he is just a temp worker and doesn't know what to do. The valet called another valet and got into his car and they both hid around the corner in his car. We called AAA and they came out and got the keys out. The valet or Fred were no where in sight and with no solution for us. I called Fred on Monday and this is what he told me: "the car auto-locked on its own and it's not our fault."(I have owned this vehicle since 2000 and this has never happened.) He went on to say that the valet stated in his report that he opened the vehicle door and got the keys out. Funny, no mention of him hiding or that AAA in reality opened our vehicle. Fred was rude and dishonest to me, plain and simple. He never apologized or tried anything to make things right. I understand that this "situation" may never have happened before, but it happened to us. And it was bad. Fred or the valet didn't know what to do except to place the blame on us - the customer. My suggestion: Look at who is reviewing this Yelp account before hiring them. The account names sounds similar (currently lack any profile photos) and the dates are the same and mostly from the same area code in Glendale, CA (this may change) where Luxor Valet Parking Services is based out of. Again, Fred is dishonest in trying to raise his star rating on Yelp. Any one can park a car, but not everyone is honest. Fred is not honest. Do not hire them!! UPDATE to Fred's response below: Fred you are again being dishonest with your future clientele. Let me very be clear, I never mentioned anything about Yelp. You and I know that's the truth. I will clarify about the comments that you are now misleading your Yelp readers. - The night of the occurrence we spoke at about 1:30am. You kept saying that it was our fault and you cannot do anything about the situation. I was not rude to you. I was asking for your help, and you offered none. You said you can't help because the office is closed and to call on Monday. What was i supposed to do on a Saturday night at 1:30am with my keys locked in the car? - The Valet did take off the antenna without our permission. The antenna is still bent out of shape. The truth is the Valet tried, but was unsuccessful to open the Jeep door with the antenna. This was also witnessed not only by me, the bouncer at The Wellsbourne, my father-in-law and also my wife. In fact, customers of The Wellsbourne were offering their help and ideas to open the door, but ALL were unsuccessful. (When I spoke to you on the phone you said the Valet opened the door with the Antenna, not us.) - The antenna did not open the Jeep door. My wife kept saying not to use the antenna. But he did. After nothing was being solved an hour and a half later, I called AAA to open the Jeep. AAA opened the Jeep, I have a record of this if you would like to see. Your valet was with another valet sitting around the corner in another car. We did not see him the rest of the night after we told him we were calling AAA. - There is no "after market external locking system" on the Jeep. Not sure where you got that information from, but that is incorrect. It was a mistake made by the valet who accidentally locked the door, plain and simple. - You NEVER offered any form of compensation monetary or otherwise to compensate for AAA service, nor did I ever ask you for it. We both know that's the truth. Feredi Mashihi, I understand you are doing damage control for your future clients. But you still will not take responsibility for your employee's actions that night. A simple apology would have avoided all this back and forth and misinformation.

Fantastic experience using ParkSafe Valet!…read more To start off with, extremely responsive, kind and easy to work with. ParkSafe offered me a quote lower than others and wanted to ensure all questions and concerns I had regarding their services and process were addressed. Upon their teams arrival to my house for a party, they were organized, professional and arrived much earlier than the time of the event to set up. Their team was responsible, friendly and efficient in making a game plan for an area with tight parking. We felt incredibly safe having them handle our guests cars, and to top it off, they are licensed and insured. Thank you ParkSafe, will definitely be referring you and using your services in the future.

-0 if you are brown , left my car in a hydrant space because it was the only one available, (mind…read moreyou they said to put it there) there was no "available space" and when i suggested i could park it at the re drug they were all for it, never told me once about an Exlection, spent about two hours at the event, came out and my car was still in the same place, SMH for a valet service yoh woudl think different right ?? coincidence ? i think not as ALL of the cars that were behind me AND in front of me were placed in a "valued section" once i arrived. which means that's they took the time to move alllllll the of their cars except mine. NOT TO MENTION, when i wanted their attention they never gave it to me UNTIL a gentleman pointed me out of them, i kept asking "hello, is this the valet dor the event" i believe from the lack of movement, for a company that claims they have valet they moved my car NOT ONCE. AT ALL, when i asked them about it they said "it's right there" when in reality that's not how the "valet" should have performed given they MOVED EVERY single car in front AND behind mine but NOT mine.. lol sorry folks but to me that's discrimination SMH btw they had me park in a red zone because everything. was take. up but i come out the event two hours later to an empty streeeet BUt my car still there . SMH to those valet service providers.
